“you’re not breaking records just because you’re famous. you’re famous because you’re talented and you should know that. you’re famous because you’re amazing”
First time it feels like the interviewer actually has listened to their music and did his homework before entering the interview. That’s a sign of respect, thank you for that!
Zach Sang is such a great interviewer he asks so good questions and is so supportive of the boys does all research regarding them since 2017! Joon said himself too haha. Do check their interview!
Can we appreciate Hobi for trying hard to speak in english to help Namjoon answer in their international interviews.. I see that he is really studying hard, cu’z even his accent and sentence formation is pretty decent
can we just appreciate zane for asking them interesting questions and talking to them like they’re humans, not just artists. and zane praising them and telling them they’re amazing; those are the things that armys want bangtan to hear, so tysm for telling them.
Yes that's what I'm thinking, I was sick of those repetitive questions like "who to collab with" or "what your favorite pizza", like wth they are singers, they're not there to answer trivia questions
Zane is a radio dj legend He's been around forever and well respected He's a truely an og dj. It's so refreshing to see dj still with integrity of their craft
exactly, i love watching Zane's interviews & seeing that he truly gets what the boys are about & has so much love & respect for them makes me luv him even more, the fact that he's a kiwi like me also helps lol
@Elena P. Totaly disagree, have u ever watched any of his other interviews? Hes a kiwi hes totaly chilled & layed back but wen we love something & are in2 it you will know about it
It’s insane!! At first I thought he had memorized a sentence he wanted to say, like some of the boys did previously. But this is really just him answering. His English is almost fluent! So proud of him wow 💜
Joonie : "We're one of the luckiest that have had stadium concerts and Billboard Hot 100 No. 1." Zane : "But that's because you're talented. That's because you're amazing. Your million of fans love you because you're brilliant. But fame is different. Fame is like attention and attention has a limit." Thank you so much Mr. Zane for giving this motivational words for them. These words could silence the antis out there :))
Can we talk about Hobi’s English?? He’s improved so much!! His pronounciation, grammar and vocabulary have improved a lot, which you can really notice in the last couple of interviews!
"You've ushered a pop revolution. There is no doubt about it. You put yourselves on the world stage and the world listened. I was in a car with my son and he was singing to me in Korean and he cant speak Korean."
yES I LIKED it too that how he asked very nice and genuine questions and we can see how bangtan is so comfortable talking to him we need more interviwes like this~ they all are like little friends chatting and laughing ✌️💜
The questions were on point, genuine and reasonable, indeed conveys and compliments the artistic experience and the processing behind BTS music versatility. Absolutely which helps us audience to get to know about them, about the actual significance of BTS as music artists!
Some people can whistle as tunefully as they sing. I'm so envious of it! I used to think that being able to sing tunefully means you can whistle tunefully too but no, no connection between the two, LOL.
Seeing BTS talk in English fluently and without being afraid encourages me a lot. They are studying English even though they have hectic schedules. I sincerely thank you BTS.
“You’re not breaking records just because you’re famous. you’re famous because you’re talented and you should know that. you’re famous because you’re amazing” Thank you for this great interview Zane Lowe and Apple Music.
This is one of the reasons I love apple music 😭 But Zane he was so caring and talked so nicely appreciating them for their talent and even going back to 2013 when they first debuted 😭😭😭😭 I'm not crying your crying
To be honest, I never really wanted kids but now I'm sad I don't have one. I'd love a to have a little ARMY with such wonderful role models. AND omg Zane's son must be buzzing from Jimin's 'MY SON!' haha
TBH, i dreaded the language as a kid because i felt i would never understand it. Fast forward to becoming an ARMY after discovering BTS , i sing in the language acting like i know WTH every word i say means😆
"You put yourselves in the world stage and the world listened." I was just saying "WOW" this whole interview.(actually, it's more than an interview to me). I love that the interviewer spoke as if he's doing some inspirational talk with BTS, thinking about how magical their lives have been since 2013.. And the way he played both the role of a fan and a proud dad while speaking to them was just amazing!
yes! re: to the proud Dad. Jimin-shii is so sweet, he showed his appreciation to Zane's son. More like a shout to him! and not being rude or made fun of the kid. :)
This is one of the best interviews they haved, They actually tackled about their songs not about their personal lives, the interviewer really do listen to them huh? He looks genuine talking about BTS's music.
