By far the coolest thing I'll ever do. Jamming with Steve Vai (also known on the streets as Jack Butler) Pardon a few raw notes, I was trying not to pass out, outta pure excitement. Vai academy is by far one of the coolest experiences ever thanks Steve Vai and all the other guys here for making it memorable and for sharing your love of the instrument with everyone, and just being so down to earth and most of all shredding the crap outta that guitar! 😃🎸🤘🏼🇺🇸🐻

First time I've ever seen someone louder than Steve.. Steve usually makes sure he's louder. You playing had more feel than Steve's, just being honest.

You are right about that. It seems like Steve is always the loudest in any jam.

Timing is off trying to play faster than your technique supports and missing the licks, sounding forced. Maybe Vai had you trying too hard. Understandable.... Relax, it ain't about speed until you actually have it controlled... add some major 3rd & flat 7 and some chromatic notes to give some variety to the basic pentatonic scale.
