It’s a special song written by the rapline in their pre debute days. It’s about how the satoori ( dialect) differ throughout Korea. All the members are actually not from Seoul (capital) and come from different provinces. So you can see them sing and rap in satooris. Suga and V in Daegu satoori, Jimin and Jungkook in Busan satoori, J Hope in Gwangju. RM and Jin didn’t particularly speak in satoori because they lived closer to Seoul, but they are in the song! It’s fun!!!

I'm pretty sure at least one or two others will most likely mention it too. I'm so glad you guys include "I Like It." That's not one that commonly gets a lot of attention. 19:48 bts always experimented with genres , they haven't changed much as you can see their B-side i like it is Completely different from we are bulletproof pt2 . The only thing that really changed is their Main Title Tracks , they instead of focusing on the raps switched to focusing on vocals , so basically all they did was switch their vocal based b-sides to become Title Tracks , and they most definitely still have hiphop based b-sides till this day.
BTS has one of the best rapline in kpop. All 3 rappers has very unique style. You can check out cypher 1-4, ugh, ddaeng. It's sad you couldn't understand the lyrics for no more dream😭they are subtitles for stage performance video. Looking for forward for next BTS content 💜
They've never left their Hip Hop And R&B roots they just like to use all the different genre's and mixing them the way they want. They are 7 and so they'll have similar and different tastes in music. In fact RM used to make them mixed tapes of different genre's of music for the Vocalist to listen to in order to understand music even further. What he did is now something that the company does it exposes it's artists to different types of music as part of their training.

Bang PD and the team realised fairly early that the decision to be traditional hip hop only wasn't going to work as well as he'd first hoped... so he wanted the group to be themselves... remembering that back then, most were still mid to late teens... (dropping the 2yrs off their Korean age to international - I'm sure it's been explained a gazillion times already... ) I'm excited for you to go through the stages of their growth and development.. and by watching TROB you will see just how hard they all worked... That's how you know they're good. No matter how cringe the MV's look now (It always amazes me how wild 2013 was, haha), the music is still really good. The lyrics and the beats are good enough to stay relevant. I discovered them 6 months ago, and I was so surprised by how much I like most of their songs, even the earlier ones, because I've always been rather picky about what I listen to. And even their love songs are nice and not boring. And you guys' opinions are always nice to hear. Most Armys have a bias and a bias wrecker, don't worry, haha. What is great is that most people either chose a member they admire for a specific reason or because they can relate to them more than the others. My bias is Suga because we are extremely similar as people so I particularly relate to his lyrics and music, and he helped me fully accept who I am and love myself. Funnily enough, I really disliked him at first because of how similar we are, haha. I used to think he was boring and uninteresting because that's how I used to view myself. And my bias wrecker honestly changes regularly because I just love them so much individually. My bias wrecker might as well be OT6. But it settled on Jin recently 💜

