I don't know what is worse: the total destruction of Tolkien's beloved characters or the awful scripted "interviews" at the end of the episodes.😮 Awesome panel as ever, boys!❤
Sorry guys, Romulus is pure horse manure. Reason? Well the there is no Nostromo no more, it was blown to molecules by at least 3 nukes. Furthermore the alien that Ripley shot out of the escape ship would have drifted away from where it was shot out for years. The premise for the movie does not work.
I have turned to apathy for most "modern" media these days, but the Minecraft movie still annoys me immensely. I'm on multiple Minecraft subreddits, have my own private server, a few thousand hours of playtime since the alpha version, and I program mods for myself. I'm the target audience. This should be made for me. I just played Minecraft yesterday, and this does not look like it in the slightest. Minecraft is Steve, a dog, a bunch of monsters, and, if you want, Alex. Not a random group of people grabbed straight from the subway in some capital. I'm so sick of people using IPs to crap out their brain farts. If you want your own story, create your own IP and don't bastardize one that was great before. And the worst offense to the eye is the CGI creatures.
By the way, it was so funny, yesterday my wife watched Furiosa, and my wife is one of them people who watches so much crap and likes it, but after Furiosa she came into the kitchen laughing and asked me, "have you seen that movie Furiosa? What a piece of shit!". There is hope for normies. lol
The Barrow-wights were evil spirits, although their true nature is unknown; it is not known if they were perverted Maiar (Úmaiar) or spirits of Orcs, fallen Avari, or evil Men. The Witch-king of Angmar sent them to the Barrow-downs, in order to prevent a resurrection of the destroyed Dúnedain kingdom of Cardolan.
Regarding the Stoor's saying the only wizard we know is evil. During this time period there are no wizards in middle earth. And the first time, that I know of, that a hobbit meets a wizard is when Bilbo meets Gandalf for the first time. I don't think the Istari visited or paid any attention to Hobbits at all before Gandalf met the hobbits of the Shire.
The Hobbits from Bree got official permission from King Argeleb II at Norbury (Fornost) to settle the lands in the year 1601 of the Third Age (Year 1 in Shire Reckoning); they were led by the brothers Marcho and Blanco. The hobbits from the vale of Anduin had migrated west over the perilous Misty Mountains, living in the wilds of Eriador before moving to the Shire.
true and they helped a lot by taking care and farming the land of Arthedain at this time at war against Angmar . Hobbits start to rule over themselves when the King Arvedui of Arthedain was lost and his kingdom fel. you know it for sure but i add this for people interested. and this is all in the Third age as you said so the TV show is just complete BS
Monica the Ex-Wife could have definitely been the plot for Part 3. In fact, she should have appeared in the END credits, awakening and demanding to know where Beetejuice is!
Tom Bombadil is supposed to represent the author! I.e. Tolkien himself. That's why he says he was there before everything and is the eldest. Tolkien had to be there first before any of his ideas manifested into a literary reality.
The biggest sin of Beetlejuice 2 isn't that it's bad, it's well made, has a strong cast and a decent budget but it's just not that funny. Another issue is it lacks the dynamic of the original between the Maitland's and Lydia, they made it easy to dislike the rest of the Deetz family because of the contrast between both groups while Lydia in the second film feels very hard to like, Ortega and Keaton did a lot of heavy lifting in this film. I think if they'd tightened up the first forty minutes pacing and worked a lot harder on the quality and quantity of jokes then it could have been a truly great film.
1:51:01 Finally caught up on this stream (just in time for tomorrow's new BSUP). On this topic, FWIW, as I recall the Nerdrotic "Taco bout Blue Beetle" was basically him thumbing his nose at those who accused him of racism for not liking the movie. In other words, it wasn't his central video review of Blue Beetle, but more a tweaking of those who'd already attacked him for not liking the movie.
Stop putting up chat comments on screen when people are breaking stuff down, it's distracting, and sometimes leads to points being cut off early. Wait until they're done speaking, it gives the impression you don't care what they're saying
Give me one reason to listen to a bunch of ignorant hypocrites who has never seen a Burton movie and those who have call them shallow 🤣🤣😆 Who are you people? Stop embarrassing yourselves! 🤣😂