@@nataly7178 i think they meant to every member they have six soulmates, so namjoon has six soulmates to rely on, not including himself, they weren’t leaving a member out, it was just worded weirdly😅🙂
I love how he called Dynamite a “foreign language song”. So many people ask “how was it singing in English?” As if English is the goal that they finally reached. But any foreign language would be difficult. It’s not hard because it’s “EnGliSh”, it’s because it’s not their native language. It would be hard to sing in Spanish or Portuguese or Swahili.
When he talked about his son singing in Korean, I teared up. I also cried when Randall Park talked about how he cried at a BTS concert because people of all races were singing in Korean. Having lived in Asia, I love so much about Asian culture and here in America, it's often brushed off as funny or weird. I love that my kids are growing up in a smaller world where different cultures and languages are celebrated. It isn't perfect, but it's getting better. I love that BTS has closed the gap between East and West. My little armies and I thank you!
Kim Namjoon: BEAUTIFUL Kim Seokjin: BEAUTIFUL Min Yoongi: BEAUTIFUL Jung Hoseok: BEAUTIFUL Park Jimin: BEAUTIFUL Kim Taehyung: BEAUTIFUL Jeon Jungkook: BEAUTIFUL
I gotta say, Zane made me really proud to be a New Zealander today. That’s one of the most respectful and well worded interviews BTS has had outside of Korea. He was so caring towards BTS, and researched and giving them lots of credit where credit is effing due! They all looked so proud when he said the thing about his son singing to him in Korean and that made me so happy 😍💜💜💜 love you always BTS, thankyou for everything!
You have so many reasons to be proud to be a New Zealander! Starting from your amazing Prime Minister *___* I'm starting to believe all you guys are graceful and lovely!
@@tieferwasser8318 thanks 💜🙏 yeah I love being a NZer. Agreed that Jacinda is awesome. Compassionate leaders are what we need right now and she is one. Haha we’re generally full of really cool people but we also have our share of toxic cultures and bigots unfortunately. But compared to most other countries we do okay, but we can do better and should strive for better. But I’m very lucky to live here. I don’t take that for granted ever ❤️
@@LilacLoveMaze0613 trust me, I have so many times thought seriously about moving there ...unfortunately I don't have an important job :-D I am Italian, and New Zealand would be such a breath of fresh air from all the toxicity we have here!
This felt like an ARMY interviewing BTS, so natural, so honest and so respectful. Very special for sure, I appreciate the interviewer's aproach to the guys and I could see they were confortable and even surprised to hear so many great things comming from him, so thank you so much for this interview!!
The look in Namjoon's eyes as he started to respond when Zane said his son was singing in Korean & he doesn't know how to speak Korean... you just know Joon was about to say something profound, but he seemed to be stumbling on how to express it, so he just stopped and said "Thank you" in agreement with other members saying "Thank you", because they are indeed so thankful..without question. 💜💜💜 I'm so thankful for BTS and for them taking us on their journey. Zane did an excellent job with this interview.
Zane has no idea how grateful ARMYs are for asking the questions that he did and making the boys feel comfortable. This should be normal, but its not sadly. Thank you, Zane for respecting the boys and asking them questions about their music.
Him: I was in a car with my son and it is a moment I will never forget My dad's mind when I sing in Korean: What is she saying, should I take her to a hospital I think she's sick.
Same ....i literally had tears in my eyes when he said that because he was proud of his son and on the other hand there are our parents who think we r crazy😭
"I was in a car with my son, and he was singing to me in Korean. And he can't speak Korean. And it was a moment I will never forget." Zane, listen. Thank you, man, THANK YOU for saying that. It brought tears to my eyes as BTS listened to your words, because we know, we know how people looked down on them for their language, ethnicity and background. Now when you say that in a way that honors them, you did steal our hearts and BTS's too. Those claps and thank yous were genuine. And mine are too. Thank you.
I agree, that was the most sweetest and considerate thing I've ever heard an interviewer say to them. Thank you so much, Zane! You have ARMY's gratefulness, love and respect.
I love the part about fame. Most of the interviews touch on the topic in two basic ways: the excitement of "having US attention", or the crazy fans. But I've never seen a question about their life experience and how they felt about it, and Hobi's answer was beautiful, his words went directly to my soul. This is one of my favorites interviews of BTS.
Love it that V always challenges himself to speak in other languages despite he knows it's not perfect and people might laugh at him. The fact that he keeps trying, making the efforts and doesnt care what people might think, is very much commendable
@@jordanwatson1317 by people i mean, could be anyone e.g. viewers, interviewer, members, whoever. Hope it did not discourage him. I just admire V for his courage to always be among the ones who's willing to attempt despite not fluent at it and potentially be judged, belittled or laughed at.
