PRIMAL! Yes! That's a great word for this. No bells and whistles, just music and dancing. FYI, they had the UCLA Bruins marching band, jazz group, and a gospel choir on this, along with The Lab, who are the dancers. The choreographer from the lab is Sienna Lalau, who is NINETEEN. She also created choreo for their Dionysus performance. Part of what I love about BTS is that they are always exploring, changing things up. They're always willing to try something new, and they aren't stuck in any box of genre or expectation. It's part of what makes them so big, imo. Thanks for the reaction!
They are very versatile. I never know what they’re gonna come out with. All their songs are connected to a larger story connected with the short films they act in. Also comeback trailers are full songs. Tho not all songs are part of their storyline. They are amazing live. Love your reaction 😂
True,im an army since 2015 when "dope" came out i thought their songs would be all edm kind of thing but then i was looking for another songs there are "i need you" and songs in their album like "tomorrow", "spine breaker" etc, its like they created a lot of genres in one album. Then i follows their comebacks since then until now. Trap edm vibes on "fire", korean traditional instruments on "idol", classical genre with violins on "black swan", and now marching band backsounds with "ON" ??? Its always a surprise
14 Things in Kinetic Film BTS ON 1. ON Take reference from N.O in 2013. jungkook says that ON is a reflection of N.O and shows how far they have grown in the group 2. This reference can be seen from the outfit color palette they use. Same as black and white 3. Jimin and V use a compact white outfit, this gives a hint on their duet song on Map of the Soul: 7 with the title Friends 4.4. The making of the Kinetic Manifesto Film involved many parties, between the dance group The Lab and the famous Marching band The Blue Devils 5. There is a girl dancer who first appears to be the Scene Stealer. He is Sienna Lalau, he was also involved when composing DIONYSUS's choreography 6. This MV takes place in Spulveda California. This is a dam to hold flood water in winter. 7. Vibe from ON is very similar to Not Today, when BTS forms formation with background dancers. 8. Tattoo on the V neck shaped cracks inspired by the poster Black Swan 9. Tattoo on V's face with the words "The Shadow Like Me", it seems he took a reference from Suga's Interlude: Shadow 10. BTS is still working with art director Lumpens. He succeeded in making every MV BTS like a work of art. from MV Boy With Luv, Spring Day, Fake Love and Blood, Sweet and Tears 11. Before the bridge part, all members seem to line up in sequence with their age 12. Powerful jumps made by Jimin turned out to be also in MV N.O 13. I do not know whether this includes theory as well, in the formation where the BTS, dancer and Marching band looks like a snake's head, Jimin and V act as fangs 14. They are lined up facing the back and embracing each other shows that they will always support and support each other
There is like a dance practice of this, its just them, no back up dancers and filmed from a simple angle. The video os practically a one take. Also there is a video commentary film, amazing!!! You should react to that too. And they are going to be on The tonight show with jimmy fallon on Monday!!
@@mikodebrum05 op is talking about their Speak Yourself tour last year. you can check out Rose Bowl tickets for the new tour map of the soul to see if any are available
Sunshine Hobi resales are extremely over priced so my advice if you’re planning on buying tickets is to wait closer to the date since resellers will lowers the prices
Juliet Gonzalez oh ok I will do that, cos I was checking Ticketmaster and it’s said that the both dates for Rose Bowl are sold out and also said to check again soon, so that’s why I ask ahah, but I’ll wait when the dates are close and see if I can get my ticket, thank you for letting me know💜
i can understand u guys, in this age i dont really care abt bad comments anymore. maybe bcs im alrd old enough, things i faced in real life were harsher than the online comments 😂😂😂 im 40 btw. thank u for the reaction 💜💜💜
It makes me happy to see older fans. I'm in my 30s and I love their music. It makes me sad when people criticize us for liking teenage stuff... Their music can resonate to any age groups
@@haruhifujioka7054 they have bad taste in music i guess 😂 good music is good music whatever your age. i mean we are not on the age anymore for liking artist for their looks, hv a crush to celeb or something... it's pure bcs of their quality and craft... 💜
Hey Brian and Stan, I've learned that some of those comments that sound rude are actually people whose 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th language is English and they don't realize it sounds rude. I called out someone the other day and they were really apologetic. ANYWAY... 😁 Thanks for reacting to this one! The new album is really great and super diverse as usual. I am still hoping some generous rich person gets you to the concert. 💜
FYI There is a Documentary about the making.called "Dialogue" .They worked with UCLA Marching Band..Jazz Dept ..and Gospel singers from New Orleans on a few songs for the album..They worked together before back in 2014
BTS collab with UCLA Bruins Marching band for this track and also the choir from New Orleans. Maybe you guys should do listening album party since the album release two days ago on Friday.
“You Koreans are mean people” lmao bruh, BTS’ biggest fanbase is from the US. Also the majority of the fandom is 20-30. It is common to see armys in their 40s 50s and 60s on Twitter. We are extremely diverse, come from every corner of the planet and speak and translate into many languages.
The B and S Show Yes I know, no hate I’m just trying to let you know about a common misconception. It would be awesome if you guys could react to the BTS Black Swan art film, it’s essential viewing to truly understand how deep black swan goes. Bts aren’t in it, they hired contemporary dancers from the MN Dance Company as part of the worldwide art curation project “Connect, BTS”. It’s absolutely beautiful!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vGbuUFRdYqU.html You really need to watch it once without subtitles to take everything in and then again with subtitles.
