I lost my both parents in this pandemic last year!! And I’m 21 years old!! I just forgot how to smile but MAGIC SHOP was really comforting when I listened to it because my sister was listening to it and since then BTS helped me come out of that situation and I feel good because of them!!

I’m a 2015 ARMY and I can tell you “2! 3!” was really OUR song, like the impact of that song was something incredible to witness Like today we have mikrokosmos but back then the go to ARMY song was 2! 3! and back then BTS didn’t even have to sing it, ARMY would literally sing the whole song to them. We went through a lot of hate and hardships trying to protect BTS from haters and help them further their career so that song will always be my go to ARMY song 💜💜

I became ARMY since they debut. Prior them debuting, it was a hard time for me. I was depressed and always have anxiety because of my family expecting me to become a nurse instead of pursuing the thing I love, which is cooking. Because of BTS' no more dream it inspired me to speak up. And now I am a graduate of BS Hotel and Restaurant management and also took Culinary arts.

Never have I ever in my life dreamed of going to a concert of an artist but man these boys they made me dream every day and night since the end of 2017 and yoongi assuring that I won’t go to anywhere else is not helping my saddest dream🥺😢 but never say never..💜

QOTD: I became an ARMY in 2016 because of FIRE.I was already in kdramas since 2015...but I also used to listen to some kpop songs....even though I was not much into it as kpop didn't interest me much. Looking back, what really stamped me to be ARMY forever was Jin's Epiphany. That song really hit hard and broke me into massive tears of realization and acceptance of what I was going through and happening to me. They helped me change the way I look upon myself and my life. From there it just solidified as I discovered more about them and their music. 2, 3 is another song I love that is personal to me as well. I would love to hear your opinion on it on YT. My Wishes 1. My friend told me that there will be a group that will debut on June 2013 but I forgot the date so it made almost a month to watch them. I will never forget the date because it is the same day as ARMY was established: July 9, 2013. I watched No More Dream at that day. On those days, I am at the lowest part of my life. I am a 17 year old girl who wants to throw her life away, thinking that being alive is not for me. The song itself touched my heart and I dive deep into them. I searched for their names and their pre-debut songs and videos for a months. I discovered School of Tears. That song made me love them because I realized that they are different. That they are speaking for the voices of people who can't speak up for themselves. It resonate so much with me that I promised to be their fan for years. And here I am now. A 25 year old young lady who is still fighting for her life to achieve her dreams. 💜😊

how many artist stans their fans like BTS? it's rare for an artist to be like and stay that way specially when they have all the fame already. and that's why i love BTS, you know that they really enjoy what they do and cherish every moment because they remember almost every detail of it. BTS stans their fans differently, they stan like they are fans of their fans. and when you mention an artist name, how many would know the name of their fandoms like BTS with ARMY? i just watched another group being interviewed and they were asked when they 1st held their concert, when they won their first award, and even the date of their debut and they all failed to answer them correctly and i felt sorry for their fans i didn't finish watching it. a lot of people to this date still don't understand why we are so passionate about our love for BTS, specially in my country [philippines] .. they felt the need to buy the BTS Meal and then video themselves throwing away the packaging, tearing them and then say a lot of bad things JUST so they can say that they don't respect BTS and ARMYs. they think they're in the "cool" section of society when they did that, knowing that they will definitely offend a lot of people and because they want to get famous .. WE ARMYS will always defend our boys but we always also have to know how to respond back so the name ARMY will not have the reputation that we are "toxic" fans. we definitely have those in the fandom but for the majority of us, let's spread love and educate others properly. let's give them facts only and do not engage with other toxic individuals. i have been an ARMY for many yrs and i started alone, i don't have any friends at that time to confide with, to fangirl with because i don't have the energy to always explain myself to people why i love BTS. i always only respond to them that they have to listen to the songs and find the english translation for the lyrics. i leave it up to them to discover why BTS is loved by ARMYs and now, they all fell in love BTS, i didn't force any of them to love BTS they just naturally did. ♥

I became Army on May 6th, 2019. I used to watch a channel called "React" and they had a bunch of ppl r3act to Boy with love so I got curious and watched it. From then it was love at first sight lol. I remember I was so amazed by their dancing and when Yoongi's iconic rap came on I was literally so mesmerized. After that I searched more videos and when I watched Blood Sweat and Tears I was a goner. I knew I was in this fandom for life. Of course at the beginning it was more about me thinking they were handsome and good singers and dancers but the most I got to know them personally wise and what they stand for, I started to admire then and more for that. Two years later here I am a Hobi bias and of course OT7 cuz that the only way you can be Army. Since I literally know no one who likes BTS in person, I'm grateful for you Familia. I was in a particularly tough time in my life. I had just survived Hurricane Irma and was stuck on an island for a week with no food and water when really all I was suppose to do is start medical school. I was then displaced and had to relocate my life into the UK. On top of that medical school was hard, I felt very small and incapable of anything. One day my best friend was watching RUN BTS and I asked her what it was in which she invited me to watch along side her. At that point I thought, "these dudes are so f***** funny!" and I began to look them up their music, dancing, and other shows and from that point on in March 2018 til now, I'm so glad I can call them home. borahae familia! hope everyone is doing well!

