It really is all about who you know in this world. Bryson had no buzz in Louisville (I live in Louisville). No one ever heard of him except his circle of people. He gets in contact with Timbo and the rest is history. Fucking crazy. Networking is the key to success.

I remember watching a Drake interview where he was saying that he is not worried about artists who are already popular "he already knows what they can do." He is worried about the up and coming artists that are hungry for his spot. I feel like he wanted to sign Bryson so he will be that "guy that was brought up by Drake" and will never be able to find his own lane after that.. if that makes sense
Bryson hella shy. Lol. Never been to a performance where his hat wasn't hella low. I shook his hand at his last performance and it was cold and clammy. Lol. He really is an introvert and awkward.
Me too. His voice, flow, and lyrics are on point. But most importantly for me, every single beat on the album is fantastic. He has a great ear for instrumentals.

IMO Bryson is a great songwriter with a helluva career ahead of him. He knows how to really use that vibe/Drake/Toronto sound to his advantage. I also think he kind of took Torys "spot" but deserves too. Tory has put out multiple projects that I like but don't keep in rotation. Bryson has one project and some other songs that I can't stop listening. I'd really like to see what he can do with an album and a budget.
Yea I actually prefer when Tory raps I first heard him on the HNHH cypher and thought he was nice. But he doesn't want to rap like that anymore which is kind of disappointing.
