Thank you for watching my reaction to BTS (방탄소년단) 'FAKE LOVE' Official MV! Follow me on Twitter: @AndyPiluk Follow me on Instagram: @AndyPiluk Link to actual video: • BTS (방탄소년단) 'FAKE LOVE...
6:05 they have a song called "save me" which dropped in 2016, and in their most recent album "love yourself : answer" which dropped in 2018 they have a song called "i'm fine" which is kinda like the happier version of save me. it also has the same beat like save me in the beginning. In the Fake Love music video, when you turn around "save me" it changes to I'm Fine :)
You said you like rap I think. If you haven't heard or seen a lyric video or live performance of their Cypher series, Ddang and Outro Tear are all really good. Suga's solo work under his solo name Agust D like Agust D, Give it to me and The Last are all amazing. 💜💜💜💜
Basically, All of the Rappers are All amazing at their art! Fun fact Suga's aka Agust D. is His first name "SUGA" backwards = 'AGUS" add on the first letters of Daegu Town, where he is from, backwards "T D". Altogether you get: "AGUST D." 😁💜4♾
"OMG, What is going on?" Yeah .... you just fell into the middle of the BTS storyline. All the things you didn't understand or that you found confusing (the flower, water, fire, candy bars, phone) relate to the storyline. The storyline is hinted at in the earliest MVs, but really got its start with I Need U. Since you're new to BTS, you might want to see some less confusing MVs at first... These are not related to the storyline: Danger, Dope, Fire, Save Me, Not Today, DNA, Mic Drop. Of course. there are a lot more lyric videos out there that do not have an MV, but that show which member is singing which part - with translations. And there are solo performances as well.
I honestly can't wait for you to get to know and see more BTS. I haven't been this excited about a reactor/new fan in a really long time. There's also a few cool things I want to point out that you kinda noticed in the video. First, throughout many BTS videos, Jimin is usually involved with water and Yoongi (Suga) is usually involved with fire. Second, remember the words "Save Me" that you noticed? If you turn it upside down, it becomes "I'm Fine". Both of these are titles of BTS songs. Save Me came first (2016), and the lyrics talk about needing someone to save you/love you/be with you, while I'm Fine (2018) directly responds to Save Me's lyrics and says that no, I don't need to depend on someone else because I'm Fine and I'm strong on my own
The depth of this music video is MIND BLOWING. There's a lot of symbolism out there This music video is part of their ALTERNATIVE BTS UNIVERSE (storyline that you can find in bts's music videos, short films, "the notes", concept photos, highlight reels..etc EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED AND HAS A MEANING. EVERY SINGLE DETAIL IS IMPORTANT) The BTS Universe or storyline is a deep reflection on youth with its different stages: 1. School Trilogy (defiant teenager) 2.Youth Trilogy (adrift youth) 3.WINGS (Temptation and conflict) 4.Love Yourself (self-love). I'm pretty sure you have heard of this. Their last 3 albums talked about the stages of self-love 5. ----- ? That's the next era and we still don't know anything about it (Well, they are giving us hints...but the cripted messages are way too complex LOL. We have pretty smart people in the fandom that make great theories about the storyline If you want to get into their storyline, you should start with I NEED U music video .Original version 19+
@@SC-sh5jw yup. They exaggerated it, but it was still there. It is cool watching the "Making of ____" videos! BTS aren't afraid to show us what happens Behind The Scenes.💜4♾
BTS storyline List of mvs u have to watch in order - I need u original ver 19+ - Prologue (watch till end of credits) - Run (watch till end of credits) - Young forever - Wings short films * in order (begin, lie, stigma, first love, reflection, mama, awake) - blood sweat & tears - blood sweat & tears japanese ver - highlight reel (watch pt 4) (13 mins video) - Euphoria mv (alternate universe of prologue) - Fake Love Recently, bts released a webtoon series titled Save Me. It shows the story. Check it out if u want 😉
Yes I was looking for this comment or I was going to comment this!!! You have to go the down the list starting with I need you original version +19... it still won't make sense but that's why at the end you can read the manga that has just been released to allow it to make sense... it's one massive story 💜💜💜
If you like in depth things then react to Spring Day Music Video & Spring Day Explained. Its a beautiful BTS song that at first thought you have warm feelings about, but when you get into it, one theory is that its about the Sewol Ferry Accident in which 284 lost their lives in which the captain and crew evacuated telling the students to stay apparently.