I became an ARMY in 2016 just a couple months before the WINGS comeback. I had seen BTS mentioned in the comments of a Pentatonix video on RU-vid and decided to look them up. The first song I heard was Save Me. Then I looked up the MV. Then I spent the next hour falling down the rabbit hole watching MVs and looking stuff up about them.

I officially became an army on april 2016. But have known them year 2015 from a classmate. I first saw their N.O dance practice, then No more dream and converse high performance on mnet. At first, i thought their video is edited to fast forward because of synchonization. In 2016, i finally became an army when i watched video of american hustle life, rookie king.

So when I was doing school I decided to self-research on the two groups (BlackPink and BTS) as both of them had a different vibe that just stood out to me that I could also emphasise too. To answer the question of the day. I heard the end of MIC DROP (in January of 2018) on TV by literal accident and I just had to listen to the whole song. I opened YT aaaaaaand fell deep into the rabbit hole. Before I know it I was waiting for my first comeback which was Fake Love.

Finally I came to the channel yesterday to watch and it was not there so happy you guys re uploaded it again 💜

Summer of 2019, I found the puppy interview that BTS did with buzzfeed, was super impressed with how fast Namjoon translated the questions from English to Korean then I scrolled right into their hilarious American interviews. It wasn't until a week later that I saw a video where someone included a short clip of their song Fire that I realized they were actually a singing group (Not sure if I thought they did comedy or what. I just found them hilarious in the few videos that I'd seen before I realized they sang). From there, I decided that I would look into their music because I just wanted to know their names....and then I became army and have been army ever since. No regrets on stumbling across that puppy video at all. 💜

No one asked but here’s my story of becoming an army I’ve actually been a fan of bts since 2013, their debut stage was a day before my 11th birthday…during that time I was going through pressure from my families and extended families, they had all these hopes and visions of what they’d want me to become and that is becoming a doctor…..at 11 I was dealing with depression due to too much pressure from my families I developed S.A.D (Social anxiety disorder). I’ve had many violent thoughts back then even the idea of ending my own life was number 1 in my mind but then I stumbled across bts and their first song No More Dream, although the song wasn’t my type of music I was really curious on the lyrics because it was in a different language and I was never the type to judge a song by it’s language…the lyrics of no more dream literally motivated me…. then N.O came out, “don’t be captured in other’s dream” that struck me, I slowly started gaining confidence in myself and through all 8yrs of being with BTS I’ve learned a lot and have the confidence to voice out a lot of things I am 19 now, I gave birth to a baby boy at 16 and now he’s 3….being a fan of bts literally made me not care about other ppls opinions when I attended school pregnant and although I can hear what disgusting and rude things they say behind me, I didn’t pay any attention to them because they did it behind my back, where they belong…BEHIND ME….I graduated last year at 18 and where I live we don’t have many COVID cases and we were on level 1 then so we held our graduation….I walked up that stage with my head held high and my 2yr old son in my hands. I graduated at the top of my school with the highest academic mark and the most awards and THATS ON BTS BEING MY MENTAL GUIDANCE AND HELPER AS WELL AS MY EMOTIONAL TEACHER💜

Answer for QOTD: I would say the way I become ARMY is quite unique. I didn't fall for them after I watch their M/V or listen to their music, but I accidentally watched a video recommendation of their elevator prank in Rookie King on my RU-vid. It was 2014/15 (The end of 2015 or early of 2015, I don't quite remember). So, after watching that elevator prank, I was like "These guys are funny, who are they? What is this show?". Then, I started watching Rookie King and learn that they are idol and known as BTS. I search more about them and started to love them and become an ARMY. Then, I learn about their discography, mv, etc. That's my story 🥰

One of my favorite and funny memories it was after I watched hwarang (I am kdrama fan) tae’s acting and the ost of taejin in that drama attracted so I searched and i was in denial that I like what i have explored so I used to come back to these songs (the ost of taejin, micdrop,DNA and pied piper) specially pied piper without knowing the meaning of the lyrics🤡 it went a whole month that way😅 after I found out about the lyrics I was like OMG they were pulling me in with that flute and I didn’t know I still laugh at myself when I remember😂😉🥰and then I found myself memorizing the fanchat and the rest is history💜💜💜