@Big Body & Bok Entertainment, OK I’m surprise that nobody has told you to go to Doolset/Bangtan to Google it. And the fan lyric video was 100% incorrect! For accurate lyrics if you go to this which I suggested you could watch the music video on one screen or you can go on your Computer or laptop and do a split screen where you can have the music video and the lyrics pulled up then you can read and watch and pause whenever you need to. That’s just a suggestion but you’re not going to get the actual lyrics from their older Music videos they’re not going to be accurate even from there main channel. Without the correct English subtitles you guys are missing so much of the Content of what they are singing about or rapping about because 9 times out of 10 BTS rap and sing about important subjects! it's still shocked me when i watched their early songs just think that some of the members were still in high school and jungkook just 15 there AND he is the main vocalist, rapper and center of the group in such a young age always amazed me. that's a lot of pressure for a 15 yo boy to carried. and all the members were still young at that time too but super mature and very talented. i love them so much😭💜 btw recommend you guys watch their dance practice too and thanks for BTS reaction !
Someone probably mentioned but for early bts videos MV 1thek has the translations and for other (bangtan bombs and interviews) bangtan subs (both are youtube channels) have translations.
As cringe as the old MVs are, I still love watching them. I remember back in 2018/2019, BTS reacted to some of their old videos from their debut era and they were cringing so hard lol. But they are fun to watch because it makes them more relatable. They didn't have the money to buy cool clothes for themselves or make a high quality MV like the groups from big companies, but they used their talent and hard work to grab the attention of the audience. Their music was great, their choreos were eye catching, their group chemistry literally jumped off the screen and they did their best with the little resources that they had.
😃I turned up in 2020, and I'm still finding old videos of the guys that I haven't seen. The fact Army has developed amazing content for new Army is so great, and I appreciate it. Their trainee days and debut is explained by the 'Rise of bangtan' chapters and I'm so grateful for the hard work put into them.
BTS Hiphop days stayed until 2015 after releasing I NEED YOU, SAVE ME, Dope, and Fire for which Album they their first MAMA Daesang (Major Award) for Album of the Year in 2016 got . In 2016, they release their solo Spring Day and Album which started their KPop domination in Asia and having the Blood Sweat and Tears that which won their first MAMA Aristist of the Year and MMA Album of the Year in 2017, respectively. There after, BTS was unstoppable and released several Albums which contains Fake Love, DNA, Idol, MicDrop, Microcosm, Magic Shop, Euphoria, Boy with Love which gave them grandslam win for major awards from MAMA and MMA from 2017-2022. In 2017, they were invited to BBMA. In 2018 they performed Fake Love at the AMA and Boy with Love at BBMAs. In 2019, BTS was invited by the Grammy's to perform with NAS. In 2021, they won AMA as thr Artist of the Year and Best Duo Group. In 2021-2022, they wete nominated at the Grammy's for Best Duo/Group. BTS had to venture for solo career in 2023 due to their impending Military enlistment. BTS did not want to release songs or album or do concert tour with the abaence of 1 member. So that they decided to release solo albums in 2023 through which you were introduced to JK. JK's solo releases in 2023 was intentionally done and produced by foreign or Amercan producers to cater to BTS international Army. Hooray to JK, he made it! 🎉 JK being the youngest, BTS favors him the most by his Hyungs (elder brothers in BTS) so that they allow him to do whatever he wanna do and support him all the way. The BTS hyungs and ARMY have doted on JK with loving care to compensate him with his lost youth. JK started a Bighit trainee at 13, became BTS at age 14 and debuted at age 15. Only BTS and ARMY know this. Unlike JK who target the international market, all other BTS members produced their solo album or songs to cater to their intended market and, even their Album or songs were selective in terms of audience, all of them got their songs on BB 200 and BB Hot 100. The funny thing is Jimin's melancholic album Face which includes his song Like Crazy and (Korean Version) became the first BTS solo song that reached No. 1 at BB Hot 100 replacing Miley Cyrus but only for one week because it was suddenly removed by BB after applying its new rules resulting in the removal of Jimin's Like Crazy from BB Hot No. 1. Unfortunately, ARMY, after persistent query, BB explained that Like Crazy was covered by the new rules and, more sadly, ARMY got the respond only when Jk's Seven was about to be released.Had ARMY knew of the sudden change in the rules they could have let Like Crazy stay no. 1 at BB Hot 100 until release of JK's Seven (2 months after Like Crazy). To date, Like Crazy is still charting in all BB platforms.

If you want to react to old BTS MV with correct captions you'll have to watch it on 1theK RU-vid channel since they used that platform as well... Remember that RU-vid channel is use mostly by companies without much reach since that one is big on subscribers. Normally groups in little companies divide their MV in 2, one for their official channel and one for 1theK hoping to let more ppl listen to their music... Up to 2015 they did that and the 1theK videos where normally the ones with more views back then
1TheK is the best place to get correct English Captions of BTS older songs. Until last year (I think) BANGTANTV used to listed a link to 1TheK on their channel. So they are acknowledged as being pretty good.

The best BTS songs you can listen to are those songs without music videos..those are song for their fans..don't get me wrong, their videos hit but the b-sides just hit different.
As always, love your reaction. Getting the right and best translations are always a challenge when first getting into their lyrics but you were great in realising that what you had wasn’t right. Doolset is a good bet and I think based on my experience of your other reactions you will find them worthwhile pursuing
19:42 you're correct 👍🏻 they've dabbled a lot over the years musically. i think their pop singles always perform exceptionally well which is why they keep getting boxed in that pop image😭 but id say only two members actually have pop preferences. what they do as a group, is lean into few's strength and have the others meet eo at a centre point so their output is always smth fresh from their last release. for eg, the early albums arent jin/taehyungs vibe AT ALL, but theyre the raplines strength or the three english singles arent raplines but deffo jungkook and jimins strength, the rest just adapt and evolve with the direction. they've ALWAYS hopped genres so its hard to say its growth exactly but theyve finessed their craft over the years for sure. even their personal solo releases do not sound like eo ir their own prev solo release😭...theyre a whole mixed basket sksjsjsksk i wont say their musical direction/growth is linear but more....offshoots converging to find a common musical color🤌🏻 Which is why youll often find drastic takes in the fandom (inevitably in ur comment section too dkdhdjd we ARE annoying, apologies in advance) on their musical direction. like u said there's deffo people who ADORE this era and the songs that dabbled into these beats and HATED the pop singles(which I personally loveeeee 😂) and consequently their choices(when its none if their biz really) but then im not too loyal to a genre so idrc which genre its made in, as long as i enjoy the song. they still have several tracks that have this hiphopy color in their latest albums too, so idk why people cry sm over them doing some mainstream stuff(it's totally up jks alley too) its simply one of the many genre hops of their long ass journey 🤷🏻♀️ im a pop girlie so i personally enjoyed that they let some pop-py influences in over the years ngl😭🤲🏻

