Mori is really a good antagonist to the story I am disgusted by him but at the same time I am amused? by him .The way he manipulate people for the “greater good” and he is good at doing it people usually only talk about Yosano and dazai since they are the more obvious ones but we can add to that Q and chuuya maybe even Kouyou and Akutagawa I don’t think I need to explain Q but chuuya for example I feel Mori used specific words to paint himself as the perfect leader while showing chuuya that he wasn’t good with the sheep’s even though that wasn’t true he talked with him as if he was the only “adult” and responsible one in the sheep (he was a kid just like the rest of them) and by that gaining his respect and being the role model for chuuya to learn how to be a “good leader “as with kouyou he gave her the “freedom” and “power” that she didn’t have with the old boss but still kept her under some chains by that gaining her respect as the man who “saved the mafia “ and to a certain degree he did save the mafia i also need to point out that he was doing all of that for a purpose take yosano for example he did what he did for the country he didn’t care for the way or who will get hurt on the process all he needed was a strong army but time wasn’t on his side so he needed to use (violence?) with her on the other hand with chuuya and kouyou he had the time to play his cards right as for dazai he was the “perfect “ student for him to teach and form? Sorry for the long comment but I couldn’t help venting about mori and my hate/ disgust / admire? With him 😂😭
This is so real. I like how you pointed out his manipulation tactics! I understand why people hate him, or how (few) people love him, he's a bad person but he's quite a well-written character. The way he manipulates his victims, using either their weaknesses or their desperation, is bloody brilliant.
@@Holyshitthatsucksman. exactly like sure he is a disgusting old man we already know that but can we at least admit that he is a genius with the way he work and the guy is literally a mafia boss of course he’s going to use dirty ways to get what he want on top of that he is a great leader maybe the best in the series (in my opinion )in all the arks he was involved with planning and such ! He is not afraid to sacrifice people if it meant getting something better (oda for example) and he won’t throw away an important card easily (tachihara (I don’t know how to write his name😭) was a spy in the mafia and yet Mori found him and waited for the perfect opportunity to use him) he is amazing in his own uncomfortable way
Man it’s hard to find people with the same mindset as I do. I also enjoy Mori as a villain/antagonist but despise his character morally. Also! About showing the Mori Effect on on only Dazai and Yosano, this js merely the Dazai and Yosano section. I plan to show more ehe ( ´ ▽ ` )

“Mori injured Dazai” is not true, because Dazai was already crazy before meeting Mori. In the manga "Dazai and Chuuya 15" it was clearly stated about the first meeting of Mori and Osamu: "Mori saved Dazai, who was trying to commit $u!сиde"

ok ok so I have like a really random confusing ahh theory , like what if mori and Rintaro r 2 different people , and like mori is the one that’s shown to the public and rinitaro is like the one who stays hidden and since Elise has most likely known mori since the start that’s why she’s the only character who calls mori Rintarō , so like theirs a difference or sm ( that made no sense but I just wanted to say that , since we know absolutely nothing about moris past ) but I lowkey feel like this could make sense , because in beast we see how different mori is , like in beast it’s only rintaro , but in the original it’s just mori and Rintarou just doesn’t exist anymore and it’s just now only mori and that’s why he’s so messed up .
