This honestly makes sm sense to have Akutagawa as Kikuo, not gonna say why cuz I lost the comment I was originally gonna say, which was like 3 paragraphs long and now I’m mad, but let’s just say you can interpret a lot of the songs in a way that makes sense to Akutagawa’s character ( im saying this as an akutagawa enthusiast and someone who knows a little too much about him. I’m not crazy I swear)

OH MY GOD?!! I haven't watched it all the way through, but I know just from what I've seen from the WIP that this will be *so* good..

This is really good, I had never thought of Kikuo's songs as Akutagawa. However, Corpse dance, Hole-dwelling and Emptiness are songs with really dark meaning so I would've liked if you put yours or a fan favorite interpretation for them too, since the characters didn't understand them much/fully. Amazing video though! I can't wait for the next part!

I could be wrong but I think the last one is about holding in your feelings until you explode. Everyone thinks you're empty and emotionless but on the inside it's like a festival, as stated in the song.. All your pent up feelings and emotions swirl around until you literally can barely focus because of it, in some ways, like being unable to sleep. Which, I think, fits Akutagawa well, since he's someone who has been regarded as emotionless since he was a kid.. But we know he's filled with pure hatred. ANYWAY great video!! We love Akutagawa!

HAIII I loved the video so so much it was so cool!! THOUGH I am a huge Akutagawa Stan and Dazai’s behavior bothered me a little 😭😭 he doesn’t actually hate Akutagawa and thinks pretty highly of him to which basically everyone but him knows as, his reason to live is to get Dazai’s approval. To keep him alive Dazai needs to keep Akutagawa from knowing how he truly thinks about him !! They are in a secluded space without Akutagawa there, meaning that Dazai wouldn’t need to try and get under his skin or think too poorly/harshly of him!! Again sorry for the rant I just love to rant and analyze these characters, especially my favorites (shin soukoku) :D
