From BTQ7's 50 years special broadcast in 2009.
Agro is an Australian puppet and media personality, operated by comedian and voice artist Jamie Dunn. He was especially prominent on Australian television in the 1990s due to his co-hosting opposite Ann-Maree Biggar and Terasa Livingstone of Agro's Cartoon Connection, a children's program that was aired from 1989 to 1997 on weekday mornings by the Seven Network

Scary part is its happened before. The early 90s were P.C. too! It faded into obscurity. And along came the God awful "feminists" (no, these women PRETEND to be. My mum was a feminist of the 70s, she fucking hated P.C. crap.) and easily offended buzz killers.

I recorded this full special on VHS when it aired. Love me some Agro… Alas, if only my Mum didn’t accidentally wipe over my Dad’s appearance on a Twonks segment from 1994.🙄🙄🙄🙄

There really IS something about Agro that is special, everybody loves him young and old. Jamie Dunn says he has no skill. Well, I'm here to tell you that without the voice, the quick wit, the lightening timing and that latent, light blue streak, Agro would be just a piece of smelly carpet off the bathroom floor wearing makeup. The man is a legend.
