Cherish them all and make a lot of memories. I found out this year, anything can happen in a blink of an eye. I lost my dad to cancer this year. I have a lot of good hunting memories...God Bless guys...

Great hunt? $500. Wonderful time spent with your dad and your friend? Priceless!! Getting a sweet buck while doing it? Nice! My dad left when I was 5, but I had an awesome uncle that took me and taught me to love the woods and fish and hunt.

Hot Da*n!! Brian you scored a great buck. You know that everyone is so hung up on the dang width, but a buck can be 40" wide and be thin and small forks, and that 40" width doesn't help it be any better of a buck. In my book, your buck has the genetics that makes a true trophy. Deep forks and great mass all the way out to the tips of his forks. That buck is a winner in any experienced hunter eyes. Congradulations!!! My dad started taking me hunting with him when i was 8 years old and those are the memories that I hold the closest to my heart, because I lost my dad several years back now and I think about him every day. I am so very happy for you Brian, having your dad and great friend with you to experience it. Made me tear up when you were talking about having your dad with you. To be honest, it was more than a tear, but thank you for sharing this moment with you, your dad and Casey.

I got to hunt with my pops 2 times this rifle season in Montana . Didn't get an animal. But that didn't matter. The time I got to spend with my dad was what it was about. You never know when will be the last time .so cherish every moment you can.

Cherish those moments. I lost my dad 2 years ago and he was the reason I love the outdoors. I shot my biggest deer last year and not being able to call him or send pics hurt so much. Congratulations on a great deer and I’m truly happy you get to make more memories with your dad and great friends

B mack , great hunt, nothing like hunting with your dads, brings back great memories, of me hunting with my father cant do it anymore he is 92 years old, the hunts just have not been the same. Hunt with your fathers every chance you get, some day it will end cherish every minute of it.

Here is how Cal suggested to cook it. Sauerkraut, apples and garlic in the crock pot. High simmer...skin the fat off first and then a nice slow cook. Will give it a go soon!

I have been watching all season and I think today was the best. My father passed 4 years ago. My son is 21 and lives in a different state. Hunting with family / loved ones is the best no matter what the outcome. But filling that tag and having that memory with your dad is that much better. My son at 10 sitting in front of me and my dad calling in a big Tom to 15 yards strutting and drumming for him. Nothing I hunt will ever compare to the memory of that day. Thank you for sharing your memories with us.

Once again, another great video! I love how you guys get fully involved in the hunt. You guys are all awesome! Some times you just have to go back to being simple, no pressure and enjoy the whole hunt and the process. Well worth it! Them big bodied bucks get us pumped almost as much as the antlers do. Beautiful buck Bmac! I shoot that buck every day of the week and twice on Sunday. The rib roll method is such a cool technique. Did it for the first time this year on a Colorado bull and buck. Worked fantastic.

My best friend is a meat hunter as well.. not a rack hunter.. he used to say pluck the ears and tail off and throw it i the pot.. lot of young whitetail deer 😊👍I wish I could hunt with my father again .. miss throes times .. your doing it right

Congratulations Bmack, I shot my buck in the exact same spot this year. Just below the spine. Barely touched the scapula on both sides. That is a great deer, congratulations!! Throughout this run of videos (and I have watched all of them and nearly every Hush video created) I have been critical during the slow times. Especially critical when those videos were centered around Mountain Ops because the videos didn't produce and end product typical of what Hush has been known for but rather they came across as half assed attempts to create commercials for a product. I still stand behind by opinions and based on the fact that the subscriber numbers haven't increased that much since this started proves that I'm not alone. My comments aren't intended to be cheap shots but rather constructive criticism. With that being stated I want to commend you guys for getting back on track and producing some solid content lately and I'm looking forward to riding this out with the remainder of the videos.

I'm in Wisconsin. And I'm a firm believer in the amount of fat correlates with how harsh or long the winter is going to be. Small game also fluctuate year to year.

Awesome tribute to "Pops"! Great hunt guys. My read on the FAT: I think that the Spring and Summer forage conditions have the most to do with it. Possibly less pressure from people and/or predators during those times as well. I have killed animals loaded up with fat with the same thought, only to experience a very mild Winter.