When introducing BTS we always have to explain so many things, lol. Something you should know, their MVs follows a storyline, honestly is confunsing, I have been in this fandom for years and all we have up until now is theories, J-Hope laying down in that bunch of Snickers is not random or merchandising, in the storyline he was abandoned by his mother in a amusement park with only a chocolate bar. They always throw hints in their MVs and we have to collect the pieces and try to figure out. It started with the MVs I Need U, Prologue, Run, Young Forever and The Wings short films, more content to reactions, if you want to react you have to follow in this order I just said. Maybe you can try and "understand" what is this about too... 😅
Also. In this music video the part where the room crashed inside the room with the member holing onto the decoration case on the floor (Jin), floor was falling and the member was running (Jungkook), the water coming out like a waterfall on both sides of a member (Jimin), and the member who was siting in front of the fire (Suga) was and is real! They wanted to make it real instead of editing the parts in. Except Suga a bit cause they didnt want the flame to actually hurt him. They have a video on it where they do behind the scenes for most of their songs to show how they were produced and it shows in the video. :)
I really recommend you first learn about them a little bit more and then react to the music videos!❤ 1. From nobodies to legends (part 1 and 2) 2. BTS are just people 3. BTS is not a group, its a family 4. BTS hardships 5. Amd for fun: Namjoon being done with members english
one thing u need to bear in mind when watching bts mvs is that they put so much efforts in it so its not just some guys dancing. they re a lot of symbolism, hidden messages, details, emotions so that it matched with the songs. maybe u gonna catch some what? moments when watching them mv haha but later u wl learn abt it.
And they have a storyline in their music videos....everything is connected. So watch music videos in this order to understand (maybe😂cause no one understands): 1. I need U 19+ original version (the lyrics is not connected with music video, it's not about lovestory) 2. On stage: prologue (eng sub) 3. Run 4. Epilogue: young forever 5. Fire 6. Wings 1-7 (eng sub) 7. Boy meets evil 8. Blood, sweat and tears (korean and japanese version) 9. Highlight reel (eng sub) 10. Euphoria 11. Fake love teasers 12. Fake love
Thank you for your reaction! This MV has a lot of references to previous MVs (they have a story line that flows through their music videos starting from Run and I Need U eras) like the rooms they were all in have a certain meaning connected to the plot they have woven through the years. Also, the falling floor and the water are not computer-generated graphics! They're real! There's a behind-the-scenes video for that in their channel. 😊 Also, you can sing! You were singing in tune! And I like your voice. Feature your dog too! ❤ ❤ ❤
“Wow”... “OMG”... this is me watching every BTS MV no matter how many times I’ve seem them before. I know some scenes my look confuse, odd or out of place but it’s actually full of meaning. It’s all part of the Bangtan Universe and there’s so much details and deep meanings behind it all, trust me, it’s mindblowing and you gonna love it! But since you’re new to them just enjoy it and then later I highly recommend you to watch xCeleste timeline and theories videos. Again thank you for another BTS reaction, I love watching people being mesmerized by my babies and you have such a special aura, it makes me happy and excited to see more of your reactions
"What's going on?" - ha, ha... So apart from being part of the ongoing BTS storyline/universe (as other comments have already pointed out) Fake Love is tied into the thematic concept of their Love Yourself album trilogy. The trilogy (which they have created over the last two and a half years) explores different forms of love from romantic love, the dark sides of love (this is were "Fake Love" ties into) to the "epiphany" (song title) that loving yourself first and being true to yourself is the foundation for any kind of love and relationship. Their current album is the last one in that trilogy. So the BTS fans are very excited about BTS's new album, which they are working on at the moment, as it will introduce a new thematic concept. By the way, the dance moves mirror the lyrics and themes of the songs, they aren't just random. They are visual images of the lyrical imagery. Because their work is so compex and artistic, there are numerous fan-made videos on RU-vid trying to decipher meaning and putting things into context (especially for international fans). You just need to type "BTS (song title) explained". BTS music videos are famous for their cinematography. There are also making-of videos for the music videos, which show that they usually use very little CGI.
Just found you, love your reactions. This guys are really good, if only people can look at it without prejudices they would be able to appreciate all their talent, hard work and how they present themselves as artists but also as normal dudes in their 20's, with passions, fears, doubts... relatable. You do that, and that's why I do believe that every army will support you too, good luck with your channel!!
FINALLY a reactor who knows to put the subs on 😂 thank you! I’m really excited to see you get to know BTS more and hope you’ll enjoy the experience! ^^ if you like rap/hip-hop, you should react to the Cyphers, Outro: tear, ddaeng & the raplines solo albums :)
all those flower , candy , water , fire are the symbol which was flowing in BTS storyline you can check FAKE LOVE making with eng sub that was also amazing please react FIRE NOT TODAY SPRING DAY
Love your BTS reactions. It is true, everything they do (like this music video) is better than so much of what is out there in terms of western music. The amount of talent and work they invest is incredible. Glad you are appreciating and enjoying them!!! There are SO MANY great songs. Totally work your way through all their music videos on the BigHit channel!
