“As long as we still write the lyrics, write the melodies, and put our truth and sincere minds into the music, then whatever it sounds like, it’ll always be BTS.” - Namjoon My favorite quote from this interview.
"I advise you to not take too seriously every comment on the internet. People can criticize for various reasons; maybe they're jealous or have different tastes from yours. You'll loose want you to want to do if you try to satisfy everyone" - wise words from Jin🥺
I think it's also a note to ARMYs to not engage with antis. People will think what they want. If it doesn't bother BTS, we shouldn't let it bother us. Especially because we know the truth about who BTS are as people.
@@singularityjackson nope...it had a deep meaning..evn though he in his own place he needs to find a true one..! It could mean spiritually or in his music career like he is in BTS bt yet to find his true self...
From all the series of their movie's I have watched , the mini interview's in between where all ans some questions, I found RM n Suga to have spoken in a mature way , the others no doubt did justice to their questions n aswered truthfully...these two have my ❤️ on that!
"Because I'm only human, there were times in my life when creating music was so painful, but I kept persevering, it made me realize how much I love making music" - Min Yoongi
oh hell seokjin saying don't think too much is actually a good advice some people over think way too much and start getting miserable in their own heads.
Everytime Namjoon opens his mouth I am floored by his intelligence.Expressing yourself is not easy and is even more difficult when done in your second language .
That's true though.. I better take those words. I heard a lot of people tell that. But Jin was so wise and now I'll take those words he said to heart and I'll do what I really want to do and not satisfy other people just to for them to feel pleased because that's not gonna make me happy. I want to do something I love to do. :")
Great interview and great answers! My takeaways: J-hope: Had too much caffeine today 😳 V: Needs more caffeine 🙁 Jin: Always has the best perspective on real life and stays true to himself 🥰💜
This was such a great interview! Western media tends to sensationalize BTS as some phenomenon that came out of nowhere when, in fact, they are very insightful individuals who are highly involved with their music. From songwriting, composing, and producing, each member has grown musically over the past 7+ years, and it’s been fascinating to see their journey both as a group and as individuals.
🐯: "I recently started reading a book. It's called 'I am home but I still want to go home'. It has a lot of comforting and relatable messages." "I only read the cover though" eye-😭
@@sampadathapamagar1543 by “ARMY”, they were talking about passionate fellows who stay loyal and support them despite the hardships they’ve gone through if u get what I mean
Jin knows and understands English - though not as fluent as RM but enough to converse - so RM worry less about him among the members. JHope on the other hand, has a good pronunciation and can perfectly sing in English (closer to that of Jungkook's) While V is still learning
*Q: A pro tip that u apply to ur work?* Jin: This isn't necessarily a tip but I advice u to not take every comment on the internet too seriously. People can criticize for many reasons; maybe they’re jealous or have different tastes from yours. You’ll lose what u want to do if u try to satisfy everyone.
BTS is so wholesome. He’s like our philosophical friends that love to goof around, kind and always striving to better themselves and always there for us and will scold us while having big smile on their faces while ruffling our hair when we messed up😢
V once said in their talk in Bangtan Attic in BangtanTV... " Do you remember those one nice guy in your class in school? Living with the members is like having that one nice guy in every class grouped together." Yeah... They are that nice, kind and mindful not only to the fans, staffs, family and friends but mostly towards one another. 💜
@FATHIN NUR AISYAH BINTI EZANI Moe yesssss Jhope is always so extra I love him so much😂 and V’s sense of humor it’s on another level, I was laughing so hard I had to pause the video😂😂
In every interview where yoongi gets serious questions about music you can clearly see in his answers how much he loves music and how insanely passionate he is about it, since day one he shows that music is truly everything to him. He is absolutely amazing.
When asked what their inspiration is: “There’s no better source than the Mother Nature” Joon really is our nature boy, that’s our Namujoon 💜 Also, flashback to him writing the masterpiece that is Spring Day cos he saw leaves falling in a park! 🍃🌸
@You my love I don't think you understand、that's Jimin’s personality. I've been an Army since 2016 so I know that he's like that、but that doesn't mean he's attention seeker.
@You my love 1) he’s just like that, that’s his personality,he laughs at everything J-hope does as well. 2) we don’t know everything about their relationship, there could be a lot of inside jokes between them that we can’t understand but what I’ve observed from only being an army for 4 months, Jimin is closest to Tae, he often laughs at things Tae says or the way he says things.
@@veeeeeeee7467 Yup that's his personality. And all of them are very closed to each other like brothers, and you are right there's a lot of inside joke for sure.
@@maryread2447 I forget where and who said it but one of the members said jimin laughs a lot specially these days, like someone will just make a funny face and he'll laugh and they don't even understand what's funny but he loves it..
I love how Yoongi answers questions about music. You can just see how much music means to him. He is such an inspirational, thoughtful, wise and hard working human being. Whether he talks through his music or just in conversations his words are so interesting and always lead me to reflect
Jin: I advise you not to take too seriously every comments on internet. People criticize for many reasons, maybe they're jealous or have different taste from yours. You'll loose what you want to do if you try to satisfy everyone.💜💜
bruhh they litterally have already the things to say. They don’t know more less nothing about English ahahah. I think someone writed for them and they memorized their part like in the video about COVID-19
@@stefaniaakpama3744 just because they wrote it down beforehand doesn’t mean it’s not their answers 🙄 they might’ve wrote it down because they’re not very fluent in English and didn’t want to forget the answers halfway.
