18:43 I don't remember everything anymore but I will try to explain. In fake love it is explained that you will loose yourself because you try to be someone else you aren't. They wished for weaknesses to be hidden. Therefore they have fears too. Each Person had an object they traded with a different object. The shopkeeper looked like that guy in fake love with a robe and a mask. They traded an Object that symbolizes their fears with an object that symbolized something happy/hopeful. It is believed/theorized that the guy with the mask is that member who met him (Jungkook) himself. The one with the mask is the Part of him who tries to put on a mask and hide his weaknesses/be someone else. The other one is his true self. The members traded not only the objects (Symbols of their fears) into an object that symbolizes happines (fake happines) but in reality they traded their true selves and turned into the people with balck robes and masks. Edit: In the song "Magic Shop" they traded the objects not in Fake love. But both Songs have a connection.

BTS uses practical effects whether possible. They did do the fire effect practically, but they did enhance it with post-production. (They have behind-the-scenes videos for all of their MVs so you can see how they make them!)

Anyway, there is a lot of imagery that relates to the BU in this video: fire, water, flower, candy, phones. This song was the MV my granddaughters showed me and I fell immediately in the rabbit hole. It doesn’t have to be romantic relationships I dealt with this with family trying to please my parents and never meeting the expectations. This affect me until my adulthood. This song is form their love myself era and was so dynamic in my family. I have the best relationship with my daughter and granddaughters because of BTS. We travel to concerts together 3 generations of ARMY. You will learn them by names soon enough.💜

I love bts they are a 7 member group from south Korea and they do different genre's its all just so incredible. Bts has 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Their fans are called Army we are super active sweet and such incredible people as well. There are guides to help you with who is who and ao much more about the group.

It's a part of a very long and convoluted multiverse story, they even have a mobile game about it (with a great original soundtrack, among which Heartbeat is fans' favourite. It has a great MV too). Once you dive into BTS there's no way getting out. There's more to it than just the music. Min Yoongi aka Suga aka Agust D became who he is thanks to these bois help. They're his brothers. They're family. They been with him through everything and helped him in so many ways. You have to start from the beginning with BTS to see the growth and storyline with these songs.

when i say you shoul watch all their mvs from 2013 to understand what's going on and every little thing in the music videos has a meaning related to each member. they worked really hard on this story line

BTS have really deep and relatable meanings in their songs. That's why we love them so much. They really helped many people overcome really hard times of their life by giving them hope and something to grab on to continue living. I for example was in a really dark place some years ago and I was really unhappy and not knowing how to face it or overcome it and I was feeling really alone. And then I found BTS. And almost immediately I fell in love with ther music and them. They made me happy and helped me love myself. And today four years later I'll still cry with some of their songs and laugh with others. It's like we arre a family. All of us. Armys and BTS.. They say that BTS will find you when you really need them and it's true💜💜💜💜

Yes, the fire and water in this MV are real! There's bts footage of them filming this MV showing it :) BTS is known to mostly use practical effects (meaning non-CGI) in their MVs! Of course, they'll still use CGI and special effects, but they seem to prefer practical effects and I think it stems from the days when the company had very, very little money to spare on MVs and their teams got super creative with it. And it just stuck from then on

i recommend if you reacted to BTS albums from 2013-2022 (last album until their return from the mandatory military service in 2026) to really see their evolution musically and their diverse discography. Also, you'll find many hiphop songs from their early days because they started as a hiphop group. they also have this song called "HIPHOP PHILE" where they pay hommage to rappers who shaped them as artists it's so so good

But you always find your way through their lyrics and accurately interpret them for the most part. This song is about them going through a tough time and pretending in front of ARMY that they were ok even tho they were thinking about disbanding. They felt that doing so they were wearing a mask, hence the "fake love" title