@@lalisabp1436 I fully support you. It wouldn't hurt Jeongguk to learn to act decent and not laugh at his friend (if he considers Tae a friend). It looked disgusting.
Can we appreciate just how good this interview was handled, no one was asking about their dating life, no one looked uncomfortable, I didn't yawn, and everyone was having a good time. This is how you do an interview, don't belittle a group of artists just because they aren't your cup of tea or don't speak your language. Your racism is showing as soon as you bring up the language barrier, you can read darling anyways I'm babbling but this is what we wanted, this interview didn't dehumanize them not even once, anyways much love to the boys and ARMY 💜💜💜
The way I had to pause and just applaud when Zane stopped Joon and said "That's because you are talented, not just luck" 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Also how cute Jiminie saying "Thank you my son" 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
“Can I get the official introduction please”- Someone who has actually watched another interview It gets me so ticked off when people don’t respect the intro! ThankYou kind sir for giving the intro the love it deserves.
He was SO HYPED hahaha it was really cute. Yeah some foreign interviewers seem to think it's quaint or strange -- I did too at first but now I understand it's part of their brand and also very normal in K-pop.
I know a few people have said this already here in the comments, but I think it is necessary to mention it once again: this is probably one of the best interviews the boys have ever made because you can tell they were comfortamble in that environment. It seemed like Zane Lowe was not doing his job, but that he was entertaining a calm conversation between colleagues. I admired his clearly direct respect and appreciation, and I think that’s what put the boys at ease. Bts are aware of all their efforts and talent, but sometimes they are too hardworking that they end up forgetting that they deserve every good thing they're receiving thanks to their work. For this reason, even in working environments such as that of an interview like this one, it is so good that they’re recognized for their talent and reminded that they’re appreciated. This means taking them seriously, and studying their story at least a little. In addition, racism lurks around every corner and Bts are some of the victims of this unacceptable behaviour. I wish we shouldn’t be surprised when Bts are treated with respect because this should be a normal feature of these kinds of working environments. In spite of everything, I thank Zane Lowe for having behaved humanly with these humble humans who are currently a cure for many lost people.
"Suga literally cried when he took a shower door before the day the performance" Suga : "I usually don't tremble on a stage. But this is a stage that i have been watching since I was young" i cry when i write this comment...TT I'm so proud of them! ... Watch the workshop and perform on it later, if I was Yoongi I would have cried too but I'm proud of them and he must be proud of him too! Yoongi we miss u!!!💜👑✨♾♾ Jin "Also, it was so cute when Suga cried" Let's cry armyyy x2
JK was sooo distracting ( but like in a good funny “I’m the golden maknae I do what I want hyungs” kind of way) and I had to keep pausing because I was laughing too much! 😭😂
I am so happy to see Tae Tae trying to speak in English he is such a sweetheart .. even though it is not his language he still tries .. he feels for international armies too ... Thank you so much for this gentle gesture dear Tae Tae ☺☺ ☺... Thank you all the members to make full English song for all armies together it means a lot ...
yeah. i would love to hear him talk more in english in interviews. just keep on talking and eventually you’ll get use to it. when it’s hard then just laugh coz it’ll get better Taetae. armys will never judge u just enjoy urself while learning.
@@eminaislf3744 exactly ... I agree ... Their is no shame in doing it ... I am so happy that Tae Tae is always trying to let armies know how much he has learned .. it just fills my heart with joy seeing him getting better and better .. and seeing him learn so fast I feel like he will be more better then other moderate English speaking armies in near future ha ha ... 😀😀😀 Thank you for sharing your thoughts here army ☺
See how much more comfortable they are and interesting the interview is when they're actually asked questions about their music rather than the silly one's repeated over and over like "Who's your celeb crush?" Thank you Mr. Interviewer for making the boys comfy and asking some great questions, this was awesome to watch
5:24 Jungkook trying to control his laughter because of tae speaking English, they all were laughing when a member was speaking English 😂😂btw this is the best interview I have ever seen of BTS👍🏻👏🏻
See, you don't need to spend hours talking to BTS to make a good, substantial, genuine interview. But you do need hours to prepare, investigate, formulate and edit the questions that actually would make an impact on what the boys are saying. Thank you Zane for this interview, your work shines through in the way you made them shine 💜