I totally get ya 18:00 bts covers A LOT of genres over the years considering the members personal tastes are so so varied, its impossible that you'll like every single one. just mention what you liked as yall did with Like, so we know which categories to filter out and which ones to rec. like, i know a LOT of ARMYs really like a lot of their deep lyric heavy songs - the ones that are just rapped over a beat or cleverly cloaked under a fun choreo or happy tune, i personally do too tbh, but i also understand that a lot of newbs need to grow into it. thankfully bangtan has range and has fun vibey bops to sad contemplative tunes to emotive themed songs to choose from, just mention the tyoe you want recced🫡
This are their first songs, from first EP 2cool4skool. Mini album literally made by teenegers with some help...with tjis 3 songs you literally heard 80% of EP. They really go hard then but it also bc they had a lot to proof, or they feld they had, like you sew backlash, what people were talking about bc they go with hip hop. Of course they changed, they grow up, get older, wanted to try different styles, changes are needed. But also after what 4 albums they saw that they had to make some changes bc one you can't stay the same especially with theirs age when started and growing into industry, and different styles musicaly and preferences, to simply try things, but also to get more new fans, to have more to offer, etc ... Yeah they saw that they were a little to stuck on formula they had, and decided to change a tone a little and try different things, but still have hip hop as core, and it paid off, not to say give them more freedom, bc they saw they got new fans and didn't lost old ones bc of changes, that let them to grow musicaly even more, and most important they could go on, bc at that time after 4 albums before 6 they actually were close to bancrupsy and this was theirs literally last shot, if they didn't do good then tgey wpuld have to let go of BTS. And tgen "I need u" come out and it really hit off and give them a change to go on. When you get to part about "I need u" in Rise of bangtan, they don't talk about it in this series (it is around 7 episode, I'm not sure) how bad financial situation was. It was theirs be or not to be. There was a lit bad going that Rise to bangtan don't talk about, I think also bc it was to much and too depresing if every bad things was included, so the choice was made to show some little things.
Hmm in general old kpop songs didn't have CC, it come later to always post ones and then companies go back and add to older ones but yeah first 3 MV don't have yet them on their channel (also bc then kpop band posted MV on "1thek" and there are cc) but don't worry this two songs and "N.O." don't have CC, rest MVs has them...
Bangtan subs has BTS MV’s with subtitles. Of course there aren’t many songs on the official channel that don’t have subs now except for their earliest stuff. I can't wait to see you guys react to songs from their Love Yourself albums (released between 2017 to 2018). They are probably some of the vibiest (is that a word lol?) songs in their discography. I also can't wait to see you guys react to their solo music. They started including solo songs for each member starting from their album Wings in 2016. Since then, they have released a lot of solo songs in the BTS albums. The rappers have also released solo mixtapes. Of course now that they have all made their official solo debut, they have been putting out a lot of solo music in their own name too.

there are songs early on with the captions, but they are not the hybe ones. This is the first yr they debuted. so CC was not felt like it was needed. Pretty Woman is included in a festa melody I don't remember which festa, ARMY, Help! LOL.

So i looked it up for you guys and they don't start putting English subtitles til "Boy In Luv" MV. So "No More Dream", "We Are Bulletproof pt2" and "N.O." don't have translations. We should be good after N.O. I wish Hybe would go back and add English subtitles to them. But yet til than, there are other who add English subs, and also as someone already mentioned Doolset in a great place to look up lyrics too. Also, just to comment able your ending comments. The guys went through a lot of changes as they gained more experience. But at the same time instead of letting go of hip hop and rap, they added to it. Which is one of the reasons i love their albums. It one album you can get Hip Hop, Rap, R&B and Pop. They were able to make what they have even better as time went on.
All of the very early Bangtan MV's were only eng subbed on 1TheK channel as it was the official MV release channel at the time. They can still be found on there through search. Idk why but Hybe have never bothered to update them on their own official channel even with the hugs rise in BTS popularity and views. :( Anyways just remember no subs on Hybe (check 1TheK)
For these Early BTS videos, you could just do the colour coded ones. They are really good for beginners, since they highlight wich member is doing wich part. There are few that has minor mistakes, but overall, theyre correct. Theres one colour coded lyric video channel, that all ARMYs should avoid and thats a channel called Jaeguchi. In the past, he was able to modify and scam the copyright claims so that instead of them going to Bighit and BTS, he was able to get payed from doing these lyric videos for BTS. He was already caught, so he isnt able to monetize any of his videos anymore(at least wasnt when i checked last time over a year ago), but still, Dont use his channel. I cannot watch people reacting to something, while watching auto-generated captions and thinking they are correct.😂 Always Double check the availability for captions, if theres none, do the lyric videos and usually, if people are curious to find more contex to the lyrics, you can Google Doolset BTS and you will be able to go through any of their lyrics, and get them explained as well.
