Dope was THE MV that really drew in tons of fans. It was highly requested for reactions and the first line, ‘First time with BTS?’ Was hilariously on point for people discovering them. I have to admit I feel some sort of way that their music seems so ahead of its time bc many of their older songs would be hits right now if given the chance on radio 😢

So just fyi in case no one told you the mv and the dp are sometimes different because the dp is for a live performance of the song. In the mv they may show something like Suga alone with drones but on stage all 7 dance so therefore we get a bit more choreography. Hope this helps😊

Actually we used to begged for Jin to be the center. People used to complained so much in the past. RM used to say that there’s a time when the other members will shine. Thats during Love Yourself Her where Jin and V got the most lines. Most of japanese songs really show Jin strength too. Now there’s no issue about it coz Bighit and BTS finally get to organize or contribute the lines well so every member could shine.

This video just reminded of how much they all have improved, especially Jin. He's always been a better dancer than me but he always seemed so unconfident back then and now he seems so sure of himself.

If you guys try to notice RM and Jin are always on the side of their dance formations because they're the right and left wings of their dances despite them not having dance backgrounds they still do their best to give a 100% performance.

Referring to dance practice... the section where you believed Suga to be 'in the center' while watching the MV, Suga was actually surrounded by drones. Remember, these dance practices are not practices for the music videos so much as they are the practice formations for their stage performances.

This is one of my favs of theirs. I love the words and meaning behind it and love the dancing. It blows me away to think the youngest three were all still teens when this was released. They exude such utter confidence! It makes it a joy to watch!

I always loved spring day's choreo, they don't have one in the mv but they have a live stage (look for mma 2017 spring day live) and they have a dance practice. Also Jimin's choreo's from lie and serendipity are 😘👌, Butterfly, For you (dance version) ... other must watch choreo's: fire, mic drop, BST, Danger, GoGo, Anpanman (def check out Gogo and Anpanman, they're fun), Save me and I'm fine (they used Save me choreo to transition into I'm fine choreo, so watch Save me MV first, save me has a must watch making of video btw, it was a one shot take) Idol, Airplane pt2... I think I might have mentioned all by now 😂

I love watching you guys. I binged BTS in 2018 when I first saw them and this song was the one that caught me because of RM. Suga was a surprise. I didn’t expect him to be such a great dancer. I watched them doing Run DMC “Tricky”. They were doing a show with other groups. The groups segue from Tricky to the next group doing MC Hammer “Can’t Touch this”. The boys were doing something else and V started the song to practice I guess...everyone would join in back and forth but what killed me was Suga and RM.As his usual self Suga had his look and then suddenly he jumps in with this giant smile and moved his little self like...um JHope I guess and RM had me on the floor. The actual production was great especially the real J-HOPE. It’s old it popped up. In my head now I can hear you guys laughing and commenting tons. Way to make a body smile!

If anything in the dance practice doesn't look familiar from the MV it's because they don't show the full choreo in the MVs. That's why dance practices are so exciting. We get to see the full choreo that they've worked so hard on. ☺️

so this MV was made when they were going through a really rough time dealing with plagiarism, threats, etc. that's why the lines said "everybody copies me" and "this is bangtan style"

It's such a beautiful song both in lyrics and cinematography but I always felt the dance weirdly, perfectly interprets the emotions the song portrays. Told ya this would give you life! Y'all found your jams. This was my 3rd MV. I saw Mic Drop, then Blood Sweat and Tears then this. (Well not actually cause I knew BTS .before I realized I knew BTS. Long story.) TWO Weeks Later.... realized I hadn't watched anything else i was like um.... this rabbit hole feels familiar. Here is the first time confession of an unintentional Army deserter. Eventually I rediscovered If I Rules the World, Bullet Proof pt 2, No More Dream, Save Me, Run, Fire etc and I was like why do I know these songs??? Then I saw the video for Run and Not Today and some dance practices and was like waaaaaiiit.. .is this the group my friend showed me and I kept asking him who it was and he stopped telling me ????? !!!!!!!!!!ARMY HEAR ME OUT OK!!! !!!????? I was double majoring in Grad school, volunteering, producing films, writing three scripts a week, working and sick ok? Okay!!! I couldn't remember that long ass name ok? I feel you Jin!)

Dope is the first video I ever saw. Also the "Suga in the middle" was when he was singing with the drones with lights. I think you were reading lyrics and then looked up to see the lights. That's why I've said it on other videos, you need to watch the mv without captions. Then you can see everything that happens. When a new video drops RU-vid gets millions of views and inevitably many get deleted. They don't seem to believe that one ip address can watch it 10+ times each without being a bot. For me 1st view is just to experience it. 2nd to see it, 3rd with captions, 4th thru 10th is one video each, per member ie watch the whole video focused on dancing and/or singing. If it's an and situation, then add 11th - 17th for the other one. Then again through the whole thing a few more times. So for me, its usually around 20 times when a new video drops. If only RU-vid would figure this out, we wouldn't have to freeze or delete views. Sorry that all came out because I watch their videos for the first time so different. But really, try the mv first without the lyrics. You'll see so many more things.

At 9:05 (practice video)Suga was in the center of drones in the mv. The practice is what you would see in concert. They are so professional that they actually watch their practices, mv scenes while filming, concerts, you name it afterwards (or during) to see where they can improve. They value ARMY so much that they always say they want to give us the best performance possible. I get a kick out of when they goof up and the funny ways they try to cover it. This and Mic Drop were the songs that first got me into BTS, so dope!!! About Jin and the front position, I think he shines the most in the vocal line's songs (Dimple, The Truth Untold, House of Cards, etc), in his solo songs (Awake and Epiphany live are crazy good, his vocals and stage presence are so strong), and in heavy vocal's songs like Pied Piper, Airplane pt. 2 and the newest Home and Jamais Vu. In this song BTS stands up for the youth and criticizes against Korean older generation and with double meaning of criticism against powerful companies, etc. "Baepsae" doesn't have a music video. They sure do make great fun music with great messages. You won't be disappointed to watch both of those videos. The "mirror" video has more views than the original one because it has English subtitles.