Just gotta let you know, since you love the shots, everything that's going on in the music videos is made with PRACTICAL EFFECTS and not CGI. If you're curious, watch the behind the scenes/ making of the music video to see how it worked. Great reaction btw. You almost looked overwhelmed by the amazingness of BTS haha~
i really loved your reaction! i could feel your sincerity with no over the top reactions or scripted lines for clout, i really hope you continue to discover BTS and i'm so happy i found your channel! you got a new subscriber!!
You should watch, fire, dope, blood sweat and tears, save me, war of hormone, dna, and idol. They also have dance practices for most of their songs that are unbelievably amazing.
I never feel so blessed watching a reaction. I love yours the most! Because you talked very naturally and honestly sincere. Thankyou ♥️ pls react to bts more. Btw me myself i even feel im too dumb to be in this fandom because BTS, their MV's, all of them have its own theories which is pretty hard to catch the storyline if you watch the video for the first time. As for this fake love, you can see only Jungkook (the one who always running and hold the sand) , he is actually watching all of the members , the pain that they are in , each of them. Thats why you can see him in every member's shots. So actually he is sacrifying himself as a return for their happiness. (More related to a song called "magic shop" composed by Jungkook himself) which you trade your valuable stuff for something in return. The storyline is actually build up from their very first MV. It was connected to every MV and continuing to. The concept is More to love between yourself, friends and family. Very deep. I hope you dont get sick. Theres a lot of theories and will continue to grow more! Good luck 😍
And another great rection!^^ Thumbs up! This song/video means a lot to me, and I was just as impressed as you, when I watched it for the first time. Actually it was the first video/song of BTS I've ever seen/heard i my life. And it changed everything! ;)
thankyou for u r react.. i recomended bts live stage "BTS PERFORM IN MMA(Melon music awards) 2018" Its legend. it s live perform n ofcourse not lipsync..
Thank you for reacting to them and for not judging them beforehand... I really enjoyed your reaction 💜💜 Take care~ For u to know more about them, u should react to: - BTS Nobodies to Legends (pt1& 2) - Introduction to BTS EPISODE 1: Bulletproof (It's a series that give an insight to BTS and the members. They're 8 episodes in total) by gadaursan - BTS is not a group it's a family Since u like rap, you should check out the cyphers and the rappers' their mixtapes to start 😊: - RM has 2: RM and Mono - Suga: Agust D - J-Hope: Hope World
there’s honestly so many connections i didn’t see the first time. so basically there’s a long going storyline in bts, where they have videos/songs dedicated to this story. it’s super long to explain so i’ll just give a lil info: - yoongi/suga has a connection w fire and in the storyline he tries to kill himself w fire (he’s the one sitting in from of the flames) and also has a violent background in the story, so that connects w the part where he throws the guitar at the piano (which in the story, he uses the piano to help him cope w his problems) - hoseok/jhope has a connection w drugs and abuses them as a form of self inflicting pain in the storyline (so where he’s laying in the candy it might indicate him hallucinating or something” - jimin has a connection w water in the storyline and he tries to commit suicide by drowning himself, so this connects to the part where he’s standing in the room w the water pouring into it - jungkook is constantly looking for trouble in the storyline, so i assume him walking into that tunnel is him looking for ways to go against society -taehyung/V killed his abusive father in the storyline so i assume the part where it says “save me” and he’s standing in front of it could indicate his feelings of abandonment and loneliness - rm’s part is a little iffy, but he has a poor background and lives in poverty in the story, but none of the scenes really portrayed that -jin’s parts didn’t portray his part in the story either. jin’s basically the main character of the storyline and often looks at memories and photos of the members he took, apparently. it’s not really known if jin was actually there or if he’s imagining the members, or if he’s reminiscing about them bc they died sorry this is so long but i recommend you just watch the HYYH films to understand it lol, bts and bighit have been using this main concept as a center to all their music and videos, it’s truly amazing!
