Guys, notice how this song is about a new type of superhero, perhaps one that isn't as appreciated and they're dressed as construction workers. That is so heart warming and sad at the same time. These are the people we don't pay attention to, people who provide important services but have no glamour. Some of the lyrics even say "But mom, I really need to do it/Who's gonan do it if it isn't me?" That could also be a reference to how Namjoon had to argue with his mom to let him become a rapper. Training under Bighit wasn't gonna be a glamorous thing, it would be a lot of suffering, but he and the rest of BTS believed that they were doing something good. They weren't just there for the fame and cheers, they really thought of BUILDING SOMETHING WORTHWHILE, something legendary and memorable. That is some seriously admirable commitment to their artistry. And that is the reason their music is so epic and amazing. It's so in tune with our times and personal, the only way I can describe it is as artisanal. In the korean industry we see so many songs being churned out at a factory pace, lyrics that repeat over and over and sounds that get trended like it's a conga line, but here we have these guys who listen to the youth that follows them and also the older generations and crafts their own unique thing accomodating trend and idiosyncrasy to create timeless ART. They deserve all the love.
Love Yourself: Tear 5.18.18 Also “pan” means bread in Spanish, Japenese and sort of in Korean. I also might be a character, if I’m correct. Apanman is a bread man who gives pieces of himself up for someone else. He destroyes himself to give to others.
Love Yourself: Tear 5.18.18 anpanman is a japanese superhero that has a dessert for a head he is really weak and gives parts of his head to the poor and hungry it’s a really “sweet” and sad story (yes pun intended)
yes! and anpanman is the world's weakest hero, he sacrifices a bit of his "anpan" (sweet bread) head to give it to people who are hungry and gives them strength (you can see joon offering a piece of his head in the choreo to jimin). a selfless but weak hero, but still a hero nonetheless.. i think jimin talked about how it's their personal feelings about being celebs and idols and changing peoples' lives with their music! it's a sad but sweet song if you take out the hype atmosphere ~
army! i am a 19 year old korean rapper and plan on making it in america and meet BTS one day. join my journey and ill make you the proudest fans in the world :)
Yall! 2:03 - 2:08 ! They're paying homage to the original Angpanman, who is a hero with a head made of bread. Angpanman would feed the weak with a piece of his head and although he becomes weaker, the other person becomes stronger! And I love that they highlighted this part because BTS are so giving and this is such a good message of selflessness.
Oh my GOSH RM in the center, Jin in the center, YOONGI IN THE CENTER and the freaking duo between RM and Jimin WHAT THE HEEEEEEECK IT'S SO GOOD!!! 😱😍👌❤️💯🔥🔥🔥✨ And this choreo was MADE for J-Hope like he's just perfect 👌👌👌😘✨
RIGHT?! he's a real performer. its all about actually feeling the song from within which exudes from oneself rather than just "pulling a face", if that makes any sense (a dancer on YT talks about taehyung in that way-forgot her name).
