I wonder how many of these "game is angry and spooky 'cuz you abandoned it" stories would be quickly solved if the owner of the game set the console's clock back.
That or just waiting since most of these gen one/two creepy pasta stories wouldn't really work that well considering the batteries in those cartridges would've died already.
@@justincanu9153 Oh, that could actually be kind of sad. If we assume these monsters are actually sentient, they might well be aware of their own mortality, knowing that the battery is rapidly draining. Maybe the 'creepiness' is actually a desperate call for help and the protagonist finally figures "Oh, maybe I should change the battery!" Except of course when you do that, it resets all of the data anyway. Whatever entity was in the cartridge -- ultimately not even malevolent, just lonely and afraid of death -- is gone forever, and there was nothing our well-meaning protagonist could have done.

I've always been torn on this story. I've been wanting to do another Pokemon story for a while, and this one keeps popping up. However every time I skip through it, I _ALWAYS_ see cringe-worthy lines. I'm SO glad you've done it so I can finally listen to this story told in the tone it was meant to... ... dead pan sarcasm :')

Wayland The Bat I can't say I'm the best judge of porn, but I'll admit that I found the Jirachi porn kinda ridiculous. (Jirachi apparently has a spiked dick. Also, to sum it up the rest of picture in a reference joke, 50 Shades Of Wishes) Also, she has a yaoi picture of BRVR kissing a normal Pikachu. As well as another notable creepypasta named Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers Of Death. (Yuri should feature it on a future BSCPST episode)

I'm pretty sure "Different from the other two," is referring to the other two Gamecube games he had tried (i.e. Mario Sunshine and Pac-Man World 2) because otherwise, as you point out, it makes no sense.

One thing I noticed. When he said “I knew this game was gonna be different than the other two” I’m pretty sure the other two he was talking about were Mario and Pac-Man, not other Pokémon games
Pretty sure thats either the joke, or perhaps Yuri doesn't notice most things; or maybe, because the author's so bad at writing coherent stories, nobody cared. Also, Yuri saying "what other two, you said you never played Pokémon games before", is just funny anyways. Also, I've played Pokémon Channel before, it's a cutesy game, like a sequel to "Hey You, Pikachu!", on the N64, which was one of my 2 first n64 games, along with "Pokémon Snap", and "Super Mario 64", and was much different from the other 2.

I can understand why theres a pretty large gap in content sometimes. Forcing yourself to read shit like this for half an hour would probably put most people into a coma as your brain slowly tries to erase itself to forget what itd just read.

The thing I love about these long creepy pastas is that i end up watching them at least twice. One reason being so I can understand the mad ramblings of the author who believes they are making a story, another reason is so that i have something to listen to while I try to get all the support convos in Fire Emblem Birthright and Conquest. @@m4ye104 more or less. it's not fantastic literature but still not the worst read out there. yuri's bit is to make the mediocre pastas sound awful and the genuinely bad creepastas into an exercise in endurance. creepypastas are old hat nowadays but honestly most of them are pretty alright, albeit trope-filled

The idea of a character returning to a long-forgotten game is great, but holy shit, there did not need to be so much fluff in the beginning. It's a nice concept, but the story could be improved.