I apologize whoever threw rude or negative comments towards you guys. Please know that we appreciate you reacting to BTS works. Sending love from Philippines.
Yes, please watch the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as they are having a 1 hour Subway Special with BTS, they perform "ON" in the middle of the night shutting down Grand Central in NYC. This is the first time the Tonight Show has featured one artist for the entire show. BTS makin history once again!! Also this week will be Carpool Karaoke with James Corden and BTS which should be hilarious!!
BTS infused choreography from FIVE previous tracks into this multi~layered choreo! In the dance break they mixed choreo bits from danger, fire, idol, not today, dionysus!!! They brought back the past to their present!💥💖
Filmed here: The Sepulveda Dam is designed to withhold winter flood waters along the Los Angeles River. Completed in 1941, it is located south of center in the San Fernando Valley, approximately eight miles east of the river's source in the western end of the Valley, in Los Angeles, California.
Thank you guys for your reaction & putting in the effort to find the official : ) Please don't be discouraged by negative comments, keyboard warriors are everywhere... We appreciate and enjoy watching your videos!
Thank You for reaction. Choreography very hard, sing and rap...very important words Map Of The Soul:7 special album for BTS and ARMy too:) and BTS look best great,:)
This was shot at Sepulveda dam. I liked how you could really focus on the boys and their performance. It was amazing and I loved how they utilized parts of a marching band into it.
Lol I clicked into the fan made video flub when you posted it and almost decided to comment but figured you’d get hammered on it regardless so I kept it to myself. 😅
Did you notice the young woman who was front center at the very beginning? Her name is Sienna Lalau, she is 19 years old, and she is the choreographer for this video. The other backups are her students and crew at the studio she works out of, The Lab. It's actually her third time choreographing a BTS performance. She also created the dancing for Chicken Noodle Soup and Dionysus! She is a phenom in her own world of dance. The bugle corps in the video are the Blue Devils, but the band who recorded the actual soundtrack is UCLA's Marching Band.
Please check out “Ugh!” It’s great, “Ego” as well! The fancams from their speak yourself concert at Wembley are also an amazing look at just how much their fans appreciate them.
Yah you really gonna like the other songs of the album they are amazing ..like ( moon , louder than the bombs, friends , filter , inner child, we are bulletproof)
If a video says FMV its Fan Made Video. Don't let the negative messages get you down. You're doing good! There's not a single Army that came in knowing everything. Not even the ones that were there from the beginning they had to watch bts content to learn too. I've been a fan for 2 years now and some of the fan made content looks so real its easy to get confused.
Love this song, you also should check out “ Louder than Bombs” from map of the soul. I’m older Army, 68 years young. Have tickets for their concert in Atlanta.
Thanks for your feedback, and don't worry if you're wrong about looking for the video on other channels that aren't. I like all your reactions to BTS 💜
The meaning is quite a bit deeper than "I get knocked down, I get back up" bro. If your really want to know what they are about I suggest looking up terms such as, Inner Child healing, Past life traumas, Dark night of the soul, Jungian Philosophy, etc. The rabbit hole goes deep, but in the depths there's wisdom that they have seen and decided to share with us. Aside from other important factors for the success, their label has been amazing. They are a big part of why they remain so successful. They treat them with respect and do everything in their power to show this side of BTS. There are many labels out there that do not care as much, that do not fight for their artists and their message in this way. Trust ARMY, because we've seen their evolution.
Hey guys, I love ya! Ignore the stupid people, you are doing great. As long as you are enjoying BTS that's all that matters, that's why we're here watching, because I want to get your take on our 7 great guys! The thing I love about this is it showcases them perfectly, just their great visuals, vocals and dancing, no need for anything else, their talent speaks for itself.
Please watch "on" commentary dialogue.....it's all about the production......the marching band.....choir......and jazz artists that went into this album......the cultures they brought together is amazing💜✌
This is a kinetic manifesto film. The focus is on movements. And we should not be surprised with how BTS keep coming out with something different. This isn't the first single released. There was "Black Swan". If you think this is different, check that out. "Shadow" & "Ego" trailers were also released. And yes, all of them are "different" 😅
I made the comment on a page that a fan made video said official and could confuse newer fans....dang I got chewed out and invited to leave the page. Some people are just hateful. You are new to the BTS and anyone who remembers what it was like when we were new, knows there is so much out there it can be hard to figure out what is what. You guys are great.
The fact that u said it had a mad max feel lol I though the same thing when I listened to louder than bombs😊 I don't know exactly why but that's where my mind went😂 You should check it out 2😊💜
haha, didn't even a pause, nice reaction bros, there is another official MV comin' up this Friday (28th). the one you just watched is more like a performance MV version. will come back to watch when u guys are ready for the 2nd reaction.
I prefer you must watch the ''ON' commentary short film dialogue'' on their channel on how bts and UCLA BRUIN MARCHING BAND collaboration happened 🙏 you'll see how💯
😂At the beginning, yeah I admid that some in our fandom can be pretty immature or a little too sensible when it come to BTS so just don't mind these type of passive aggressive comments and thank you for trying to get to know a little more about BTS and music in general
They just uploaded an 18 minute documentary yesterday about how they got the UCLA Bruin Marching Band and such involved in the making of “ON.” You will also see old footage of BTS (5-6 years ago) recording an album or something. Link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-npfs6afvIhk.html
