No Fast and the Furious has been able to recreate the atmosphere of the original. Without Paul Walker, I don't they ever will. This movie meant something really special to me when I grew up. I don't remember how many times i watched it.
I know exactly. I´ve watched it over 42 times now. I grew up with it and always wanted to be like the two. A close friendship like this. Cali is still the dream.
Dude same here bro I remember my kusin telling me dude where on our way to house, I bought the original fast and furious we pulled up into taco bell before ,we left to my house to watch the fast and furious i was dude I want a car like that hell yeah man 💯💯❤️❤️❤️😈😈🔥
This song brings back massive memories. I remember being a kid and wanting to be like these guys. Now here I am, 26 years old, still as in love with this movie as I was the day I saw it at the cinema. R.I.P Paul. Ride or die.
itsandy88 It really is insane how time passes. I for one am honoured to have grown up in the same era as movies like this, it gives you direction through hard times, especially at that age. I will always treasure this movie, for the amazing series of movies it essentially gave birth to. Lets be honest, Vin and Paul were an unstoppable force. Lets not forget Rob Cohen, the director of this movie, without his vision for this movie, the series would perhaps never have become as spectacular as it has, Its a shame we never find out what happens to Leon. Hes the only one who didn't have an explanation in any of the other movies. Even Vince shows up in Panama. R.I.P Paul, miss you.
Jake Harvey Totally agree with everything you said. Im 22 now and even though these characters weren't "heroes" what they stuck by was their family and loyalty. If theres any direction I've ever needed in my life it was that. Shame we never got this score back for the later films but this will always be the sound of The Fast and the Furious for me... This and the Charger revving up. R.I.P. Paul
***** You hit the nail on the head with that comment. I completely agree, this is the sound of The Fast and the Furious for me too. I listen to this so much, not only does it bring back memories, its lovely to listen to.
Jake Harvey I'm 21 now i totally agree! This is the only movie in the series that had some kind of nostalgic fever to it. Everything was memorable, from the plot to the characters.
I love this sound...and the song of the chello/violin in this absolutely breath taking. Similar to Paul Walker, so unbelievably surprising and soothing to the mind and body that it lifts you to another plain. Thank you for wonderful memories my friend RIP....JN
most people don't understand how special this movie is... this soundtrack , the emotion behind it, the story about and outsider, about friendship... it was unique and no one sequal could and will get any close to it. good old days.
0:46 I was already close to crying tears of nostalgia, but when I saw the Mitsubishi Eclipse while hearing that beautiful music, I lost it. It was the first car I ever fell in love with in the franchise. Even though I eventually became a fan of the Toyota Supra, the Dodge Charger, the Nissan Skyline and a few others, you never forget your first love. R.I.P. Paul Walker. We all owe you a ten second car.
this piece of music brings so many emotions up to me, even though I'm not old enough to recall memories from the early 2000s this song somehow instanly brings me there
Sadly i don't have memories about the moment the first F&F came out. But i remember at least 1 thing... that movie gave to most of us the passion of cars. #CARGUY4EVER
I also love this theme song however I dont think of the crash in the desert scene I think of the end where brian lets dom go because he begins to see thing from dom's pov and you see that through the rest of the series.
Man... Why did they go down that stupid "street racer turned glorified spec ops with cars" route... Why couldn't they have made something as emotional and perfect as this movie. Call me biased, but this is my favorite movie of all time. Yeah, its cheesy, but if you put that aside and you watch it for what it really is supposed to represent, you get a masterpiece. AND WHY COULDN'T THEY HAVE KEPT THIS PIECE AS ITS THEME THROUGHOUT THE SERIES?!
Remember this gorgeous piece of music from when Dom is talking to Brian about his dad's awful car accident, and beating that guy almost to death out of rage. Back when Fast & Furious had emotional depths and it was about cars...Miss that a lot in these films. From a better time when Need For Speed was also cool and genuinely brilliant 😊
I dont know why but in the moment 4:20 to 5:07 almost had me crying every time i listen to this masterpiece. Still a huge fan. Hope you doing well Paul. We miss you.
All the songs related to this franchise, and this instrumental piece is the one I ALWAYS want to go back and listen to. Brings out allot of emotion. Digs deep, I cannot lie.