That could be considered a terrible enough crime to get their parents to not let their son/daughter near this other girl who was author's best friend, who totally exists, and isn't a figment of the author's imagination. But, I know all too well what it's like to lose your best friend, and keep moving away. I've never written crappy stories though. I've also never had a girl as one of my best friends since last year. But I broke my phone, so I couldn't talk to her again until last week, because her video was privated until 2 weeks ago. But when I commented on her video again, she didn't reply back, and probably because she didn't believe it was really me. I tried to apologize, for being an irresponsible dickhead, but I guess she doesn't believe me, or she's so pissed at me that she doesn't want to hear from me again. That was 2 or 3 weeks ago. Guess I'm back to 0 friends again. Nothing i can do now. I'd love to turn back time and stop myself from being an idiot, but time machines don't exist. Neither do reset buttons. Mainly, it's my mom and grandma who say that, but I still think that's true. I don't mean to sound rude, but no thanks on the story thing. Don't worry, I'm sure your story is cool (no pun intended), but I'm sure a few rewrites here or there wouldn't hurt. I wrote a Dragon Ball Z fanfiction back in 2003 or something, so I was still like, 10 or 11. It was online too. I also wrote bad Mortal Kombat character stories too. But those were on paper. I was bored, so I wrote them during class, when I was a kid/teenager. So, around when Deadly Alliance/Deception came out. I'm not really a fan of social media, unless you want to count RU-vid. I know, about the moving thing. Me and my family do that way too much. Either my friends move, or we do. That's the way it's always been dude. I don't get why. I agree. That's how I'd describe it too. It's painful, and it hurts your very soul. So, the author got that part right at least. It's heartbreaking and soul crushing. Take your time if you want to rewrite it. I'm sure people would like your story too, you've just got to take constructive criticism, and use it if you want to make your story look as cool as you'd want it to be. And, well I'm still on G.U. Vol.2, but I'm further ahead. Alkaid is in a coma, Atoli was possessed, Sakaki is a douche, Sakubo and Enderance, as well as Antares join your team, and something about sealed weapons, and some dude named Phyllo. Also, everyone's either level 100, or close. Don't worry if not everyone likes your story, I'm sure it'll be a massive hit. Damn, Yuri is a fuckin savage in this pasta. Understandable though, I read this one long ago and it just went on and on without saying anything of substance.
This creepypasta COULD have been interesting if it contained flashbacks of 'brvr' slowly going insane as he realized that the author has abandoned him. For example, he could have written this at 33:00. "'brvr' thought back to his earlier days. He remembered how foolish he has been, trying to play Tic Tac Toe with the other Pokémon, just to gain some comfort in socializing. When the realization that your best friend has totally abandoned you sets in, the path of insanity swiftly follows." It's not perfect (it probably would have required for this story to be written from the third perspective), but it does add some mystery to the question of how 'brvr' went on a murder spree.
If this wasn't a creepypasta, it would probably be a warm reunion of two friends swept around by life's tides one way or another. But no, instead we got the worst part of Sonic.exe. Wonderful idea.

The story is generic, melodramatic and *SUPER GORY*, but I feel like the general concept behind it could be used to do something better. The whole "thing left behind for several years" thing could be used to make an interestingly depressing story, but it could use less gore and yellow electric mice. And video games too, probably.
So coming back to this after reading the sequel with my roommate we discovered that author-senpai was a girl which after listening to this again and how she describes her unnamed best friend it wouldn't be out of the question if she had an extremely unhealthy obsession with the poor girl that the parents discovered after finding the best friend shrine and told their daughter that she couldnt be around best friend-chan anymore.

I love plushies and I'm fucking edgy as fuck. These stories throw edgy bloody ones at you. That's basically optimal free merch for me. Well I don't own any stop watches so I'm basically mostly safe. I do have a friend named Kyle but I also have a friend named Andrew which means Yuri's spirit lives within him which by extension means I'm slightly immune to bad writing.
@@ectothermic Well, when I was 2nd grade, which was when I was a kid, I also had a best friend named Kyle. But that was 20 years ago. I'm 25 now. Haven't seen the dude in years. Haven't had any real friends in years either. Had to drop out of high school 6 years ago because of my epilepsy. It's also the reason why my mom quit her job, why I can't work and why I can't drive a car either. It's pretty bad, But I'm ok.
I actually think the main character is a girl, given how "Birvirvr" wrote "Where is she?" at the end. Plus it would make a lot more sense for her friend to be allowed to have sleepovers with another girl, as opposed to with a guy. But I digress, great reading, man! So many Creepypastas you've done, but you're still alive and kickin' with hilarious commentary.

So, am I the only one who noticed that this "story" has no conflict until the goddam end? It's just a bunch of stuff that happens, and then it ends. The narrator never really solves anything. Actually, that appears to be a common thing with creepypastas. Rather than presenting a problem for a protagonist to overcome, stuff just happens until the end. What a travesty. But, I loved your reading of it, Yuri. Thanks a lot for all your hard work!

Lately I've been listening to the Pokemon Horror stories channel and I've came across multiple stories there that were written by the same person that did this one. Pokemon Dead Channel is actually a beautiful masterpiece when you compared to the story I listened to just now! Its called Tommy Boy and no it doesn't contain Tom! It dose however contain a protagonist that's 10 times no a 100 times worse than Tom and the antagonist isn't the least bit scary and is actually lovable till the player screws him over with excessive abuse! Make him feel the wrath of Yuri!
I was actually well acquainted with the author of this story, and it used to be widely regarded on deviantart as the scariest shit this side of K-Mart. Oh how times change...I look forward to hearing this reading.
