It also must be difficult just picking songs to present to people who are not familiar with BTS b/c their songs are so DIVERSE. Personally I think it shows the enormous range of creativity and talent they have.

As Suga had explained before at an interview at the Grammy Museum in the past, rather than calling K-pop a genre, he thinks a better approach would be to see it as an integrated content. K-pop includes not just the music, but the clothes, the makeup, the choreography...all these elements he thinks, sort of amalgamate together into a visual and auditory content package. This he thinks, sets it apart from other music or maybe other genres.

Blood, sweat and tears is apart of their album wings which is based on the book Damien and this song is also apart of their storyline so it’s a little confusing. And when watching a BTS music video you have to turn on the captions their lyrics are one the reasons why I became an ARMY 😫

i really suggest showing them a live performance!! dionysus comeback stage or airplane pt2 at mama would be good full group ones or outro tear at wembly for rap line! also another artist suggestion would be Taemin! idk if y’all are familiar with him but he’s the youngest member from the group Shinee and he’s known as the king of kpop and michael jackson of kpop i suggest his songs Criminal, Advice, Want, Idea, and Move!

I think it is very fair to say they are a very visual group - b/c they put a lot of effort into not only making good music but presenting it in unique ways that fit the song. ( Gonna go deep into BTS Cannon here but it can link back to advise they got from Coolio in American Hustle life - where to paraphrase if it looks good, sounds good it is good)

You guys should watch the dance practice for this song as the MV doesn't give it justice. They practiced 10 to 14 hours a day where they are so good at every single movement and when they need to do it. Have them watch the Danger dance practice to see how hard they work at it. Also have them watch the 2016 live MAMA performance, and let them know this is an award show.

When you first start following them yes 7 guys seems like a lot. And Not gonna lie, it took me a bit to be able to identify them individually. But the more you watch & learn about them it becomes easier - and eventaully it becomes clear that this group ONLY worked b/c it had these specific 7 individuals. (It is interesting & helpful to watch videos that go over who the BTS seven members are)

I like this combination of people, you guys are thoughtful and respectful to eachother. I wish I could hear your comments a little more clearly, the volume on the mics is ?? OK, in my opinion this is a tough one for new BTS experience, it's so full of message that can be hard to understand, and I can tell you guys are thinkers. I'm ooking forward to seeing what else you show your hostages, LOL. I agree it takes more than 3 songs to get what is going on with them. You might even show them the Dear Class of 2020 speeches, or the UN speech, or even better one of the good intro to BTS videos; I like the old "Who is BTS, the Seven members by Suga and spice, followed by the great intros that xCeleste does. Finally, someone thought the same! The first time I watched Blood, Sweat & Tears, I also thought it's a song about vampires 😂 It was my second BTS song and MV, and I right away assumed this is some sort of vampire-themed video. Never thought anyone looks "feminine" (still don't), but definitely thought they were trying to look like fashionable vampires or were going for anime aesthetic 😁

I too have heard songs I never would’ve given two minutes for if I didn’t see the video first and vice versa. I like that your honest in your reactions. Don’t be afraid of ARMY. While we are passionate about BTS, there’s nothing we love more than when you share what they’re capable of with people who may have never heard of or seen them. All we ask is that comments and reactions are in a tasteful and respectful manner💜It’s okay if you don’t like it; everyone has their own perspective and genre faves. Only thing you need to do now is REACT TO LIVE PERFORMANCES PLEASE!! I think they might be blown away? Show them what BTS does on stage. Maybe start with Born Singer live with the lyrics. It may be a little relatable to their musical tastes. The performances show their passion for music without a doubt. Or possibly show the video of a song and then the live? Just some thoughts....you nice, keep going! I love the reaction vids cuz usually there’s something y’all pick up on that I missed. It’s nice to hear it through a fresh set of eyes if that makes sense lol.

Song is based on a book. RM usually writes songs that are psychologically have a double meaning. You have to unfold the double meaning. Most of their songs are Psychological. Their English songs, I have to say BTS went poppy because American public aren't Critical thinkers like in other countries. We have to admit it.

thank you for your reactions.. liked it! Just an FYI, BTS' every old MV's are inter-related to each other. It has something to do with the BT Universe. If you are confused you may check the BTU and you will understand their MV's in the future. Check on "BTS Storyline Summary + Explained 2020" by XCeleste. The only 3 English MV's were, I believe not inter-related to each other as this has something to do with the situation were have right now. If you want to dig deeper on BTS and who are they and how are the chosen, I suggest for your to check: "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS" by The Asian Theory and Who Is BTS by Xcelete", I assure you after viewing this two (2) documentaries, you will know them. Once again, than you for you reactions, it means a lot...

Is it just me? but the sound quality is so quiet I can't hear what they are saying 😔 very well.. so it's difficult to watch ..hope you can sort it out better as I would love to join in. Have to read the comments to actually find out what has been said xx💜🇬🇧
