I'm sorry, but Armys in general are over 40 years old, don't compare BTS and Armys with crazy teenage fans, BTS is far superior than One Direct, yes I like them, but BTS is different, I'm 47 years old and BTS are my foundation, BTS FOREVER 💜😘😄☺️💚💛

The majority of ARMYs are mature people. It's just that you're equating BTS with standard K-pop, which really has more teenage fans. You can't be more confused, but this is normal for people who are just starting to get to know BTS art. I am 51 years old - rock and metal fan. I paid attention to rap precisely because of BTS's rap line. I also find them quite masculine. Makeup is mostly worn during performance and this is normal for the entire industry. These men train for 10 hours every day and are very athletic.

'MIC Drop' was written for fans who communicated to them that they were upset with haters who would constantly bash on BTS for no reason at all. Through this song they are saying that it's ok if they do, BTS is doing great so fans don't need to worry about those sort of people. They don't flex just for the sake of flexing or diss for the sake of dissing, but as a response to the comments people aim at them. They made it from the bottom to the top outside the systems, they've earned their right to brag a little. From using their managers as extras in their MVs because they couldn't afford some to the big budget MVs they can now have because of what they earned, they've come a long way. Throughout that journey, they've always been unapologetically true to themselves. As for make-up - all the people that appear on TV wear it, even a lot of rappers. It's not a big deal, it's just how performers are. In the end, it's all about the music. BTS has a wide variety of age groups and a lot of men as fans too because they make various genres of music. Their biggest demographic is probably people in their 20s and 30s but their fan base goes as far as people in their 70s. I would recommend you listen to 'UGH!' (use the video 'UGH! | BTS (방탄소년단) English Lyrics' by DIAL 6137 for good translation) without prejudice and with an open mind. This is a song by the 3 rappers of the group. If it's still not for you, maybe BTS isn't for you. But I absolutely love them and deeply appreciate the impact they have had on my life.

This is actually a direct message to their haters.
@suga_rush
@suga_rush 19 дней назад
@@btsarmybangtan2025 Yes, it is a message to the haters and it is what they want to say to them. But there is a reason why they chose to do it in this style instead of being angry. There is an RM live (171007) where he spoke about it - "Based on what I read in the letters from our fans or what they told us. 'When people criticize you guys without a reason, and make fun of you, what should I do? I feel so angry'. Our fans told us such things a lot. I don't know. I think I have to listen to criticism more carefully. Because no one in the world is perfect. There is no one who is perfect. If you believe you're always right, you'd become dogmatic. That's why we always have to be open to constructive criticism. But as for those who criticize or mock us, I feel sorry for them because there are so many good things out there in the world. So many good things to see and hear. Life is too short to appreciate those things. But when people behave rudely and threaten others, I just...You can think of "MIC Drop" in that case." He goes more into detail about how the song came about and all the other tracks on the album. I highly recommend watching that live.

@@suga_rush I am very aware that BTS use their music to respond to haters, instead of responding directly with anger. It's their outlet to focus their energy into their music. It could be said this was written for their fans, but I don't see any mention of their fans in this. It's a message to their haters. Maybe it's to show their fans that they can take care of it. I've seen RM's posts
@suga_rush
@suga_rush 18 дней назад
@@btsarmybangtan2025 Wait, our wires are getting crossed. I'm just providing context for the song, not saying that it is about fans or that it mentions fans. I'm saying exactly what you are saying - it is written with ARMY's concerns on their minds, but it is a message to the haters. I think I wrote it in a confusing way. When I say 'angry', I mean it is not angry like a lot of their other songs directed at haters but more swaggy. Because they said they didn't feel angry when they were writing this. I like both these approaches, because they are both authentic.

Comfort with yourself and your masculinity, without feeling threatened by your judgement of anyone else’s masculinity/femininity and cultural norms is a path worth taking. When you comment on your judgement of the relative masculinity of another person, it says much more about you than it does them. When you are comfortable with yourself, you do not feel the need to judge others. May you embrace your whole self, and become more comfortable with being you, in all your expression of gender characteristics. Performers on stage wear make-up. That is show business. If you think the facial features of other races are not attractive, that says a lot about you. Enjoy your journey.

No no no boy, leave the prejudices, that speaks ill of you, be intelligent and take care of what you say from your ignorance, you say that you are an artist, then you should know that makeup is used by all artists for videos and presentations, but still Without makeup they are attractive, feminine you say? Noooo, they are quite masculine, BTS is simply art, but BTS is for educated and intelligent people. ARMY, we are their fans worldwide, not only in Korea, and most of us are over 30 years old, make no mistake.

58 year old ARMY and music lover here. BTS are amazing and talented lyricists, rappers, singers, and dancers. BTS fanbase is Global and very diverse. Move on if it doesn't make you comfortable. BTS write their own lyrics, produce their own music, and are in control of their own careers. They debuted in 2013 as a HIP HOP IDOL group in South Korea. They are the biggest most successful group in South Korea and the world right now. They have been for years. If you decide to move forward with BTS reactions, you might want to lighten up on the feminine vs masculine etc. Different cultures and all. All seven members have successful solo careers as well. In the US and Globally. Here is a medley. BTS ROOM LIVE #2021BTSFESTA (with fansubs) - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--J-IM2hLBUc.htmlsi=E67t_qkG82jlN30Q

Mic drop is part of love yourself series. They have 3 albums about love yourself. They were also invited to speak at the UN about that topic. It's 2024 son and you still wanna talk about makeup?. Everybody appear on tv wears makeup. You need to achieve certain look. Btw, artists have been wearing makeup since ancient times😅. Actually, only 25% of their fans are below 20yo plus i don't think those screaming teenagers helped them sell out wembley stadium in just 90 minutes in 2019. They sold out sofi stadium in just 20 minutes in 2022. Do the math. p/s i was also 17....back in 1989🤣🤣

Thank you for a reaction. I think you should upgrade your thinking about "girls/boys" and appearances, masculinity/feminity, there are both cultural and individual preferences, boys can be beautiful and talented. Of cause there is a matter of taste as usual. I hope everyone can express own individuality the way one prefer. In a k-pop culture / or industry artists are often not just singers, they are performers and entertainers, it is a tough place to be. I wish them all lots of support to living the dream, which is hard work, pressure, expectations and joy too.

30 year old guy ARMY here. TBF, you do realize that most of the rappers you watch in thier MVs are wearing make-up, most get stage make-up too. Anyone who is on screen has make-up on and I think you'll find most people who go on stage are wearing make-up too. It may be your opinion, but because you put it out there- people are allowed to comment on it. They're pointing out that it's an archaic way of thinking and they're not wrong. But that's you're journey to have. The "do they like men" thing was, in my opinion, a strange comment to make. It's a song addressing haters, there's nothing about their romantic ideations in it and it would make zero sense in this song contextually. Thank you for checking them out though.

@CREEACTION.3 the only thing is there is a difference between preferences and discrimination on looks just by being a bit judgemental towards others like I understand not everyone will like bts or their music but to say about the makeup and them looking feminine which bts doesn't tolerate discrimination you need to get to know them better as individuals so I'd suggest watch taylor Mari guide to bts it will help you understand so much and the rise of bangtan series 💜 I hope you learn from this and I really hope you open your mind about alot of things such as guys wearing makeup cause there are bts fans who are grown men and who love these guys and they don't say anything about the makeup bit even if they do they push past it cause they learn so much from guides and such maybe that's what you need to do.
