Aside from this sort of map, what is he once step ahead on? Cause Mrekk blows him out the water in jumps, speeds, nomod, and even higher star hd maps with huge jumps, then you have Vaxei who is currently the best tech player without a doubt and prob the best overall player, WhiteCat who is contending with these same two players. I don’t even need to get into high bpm streaming territory with people like NyanPotato and Aetrna. Shige is amongst one of the best and this is what he excels at but he isn’t “one step ahead of everyone”, don’t be ridiculous

Been watching this guy since OpenRec days, but there is nothing more annoying than the fans who blatantly lie about his ability and just say he’s the best player out right now, completely playing down all the current top players. It’s disrespectful to other top players who have worked so hard to get where they were and it’s just cringe when fans like you forget that he’s simply not the best anymore. Admit it, it pains you to be reminded that he’s outclassed in not only speed, raw aim ability, consistency, jump ability, and even tech when counting in Vaxei, and even finger control with players like Ekoro. So when he gets his moments to shine you have to shadow it with “he’s the best player ever” to fill that void.
