Hello, I recommend Lyri Onni here on RU-vid, she is korean and speaks in Spanish, but you can put subtitles in English so you understand her because she explains BTS videos very well, and what she explains about on is really excellent.

I know the MV is amazingly done. And it does have a lot of references to different movies and theories. But I personally prefer the ON Kinetik manifesto, just because it's stripped down to the camera movements and the dancing.

Agreed. I much prefer the Kinetic Manifesto Film version You can really appreciate the rhythm, the beat, their amazing voices, and the lyrics. It is much easier to understand the meaning behind the lyrics without the distraction of the, admittedly beautiful, MV. But the MV's meaning is, I think, different to the song itself. Or perhaps it adds a secondary meaning to the song. Either way, I love the song. It's in my top 5 BTS songs.💜

No the tattoo on V is fake the member who have a real tattoo is JUNGKOOK has a FULLSLEEVE TATTOO and JIMIN have 4 different tattoo on his body if I'm not mistaken

Please watch and react to the 18 min commentary film on how this song was produced. The video is very important to understanding what all went into the making of this amazing song...it's entirely in English and based in LA. It features the instrumentalists and gospel choir performing in the studio...they really worked to fill in this song and give it a marching band sort of feel. The video particularly show us just how much BTS has been influencing the U.S. and how much respect these people have for BTS and what they do. Regarding “On”, there’s no justice to their performance without watching the other official MV “Kinetic manifesto”. It is the choreography version and ARMY LOVES it! The dancing is obviously spectacular as well as the camera work . Again, I think the best live performance is probably the Jimmy Fallon at Grand Central Station. I know you were concerned about it being blocked but the version you reacted to here was blocked as well.

Really suggest watching ON explanation by DKDKTV! Its an mv that is based on Carl jungs psychoanalysis, this album was based on his division of archetypes of human psyche. This vdo also has several pop cultural references like the pride rock from lion king, birdbox, maze runner

The ON mv is so packed with symbolism that it can be quite overwhelming. That's why ARMY tends to recommend the Kinetic Manifesto version which is more about the amazing choreography. 💜

No More Dream was the title of their Debut MV, and is an absolutely incredible song - very different from their later works. It's heavy on the hip hop. But even back then, theirs was Music With Meaning. A strong, and important message, not just for the youth it was initially aimed at. No More Dream is in my top 10 BTS songs.💜

Knowing this was gonna be the last comeback before pandemic hit. This is the continuation from black swan where they're afraid and dead. In ON they said they are not afraid and will face it all, from the movie you could see that they are like the bird jin held. They became alive again after dead (jk too), with no fear anymore.

Love your reactions. 💜 It would be a good idea to put a community post when you have decided on something and we can suggest the best. BTS are best no matter when, but still some go above. For ON, out of the 2 MVs the better one would be the ON Kinetic Manifesto as it would not cause confusion. Out of the several live performances, the one at Grand Central in New York for the Jimmy Fallon show is the best.

Jungkook hit a F5 with that high note it's the most impossible note a male singer can hit my sister was a vocalist teacher and she told me all this and Jungkooks voice is a powerful tool for sure. She told me it's not easy for a male singer to hit that high of a note but then we're talking about jungkook lmao such an incredible man he is.

I found this song not long after discovering BTS last year, it is still one of my favorites. I honestly have a problem recommending it, only because I never can decide if they should watch the mind blowing MV or ON Manifesto. And yes watch the Fallon one, it is awesome.
