7:01 yeeay!!! I'm in love with your way of portraing characters, cause, like, why people always do this things, when Mori dumb unempathetic b and gonna torture Chuuya to get Dazai back when he clearly scared of Dazai and should be scared if Chuuya for his powers. And also Chuuya's respecting Dazai's decision to leave the Port... I just love it
Rant: Okay so I realized that when Chuuya was "dying," most of the people in the room kinda looked down but not that sad at all. However, when Dazai was "dying," everyone looked devastated including Chuuya. Even Dazai didn't show that much grief for when it was Chuuya's death scene/ Plus, the creator already mentioned that Chuuya was under the vampire ability when he shot him, so they already knew that it wasn't unintentional. On the other hand, Dazai drowned Chuuya with full control of his body. The people in the room also know of Dazai's suicidical tendencies, so they shouldn't (at this point) not be that phased even though it could get heartbreaking. So in the end, it just shows that Chuuya was, once again, the second choice compared to Dazai. (Sorry, if this offended anyone; I have a tendency to go on a rant and over-analzye characters at times.)
i love this bc i feel like chuuya despite being one of the most popular characters is overlooked in the fandom bc in most reactions videos dazai gets almost twice the amount of time or videos as chuuya and no one says anything but when dazai gets a minute less everyone goes mad in the comments 😭😭
I NEED TO TALK ABOUT 17:30 Idk why but this fandom never puts credit to Chuuya in the prison arc, like Chuuya manage to trick one of the most powerful minds of the manga and yet people think Dazai had a harder job? Like I love Dazai and the plan was awesome but Chuuya deserves some credit because he had to make sure fyodor didn't suspect a thing. I LOVE YOUUUUU
I'm not saying I don't ship dazai and chuuya but dazai is sadly dazai is not gay neither is chuuya dazai calmed 4 times that he's not interested in men anyways it's still fun to ship right 😅
irl Dazai was bi and he fell in love with a boy when he was 15, in the fifteen manga dazai told chuuya that he loves him, and i believe that dazai saying that hes not interested in men is a joke because its a "funny" scene... (theres a LOT more but i have better things to do so i won't write it here) not saying that ur wrong tho, just that theyre REALLY fruity
The reaction video was perfect, but i think Chuuya would not be jealous of Sigma, lil bro wouldn't gaf (i understand its for drama and it was also funny so i dont mind, just saying)
Well ye thanks for sharing ur opinion! And sigzai is not a bad ship at all I respect ur opinion!! But as I said in the start of the vid when the tw “probably non canon reactions” and I found it funny to make him jealous!
whats the actual point of that oda joke at the start and really chuuya may aswell abuse dazai in these reaction videos and then he never even bothered do idk do anything when the video of dazai being unhuman but instead he said he deserved it when if there was a vudeo of chuuya being unhuman dazai would of denied it and said chuuya is. I wish there was just 1 reaction to soukoku that was just nice with some angst but they actually confort eachother in both ways.
The clip where Chuuya said he deserved it is more in character than if he had said he hadn’t. Chuuya struggles very hard with being empathetic towards Dazai, especially when it comes to him being suicidal. This is because Dazai is a good example of what everything Chuuya *does not* want to be. Apathetic, nihilistic, he loathes the very idea of it. Deep down Chuuya’s scared that his existence is meaningless, and as we know, Dazai already believes his life is meaningless. In fact there’s a line in stormbringer that shows this, Chuuya says: “I shouldn’t have been born? There’s no way I’d think like that, like that bastard Dazai!” But Chuuya already knows that there is a very real possibility of him becoming like that. Just as he knows he could’ve turned out like Verlaine. Chuuya doesn’t want to fall into the same pit as Dazai, and because of that, struggles to sympathize with him (much less empathize because that would require Chuuya to think about the fact that he COULD be like Dazai). He’s terrified that at some point, he will. He will find out that his entire life has been for nothing, and there’s truly no point for him to keep on going. It’s why Chuuya doesn’t take Dazai’s suicidal behavior very seriously. He REFUSES to. + Chuuya cares a lot about the city, and about his subordinates. We can see in the guild arc how pissed he is at the death count for the Port Mafia, and it’s not because they’re “losing”. For Dazai to act like people’s lives had little to know meaning, it goes against everything Chuuya values. And Chuuya already refuses to empathize with him.

Chuuya will never learn to empathize with Dazai unless he gets over his own fear, or stops associating Dazai with it. In Chuuya’s mind, it made perfect sense to him that someone who did not value their own life would not value their humanity either, and therefore, is inhumane. He’s basically projecting everything he fears onto Dazai
When i saw you made Chuuya jealouse of Sigma, I literally wish you would show vampire Chuuya with Fyodor to make Dazai jealous too, yeah... But you just decided to skip that... duh, quite disapointed. And Chuuya played a very important roll in the Prison acc too, but there weren't any vids of him too... What a pity:((
@@Hanomithe1st please do🙇 I'm very much prefer jealous Dazai more, I really think Dazai would be more the jealous one. Chuuya probably gonna thought "Why would I be jealous, we're nothing" and tried to deny it, while Dazai was just... possesive:D
