yes!! I hope he knows that he doesn't have to worry about mentioning Ilhoon because most of us still consider him as part of the group. Besides Ilhoon has already stopped using weed in 2019 and he immediately took rehab counseling voluntarily. Ilhoon only made a mistake once because he had a problem but he has always been a loving and caring person to everyone. It's just sad that people were so hard on him when the news came out when he only did it because he had a problem and was having a hard time. They're treating him as if he killed someone or got someone involved yet there are other celebrities who'd done worse in Korea but are still roaming around. And because of the huge backlash, he decided to leave the group so he wouldn't affect their group's reputation. But don't worry, there are tons of hints of him still being on their gc and even btob themselves reacts positively whenever they see a fan holding a seven member banner. Even Eunkwang still has their portrait with all 7 of them on his house. Changsub and Peniel also held up a 7 hand sign during their first concert without him but obviously they got a lot of hate for that so they stopped publicly mentioning him but they always try to do it secretly through hints. They also like teasing about Ilhoon on some of their posts. For example when Eunkwang posted a photo of him with Changsub, Minhyuk, and Peniel on ig and they were posing in front of a glassed shelf so you could see their reflections but on the last photo he took a photo of an angel statue displayed on the shelf and he captioned it like "Sungjae, Hyunsik hurry up. Feat. Finding the hidden member on the last picture." pertaining to the angel statue since Ilhoon's nickname is angel. There was also a time when they were promoting as btob 4U subunit. And they were being interviewed in music bank and they were asked to say a message to the members who are in the military, Changsub accidentally included Ilhoon's name to the members. He said Sungjae, Ilhoon ah there are only 2 months left blah blah blah and it seems like he didn't notice that he said his name but you can see Minhyuk and Eunkwang's reaction to the side and after Changsub was done speaking, Eunkwang immediately corrected it and said Sungjae and Hyunsik lol. Their brotherhood is really one of the best in kpop and it just makes sense that they can't cut off ways with Ilhoon especially that he's been with them for more than 10 years. Heck, the members practically raised Ilhoon and Sungjae as the youngest members of the group. Ilhoon seems to be doing really well now tho Ig he's already done with his counseling. Even some Korean melodies are starting to accept him again since there are a lot of Korean comments on his ig posts saying that they missed him. There was even a time when they performed in an event last year and some melodies included Ilhoon's name on the fanchant🥺

Actually in most Asian countries he is morally wrong so most fans in Korea and China can’t accept him( we should respect other countries’ laws😂) but most fans watching this are international fans so that’s ok to mention him.

and you know what, there are many korean fans who still support him. I know it's not the majority, but seeing that he's still loved in his own country gives me joy.

What he did is absolutely wrong but it is fine to mention him. He is a part of BTOB history undoubtedly.

Agree tbh. At least he isn't horrible like other ppl that acts like life advocate but also the same ppl that spreads nasty words. Ilhoon might have done mistake by law, he still remainin respectful and well-mannered. Him owning up his mistake made him more human than these nasty horrible judgemental ppl who feels like they never had any dark secret all their life.

I mean Ilhoon is free and with 3 years in probation. He leave the group, he was not removed. Cube knows that a lot of Melody or Hana and Hanpeu rather, are still waiting for him and his contract is not even terminated, he is still under Cube.

-Was not imprisoned (have a 3y probation). -*Left* the group to protect them from the news that was about to break out a few days *later*. -Still an artist under Cube. That’s basically it.

uhm....? comparing smoking weed to an adult marrying a 7 year old?

Yes he broke the law and accepted his consequences…however, he should not be penalized for the rest of his life for a poor decision. And it wasn’t for possession of marijuana, it was for smoking marijuana over a 3 year period of time, although he had already stopped it.

@@paytonhenrich7376 no where in this did I say these offenses are on the same level, I compared cultural legalities not severity of the crime. I made a comparison to something that wouldn’t be legal in the US and something that is legal in other countries. Please don’t put words in my mouth just because you don’t understand the concept of what I’m trying to get across.

@@cindih78 Yes, that’s the point I was making. I guess you missed the part where I said he’s been failed by his countries justice system and that the point was that he’s been treated like some sort of awful criminal for just marijuana.

It’s (marijuana use) not morally wrong in most Asian country’s (at least from what I’ve read online) it’s just illegal. A lot of the Asians that I’ve interacted with were upset because he broke the law and he is an idol, not because he smoked mj). And they are very strict about following laws in Asian countries.

He didn’t harm anyone. And marijuana is not like hard drugs. It’s more fair to compare it to drinking. And there was a time when drinking alcohol was illegal in the states. I don’t think those who drank back then were morally wrong. They just broke the law but didn’t hurt anyone.
