It’s because he’s the only one being familiar with the English language - it’s easier to feel comfortable when not being a compete foreigner and stranger

He is confident but they all are when they're comfortable. Joonie's been speaking english the longest, so it's more natural to him now, but the others are new at it so even if they know the words it's still scary. I have a few Korean friends and I can chat pretty fluently with them on text but when we're together IRL or talking on the phone and they say oh let's speak Korean now ha I totally freeze because it's pretty daunting speaking to someone in their native language 😅 I have friends from all over and there are some languages I'm too nervous to attempt yet 😂