When you ask if viewers would be interested in you responding to a certain song or type of song: ARMYs answer is always yes! We will gladly watch anything BTS you put out - as long as you are enjoying and giving genuine responses. It makes us feel so good when new people are introduced to this complex and adorable group. If you consider yourself a fan, then you are ARMY, too! They have so much content - don't get overwhelmed. Since you like rap, you might start with the AgustD mixtape, which is Suga's solo effort. (They put out free mix tapes and playlists as solo artists and do solo teasers on albums, but they are always one solid group.) Cyphers 1-4 are the rap line's responses to those haters who said they betrayed hip hop by becoming idols. That is a big theme throughout their work. A masterpiece is Ddaeng - and a companion must-watch is DKDKTV's explanation of the wordplay and cultural references. Another note: if at some point you become dedicated ARMY and you choose to go back to the beginning to follow the mysterious storyline that runs throughout their entire discography, you will be falling down a rabbit hole the magnitude of which you can't even imagine! 💜😄
Thank you so much for reacting to our baby boys. And welcome to the ARMY World. 😊 Please react for more BTS MV’s, Dance Practice and Crack Videos, Individual Introductions and many more. We really appreciate and support those who reacts to our angels. Thank you 😊🙏🏻
You do such a nice job and Andy. Always a nice combination of speaking and staying quiet during the video. So many other reviewers stop the video excessively and overdo the commentary.
YOU HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT THE WHOLE HISTORY THAT GOES THROUGH THE MUSIC VIDEOS AND THEY HAVE NOTES AND A WEBTOON ABOUT IT, PLEASE, JUST WATCH EVERYTHING 💖
Ddaeng live performance is really good if you wanna see the three rappers live, the song has a chill and sarcastic vibe. The lyrics are really great, but considering it's Korean you can't get all the meanings behind the wordplay, so if you listen to "Ddaeng" there is a video by DKDKTV (Ddaeng explained by a Korean) explaining the lyrics.
This is just the third reaction I've watched of yours, and I have to say, as much as you've mentioned dance, you NEEEEED to check out the dance practice to this. (Well I say ALL dance practices, but since you're on this one...) Oh yeah. All dogs go to heaven, and all GOOD dogs watch BTS!
You're reaction is awesome. I love how you actually read the lyrics and REALLY paid attention to the MV. You had me cracking up with "Yo... Get out of there bro!!" 🤣 Welcome to the fandom. I'm gonna binge watch your other BTS reaction videos now. I hit the "like" button and subscribed so don't disappoint. Lol jk jk
If you flip the save me upside down it also says I’m fine and BTS have done song called save me and I’m fine and there a story behind each member in this video
One of my friends is in love with them and I know OF them, but I’ve never really listened/watched them, so this will help me seem like I know what I’m talking about when she brings them up 😂
If you want another pretty and intense MV, you could check out "Blood, Sweat and Tears" MV. BUT from the last video I saw you post, you said you were a huge rap fan, so I recommend you check out some of their rap songs next! The Cyphers series, parts 1-4 are a good place to start, if you haven't heard them yet. I will let you know that despite them being called "cyphers", they don't really fit the textbook definition of a cypher. Just think of them as a rap song collection instead, where they snapped on the rappers/haters that dissed the rapline (RM, J-Jope, Suga) for being idols. There's no MVs, so I suggest using the fan-made color-coded lyric videos for them. Also after you have heard all 4, I then suggest the "BTS Memories Cypher Medley" live performance (that is a mashup of sections of parts 1-3, and the entire 4th part) because it's absolutely lit and does not get as much love as it should. I would honestly suggest it first because it's that amazing, but there's no subtitles and some people prefer knowing what's being said first.
When you get to the rap parts - we say in the ARMY that. RM analyzes the world Yoongi (SUGA) criticizes the world Hoseok (Jhope) visualizes the world you will know why.
if you’re enjoying kpop, nct is also a really cool group that i think is worth checking out. One of the best bts songs i think to see would maybe be their individual stuff too, it shows more of their individual personalities.
that "Save me" written on the wall that when you flipped upside down it read "i'm fine". They have a song called save me and I'm fine. Not only that they have reverse meanings but the lyrics/lines of the songs are flipped in reverse order. Hope you can react to it as well. :)
Hey!! Buddy every BTS video u going to watch and every single scene in video have their meaning saying some thing deep or msg. So there are theories Yessss!!!
Loving your content and personality dude! You should definitely check out the bts dance practises. My favourites are Blood, Sweat and Tears, DNA, and Fire (watch the mv's first though if you haven't already!).
That save me word, if you google the word bts save me word, and turn it upside down will say im fine... it soo sick the way they did it. And they have a save me and im fine music in there album...
There's a plot line that occurs throughout many of their MVs, starting from more than 4 years ago. It's very complicated and involves depression, murder, suicide, drug use and time travel lmao. There used to be alot of theories surrounding it but Bighit has recently released a webtoon and a book that goes through the storyline. (It hasnt fully come out yet) I recommend you first try and watch as many MVs to gain some ideas on it. Don't feel like you have to focus on the plot though, you can just watch them for the fun of it :)) Just thought u should know abt it bc its hella trippy