11:30 I recently started a book. It's called "I am home but I still want to go home". It has a lot of comforting and relatable messages. I only read the cover though. Lmao tae is such a mood
Some might consider their talk as something really simple, but it's in those simple things that you find what you need. For example, Namjoon said we should try many things until we find our way meanwhile Jimin said he'd rather focus on getting better at what things, and guess what ?! Both are valid!! I'd like to share my experience back in my teenage years where one of my music teachers told me, in front of everybody, "your voice is too low for to be pretending to reach the high notes. I'd rather have you doing back vocals/supporting vocals". He did NOT mean it in a bad way, but everyone started laughing at me saying he absolutely roasted me and that he was right. So i tried singing in a low voice, learn how to harmonise to support the lead vocals. BUT that did nit stop me from practicing my falsetto and high notes. And now i can do both, better than I did a few years ago. If BTS has taught me anything, is that preserverance is key. Hoseok said it: you can not learn if you don't fail. Sometimes its gonna be a success, sonetimes it won't. I hope each one of us learn from these simple tips
Wow, thank you for sharing your experience. I catch them like its okay to explore many area of expertise, but once you find what fits you, go deep about it. The meaning can be different to each people, i see. And i love how they put it in simple words. They dont need to talk in difficult words, spinning around to project that they are an expert. It would be more meaningful once they can say it with simple and straight answer.
That's y I love these kind of interviews where I can literally note down each n every thing that they talk abt coz it's really deep & helpful not just for aspiring musicians but for youth in general 💜
To understand jin's lines you have to think harader because his sense of humour is on another level and .....his English improved most in this lockdown with hobi😉
"eating delicious food really lifts my mood" Tae is such a mood its everything and the fact that he keeps a straight face is hilarious and how is he so breathtaking
This is a good interview. I really loved Yoongi, Joon and Jin's answers. They always give good advices, not just to aspiring musicians, but about life in general.
RM: our music is always abt the crossover, transcending, and breaking borders, languages. As long as we still write the lyrics, write the melodies and put our truth and sincere minds into the music, then whatever it sounds like, it would always be BTS.
I love how j-hope always agrees and give affirmation whenever a member talks. In every interview, it the one thing I look forward to hearing. J-hope: mmhmmm~
yoongi has always been such a hard-worker, the amount of songs he worked on this year alone is unreal and he just constantly keeps improving himself, creating new music, picking up new hobbies, pushing his boundaries. he inspires me every day with his words and actions.
Finally an interview that showcases BTS intellectual value and musical talent! But also the versatility of its fandom ARMY. We're not just a teen fandom with a crush on a 'boy bad'. We stan insightful and brilliant individuals/artists that touch societal issues. Thank you for this.
Jin's comment about not taking criticism from weirdos on the internet makes me happy. I hope the people who think they have the right to say "they went downhill after WINGS" or "I won't bother listening to their old kiddy stuff" take note. BTS have never and will never sacrifice what they love to appeal to others, especially when the game has been rigged against them since their debut. It's extremely insulting to say "they're getting too westernized" when in fact it's the opposite (since they started with hip hop, you can't get any more western than that). It's insulting to think that their experimentation with new genres is them trying too hard to be pop or to say that their older works were unrefined just because they worked out of a garage. They worked super hard for all of their music regardless of era. And same goes for those so-called professional reviewers who skim thru tracks or don't listen in the first place, and definitely don't read the lyrics or know the history because it's obvious. Just because you don't like a certain genre or didn't bother reading the lyrics or didn't understand the complexity and depth behind what they do, it doesn't mean that what they did was bad. BTS don't need kpop stans on their tails for their newer music, western stans on their tails for their older music, the xenophobic industry on their tails for doing things that are both mainstream and alternative, because at the end of the day, these people are all haters who don't know what they're talking about, and their criticism is literally meaningless (and often rooted in jealousy & xenophobia). BTS are true artists and if you want to speak on them, then treat them like that.
This this this like 5000 per cent! You don't have to like them, but respect their hard work... they are NOT automatically worse because they don't sing in English, media please get rid of your racism and entitlement 🙄 and remember you are talking about human beings who get hurt like any others so be kind! ❤❤
Not only BTS's music, but even the members as a person is a source of inspiration. This was an inspiring and informative interview, thanks Prudential Center.
i think jins advice is also aimed at army and about how we engage with each other and with antis of course. if someone isn't our opinion we attack mostly, but really we should just ignore
What Jin said is totally correct, ignore all the unnecessary comments, and never try to change ourselves to satisfy other's. SeokJin oppa your advice is the best 💜
@@uzmahussain8714 that's the best thing cause , they just want attention, and if we see i hate cmt fill with 100 of Postive cmt so that that hate cmt couldn't be found
