I think my opinion the main reason for the hate between the two fandoms is the constant shipping. Some blinks want BTS to date Blackpink by force hence the shipping. Then get disappointed when their fantasies and delusions are proved wrong and they start leaving hate comments on Bighit's posts about BTS members on Instagram. even though the person that created this compilation stated there were no Taennie clips we still ended up seeing some Taenie clips proving the originator to be a Blink delusional shipping fan.

about the armyblink hate: I think sometimes you don't really need a reason to hate someone. those fandom wars are usually pointless and have no sense. for instance, a blink say something to an army and they start arguing by not only having a personal argument but also by offending the idol of the 'opponent'. also in each fandom some ships exist. some fans ship members of one group and 'protect' them when they see others people interaction with their ship. I mean hypothetically members of one group can have romantic relationship with each other since we don't know whether they are straight or not, but only hypothetically. some fans are really possessive and they don't understand what they say or do. that's why idols get hate and since they are human beings as well some of them can't handle hate and pressure they receive so they try to keep distance in public. also kpop politic suggest that a fan is supposed to be the centre of a kpop group attention. so a group have to give all the love to their fans. and when a group members have an interaction with other people, especially the male-female one, they get much hate from the fans cause the fans get jealous idk. if we take blackpink and bts I belive they have good relationship with each other and maybe are even friends, but just don't announce that. generally, many female idols avoid public interactions with male ones and vice versa. now, as I see, the situation is getting better and I really hope that artists will break the 'barrier' and will do whatever they want to no matter what fans say. cause all the situation is really unhealthy and nowhere never I have seen such a toxic community as a kpop one. I love kpop very much and, one the one hand, I am impressed how friendly and supportive are people here, but on the other, the amount of hate a person can receive by doing the most basic thing is ridiculous.

As an armyblink for 6 years (not a shipper) I admire bp and bts talents so much. I always feel sad that they are kind and fun but have to act like they didn't know each other bc of toxic fans. I just hope someday army and blink can be friends just like back then.😢
A few 2nd gen groups introduced k-pop on international level, tho not on a bigger scale. But u gotta agree that bts and after them blackpink, both these groups took k-pop to a whole new level internationally. Their concepts and songs are totally different, blackpink have a girl crush concept which is totally different from bts's concept, that's what makes them stand out sm to the netizens. Both groups imo started a totally different side in kpop.
