BTO Bird ID - Peregrines 

I've been watching a peregrine family for 10 years. What an adaptive city hunter! They are ultimate pigeon hunters in cities. Race pigeon, roller pigeon or others they just take them in the air with very high speed attacks. I've never seen a peregrine eating carcass or stealing from other birds. They are unique, powerfull and elegant. King of predator birds i think.

After seeing lots of them from the SW coastal path this summer I noticed they make a lot of noise! The sound is quite distinctive and should be included here I think- it indicates when they are nearby which obviously helps when it comes to spotting them..

Awesome! So good to see these amazing birds making a comeback. Just need to dispose of the backward scum who try and persecute them

The Falcon is the magneficnt bird

I have 2 of these going after my hummingbirds. Thinking about taking the feeders down

I guess the Hobby feeds on Swallows, Swifts and Martins so follow their prey
