I admire him as a father because he cared for her daughter's preferences and appreciated and supported her effort,curiosity and enthusiasm to learn then whether it's due to anything as long as it's right.He's a nice father. People with wise thinking like him are seen very less these days.🙂🙏
You know most parents actually never get to express themselves like he does it in his shows that's an underrated tool but very effective to even convey messages to family and form a better communication with them

Amazed by how he did NOT use any SINGLE OFFENSIVE word in the hole show, no roast, no ashleelta (vulgarity if I spelled the hindi one wrong), this is what type of comedy this generation should do. No one is offended by this! Honestly, such a nice script, something that even the kids can watch. An amazing comedian and an amazing father! Kudos!
Being a BTS Army i agree all thorse😂....i had also never been in reading books but i really got inspired by Kim Namjoon ( leader of BTS)..and i literally adopted this habit of reading and i felt the difference . If you look at the positive side you'll get to learn so many good things.

I'm a BTS ARMY and my dad showed this to me hahaha... Also sir you're lucky your daughter chose BTS, 2 of the members are valedictorians and class presidents and top of their batches since middle school, and almost all the members have finished their school, college and masters with honor certificates for exemplary academic performance while managing their growing career side-by-side. So you've got the calculus part covered then :P
@@sbbs207 no he's in liberal arts. namjoon has never liked stem even though he was decent with it. i believe he's said once that he used to get good grades but rarely got 100s (full marks) since he didn't like what he was learning. i know for sure that there's a video clip of jimin asking everyone if they've ever gotten a 100 on tests since he has but everyone else denied. namjoon is smart for sure, but it's a matter of enjoying it. on the other hand, yoongi is also smart in a lot of fields and is an excellent music producer, but has failed and gotten poor scores in music class growing up. tbh it all goes to show that school grades mean nothing in the end. you could get high scores but hate what you do, or fail a subject that ends up becoming your life. don't let it define you since most of the time, it just shows how great your short-term memory is, not your learning or understanding.
Really appreciate the way you handled BTS subject. You understood ur daughter and also understood what good impact they are. It is true that BTS has been a good influence for all ages. If there are some Indian men still thinking to bring BTS down, pay full attention to what I am gonna say. You hating them does not reduce their fame, talent or worth even by miniscule percentage. There will someone in ur life who had their happiness bcoz BTS came into their lives.

As a teenage BTS fangirl, I thanks you and appreciate you Amit uncle that you understood your daughter and encourage her in learning new things cuz my parents do not support me in loving BTS so I know the pain! But am glad that elders in India started discovering BTS. There ain't anything wrong in loving BTS, infact they have one of the most beautiful discographies of their music. They everytime teaches us new things to love our own self, to speak yourself, to follow our dreams, they are now the inspiration of millions of Army's.
I honestly loved the part where he speaks about his teenage and breakup. It kind of shows his understanding of his children's teenage plus the comedy required.

Amit Tandon being a stage performer will not suspect other stage artist. He knows what it takes to reach where BTS and Shawn are. It was handled very well by him. And he could attract some extra viewers with those names.

Literally My mom and dad did the whole research on K-pop especially on BTS when they find out they are my idol. And you know most fun part was that after completing their research they both are army and assured at one point that their daughter is not going to run away with someone because I am too focused on building my career. 😂😂😂😂😂

wish my parents were this supportive when i said i liked bts and kpop. i love learning languages so i learned and minored in korean in college because of them and i've been to two bts concerts already (technically the second one was just agust d but still counts). however, i've had to fight my way to do what i wanted. they somewhat understand now, but it was difficult to get to where we are now. thanks for this tho! your daughter is very lucky to have you!

@@HONEYOJHA1811 lol i guess it helps to know im indian-american. i went to the one at prudential center. helpful hint: do your research on weather and prepare for everything. prudential had no respect for fans and they kept us standing out in the pouring rain all day. i was completely drenched but the concert was amazing! i hope you get to go soon! counting down until 2025💜
@@_Lavanya_Mishra i'm indian-american so i don't have to go that far (still a long drive lol). but i really hope you get to go. i know the pandemic screwed their plans to come to india but keep saving money till 2025💜 while i've been to two concerts i don't have that much merch, just a couple of albums since my parents did not like me buying too much. i'm making my own money now but i have to save for dental school- which will put in lots of debt anyways. but i hope you get to see them soon!!!

I so can relate to this. Funny yet so real. I remember years ago when my second daughter was around 15 - 16 and smitten badly by the Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias...her room had life size posters of him looking so dashing and melting the hearts...I had to learn about him and his songs (which by the way I too lived) just so I could still be part of her world. Then one day I read in the newspapers that he had married a Russian athlete or tennis player or something like that. Don't know how daughter missed that NEWS!! Couple of months later I happened to mention that in a passing way, casually. And there was an utter silence...I mean a kind of shattering silence... Then boom! Just one word was spat " BITCH". I was so shocked that such a word came out of my daughters mouth, in a family where swearing was a strict no no..... There was no more discussion on Enrique...one day the poster disappeared and I found that one of his photos which was in her drawer was thrown out...I never could make her talk about it to me but am sure she had friends to speak to. Years passed. Now she just laughs and even says I am dramatising it all. More importantly poor Iglesias is back on the songs list though I think they are out of fashion now. Just came to my mind that no parent can ever really understand a teen aged child. Don't bother being a friend. Just be there as a parent. That who the kids need when they wake up....

You can crack jokes without using any abusive words. But some comedians thinks it would be more funny when they used slang words. You are truley a great person.
I recently became a huge fan of this guy. Very clean and fantastic comedy. I have almost seen all the comedians but Amit you are really good. In my opinion, doing clean comedy is very hard it requires a good and clean mindset. Keep going, brother.

I love watching stand up comedy and BTS content and I always thought why Indian comedians don't make content on k-pop , maybe bcz it's risky and there are many people who start passing xenophobic comments. Watching this video makes me so happy because you are one of my favourite comedians. Also, You are a great dad if you know her from this close, I'm also a BTS & Shawn Mendes fan and I have been a school & state topper but my parents don't know the fangirl side of me, maybe bcz they never paid attention to what I do apart from studies and celebrating members birthday is 200% true, we do celebrate all of their birthdays plus BTS anniversary and ARMY (fan's birthday) day LoL 😂. Also, I would like to tell you from my personal experience that If she is into BTS she will meet very good and ambitious people who will motivate her to do good in life. I've finished my college the best people I met in college are through BTS and I'm so grateful for that community❤
