BSF pupae self-harvesting into a bucket 

This is a video showing Black Soldier Fly pupae climbing up the harvesting ramp and falling into a collection bucket. The bucket was filled with some dry vermicompost and dirt so they burry themselves and begin their transformation into flies.
You can also hear the sound they make moving in a moist environment. It pops like rice pops.