According to Google, Anpanman is the weakest superhero but our 7 angels made a song on it to show how powerful it is! Their songs have the real meaning❤❤ ✌🏻✌🏻Love you BTS
I can't breathe properly... The choreo and the music theme at the background and the cutie clothes is just so cute ! Kookie being adorable at the end omg !! 💕💕
Honestly I have to tell Jimin stands out so much in this. I’ve never seen him smiling so much while performing a song on television. His smile is so bright in this one. Maybe he’s extremely happy to be back at performing in his home country? Or it’s maybe a sign for us to say don’t worry Army I’m safe and I’m happy. Idk something about his smiles in this one really hit me in my feels he looks so freakin happy i can’t
if you guys noticed, their stage outfits are kinda like construction workers and firemen and other blue collar workers, so they're kinda saying that these blue collar workers are "the new generation anpanman" and the heroes of today :))))
Making music which seems cheerful, have positive vibes yet have deep meaning... IF THIS IS NOT A TALENT THEN IDK WHAT IS!!!! I swear I don't regret stanning these 7 NORMAL BOYS from SOUTH KOREA 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
0:30 SUGA IS SINGING IM DEAD HE SOUND SO SEXY v why you got to stab me in my heartue and yass jin get it 😍 jimin don’t think you didn’t help in the process of killing me jungook stop being such a bunny and killing armys rm why be so photogenic i’m jealous you slayed jhope my sweet sunshine you slayyyed this i think we can all agree BTS SLAYED but what slayed me the most was suga SINGING LIKE REAL WORDS AND HE TRIED I FEEL LIKE A PROUD MOMMA
yoongi is a rapper, there's different types and sounds to rapping and especially with this song being more of a rap song, i'm pretty sure he's doing more of a slow rap. agree to disagree tho
Things I loved about this 1. Jin’s AMAZING dancing 2. Jimin’s smile and vocals 3. Jhope’s amazing rap 4. RM’s ability to rock that jumpsuit even though no one else can 5. EVERYTHING 😍
I love Jin as much as any ARMY but he isn't a dancer and I really wish they would stop making him dance, at least until he can relax and enjoy it. He's so much more expressive when he has those "acting" parts in songs where he just has to convey emotions while posing or making simple gestures and motions. As a big fan of dance it honestly hurts to see him dancing. He clearly tries so hard to keep up with the other members but he just can't seem to relax while dancing and it shows.
TheAnomaly Are we even looking at the same jin right now? This comeback is the best comeback I have ever seen highlighted jin dancing skills and he have gained more confidence in his moves than previous years. Yes he isn't as good as the main dancers but he is doing his best and he's getting better. He is relaxing and enjoying. I've notice since the comeback bighit gives him more centers, time to dance at the front even when he's not singing and backup. dancing like 2:47 behind Jungkook. Why would they do that if jin was only good for "acting" parts. They are doing this to make jin adjust to it and so he came improve further for future comebacks. And he is. Many people is seeing his improvements. I feel the next comeback is going to be even better. I really can't find where he isn't keeping up with the other members like you stated.
Fun Boyz Do you want me to point out each and every time he doesn't hit the moves with the same freedom or expressiveness as the other members and start a fanwar because I could but I would rather not? A small example of what I mean is 1:36. Look at his feet. He isn't bouncing as freely as the other members and doesn't bend his knees as much to fit in with the "enjoying the music vibe" that part is supposed to give off. They are other examples of this almost every time he dances and he has stiff look like he's trying really hard to remember the choreo and not mess up instead of just dancing. As I said, I love Jin but he isn't a dancer and it shows if you focus on him throughout the performance
ANPANMAN IS SUCH A BOP I WAS WAITING FOR THE CHOREO. Their outfits hjdbsjhads they all look SO GOOD. This gives me serious Gogo and 21st Century Girl vibes since they're having so much fun!
I just realized it was Jungkook flapping Taehyung’s hoodie from behind in the Anpanman performance to make it look like it was flowing in the wind agadkhksahf
Dope Goddess well if we look at the lyrics anpanman definitely more cheerful cause tho gogo is catchy af, it's about escapism and the sad reality of today's young generation
I get the feeling that there are hidden meanings within this song. Anpanman is a superhero who's head is made of bread. He gives pieces of his head to others to make them stronger but it makes him weaker. Maybe bangtan is ARMY's anpanman. They talk about getting hurt in secret but they keep going for our sake. They mention that they're scared to "fall", maybe meaning they're scared to disappoint us. They also talk about being our strength and say they'll put away their fears for us. "Even if it takes up all my strength, I will be sure that I stay by your side."
I was feeling sad today. But I came to happy, while I'm watching this video. This makes me smile. That's so amazing. There is no doubt that BTS is my Safety Zone.
I love how this song is a about a hero who isn’t strong at all and they represented different types of jobs people get looked down upon for through their clothes. What they wanna tell us is; you can always be someone’s hero, no matter how much you own.
