Yeah I'll be 49 next month, found BTS at the end of 2016 an I have never looked back, my cpn even said she can tell when I've been listening to BTS on my way to her office as I'm always happy and smiling, I laughed an said I listen to them daily they've become like an anti-depressant for me 💜
Turned 37 this year and just celebrated my year as ARMY in April. They found me after my mother passed. Pulled me out of a dark place. Bangtan for life!
I can't stop smiling all throughout your reaction. Thank you for giving BTS a chance and thank you for enjoying it. Hoping you'll react to more of BTS.
I appreciate that you prefer live performances. BTS really shines live. The music and videos are great but they were born for live shows. It's why their concerts sell out in the presales before even being offered to the general public here in the US. Outro: Tear at Wembley is one of my favorites.
I just watched all your BTS reactions, and I gotta say "I'm happiest when I meet you"! Thank you so much for all your kind and interesting words and for making these reactions for us! ARMY appreciate you, really💜Don't rush your journey with BTS, it should be special and please, don't worry about hate comments, you're amazing! You do you, so enjoy every moment. Even though I would lie, if I said I'm not looking forward for more of your reactions to them, because I am :) I saw ARMYs are recommending introduction videos by Taylor and XCeleste and tiny desk concert, to be honest, every video, performance and song is amazing in its own special way, so whatever you choose, we'll be waiting and supporting you :) 💜 "You nice, keep going!"
Thanks for the support and kind words!!! It takes a lot more than comments to get under my skin, but I do let these in close to my heart 💛 I’m very excited about the journey and will have them in my weekly mix for sure!
These are all B side songs which shows that they really have an amazing range outside of the title tracks. Just a personal opinion but these performances that are pre-recorded are great but the boys shine even more when they're live on stage with ARMY - either in a concert venue or music shows when they released a new album. I've seen them in concert twice and they've spoiled me for any other live act because they give 110% every single time to the point where they need O2 masks between sets just to catch their breath. They go hard and are born to be on stage. I'm sure we can recommend excellent videos to showcase that aspect, too if you're interested.
I agree BTS sound better live but... He needs to pick really good live performance i mean with a good balance between the volume of the back track, the volume of their mic/voices and the volume of the crowd. Because in some live, from a viewer perspective, you can't hear their voices well especially V's voice when he sings in low register. But of course i do prefer to hear them live, because often they put less effect in their voices and the arrangement are different so it is cool. And when their is a Real live band playing with them dam this is perfect cause sooo much more groovy and better. Wish they could perform all their songs with a live band and not a back track at least in concert. 💜
Yoongi (Suga) and Hoseok (JHope) each are able to change their inflections when rapping on a dime. It is not for vocal longevity. You should hear Yoongi on Run BTS and JHope on More. RM is more consistent with his inflections, but his lyricism is unreal. Can't go wrong listening to ANY of them. Including the vocal line of Seokjin (Jin), Jimin, Taehyung (V), and Jungkook (JK).
The last song they performed was "Telepathy". It's a song that they wrote with ARMY in mind! It was released on their album, BE, which was made during the pandemic. It was basically a song saying that despite the fact that we're all in different parts of the world, and they haven't been able to tour to meet us, we're still connected. I seriously don't know of a group that loves their fans more genuinely than they do! Part of that is due to the fact that they came from an unknown company that was near bankruptcy. They all shared one bedroom in the beginning, and struggled through so many trials. They worked their asses off! They didn't have the power and influence that other big companies could provide their artists for promotion. They grew organically WITH their fans. Their raw lyrics that had actually depth and meaning to them contributed to the gain in fans, along with their pure sincerity as individuals. It was like a breath of fresh air. To this day they always contribute a part of their success to the fans. It's so cool to see.
I think Suga is saying he's watching her on Social Media (invisibility hat and oh, shit don't hit the like button) meaning don't accidentally like anything on her social media or she will know he's checking on her.
All their mics are color coded. JIN started bedazzling his mic. And 6 member did the same. Mic colors are same with their in ears. They rarely use diff colors of mics, in this case few of them isnt using their own mics.🤣 Jin - pink Jungkook - purple Jhope - red Rm - blue Suga - black V - green Jimin - gold
Thanks for sharing this with us 💜🙏. Can’t wait to see more of your reactions to BTS’ songs. One day if you cried while react to one of BTS’s songs…welcome to ARMY fam.!
13:00 - The one rapping is J-hope, who has the triple role of being a rapper, a dancer, and a vocalist. The one harmonizing with him is JK or Jungkook, who is also a vocalist, a dancer, and a rapper. They're both all-rounders.
@Femmy Syahrani Since when jhope becomes a vocalist? I don't wanna sound rude here we all know Bts have 4 official vocalist. Pls don't spread mis info here if you are sure of your saying give us the link proving your claim
@@minjipark7259 he's like a sub vocalist i guess. he starts off spring day by singing, for example. jhope is a great singer actually, obviously he's not like a main singer/official vocalist and his range isn't that big. the members often talk about hobi being an allrounder too 😊
FYI these songs are all B sides 🤯🤯 And they are all Great songs... They are Just That good with everything, the lyrics, the message, the humbleness, genuine, fun, true artists 💜💜 Munster 5 Ddeang is a Nice recommandation. The vocalline do the rapping.. very good and fun to watch.. Greetz from the Netherlands
that last song was written about ARMY 🥰💜 they rlly love their fans in a much more significant way than any other artist I’ve ever seen. I got into them in October and I have two BTS tattoos now, in this for life.
Thanks for shedding some awareness on the hard work they put into their vocals. Their dance moves look so practice-intensive, I think a lot of us don't appreciate how much finesse their group vocals need, too.
SUGA wrote, ‘Telepathy’ for ARMY during the pandemic. He normally writes such hard hitting lyrics when he raps but this joyful song rolled off his pen in just 30 minutes. They say he is tsundere, emotionless on the outside but soft and caring on the inside and it’s a term which suits him well. He doesn’t usually meet those he produces for choosing to conduct business by email except for PSY, of course. This was a great collection of songs for those who don’t know BTS well yet and haven’t come across these rather less well known delights. You mentioned how they came forward to the camera when it was their part. They know how to work the cameras and even though this was an unchoreographed performance they would have loosely worked out what they were going to do. Their dance director, Son Sungdeuk makes sure that each of them gets a turn at being upfront. BTS themselves will adapt a choreo to work for them. It’s great to meet a baby ARMY in the making. Welcome to the BTS rabbit hole.
You should check out a concert performance of theirs. I personally think that's where they most shine. I like these live sets but it's hard to be them on stage at a show. Magic Shop, Outro: Tear, Attack on Bangtan--those might be good ones to start with!
Magic Shop live 😍😍 I really think that’s such an amazing performance for seeing how well they can perform vocals and rap. Plus their lyrics and production shine on that song. Doesn’t capture their incredible dancing but really showcases their singing and rapping talents and how well they can write/produce.
Also, the mixes on all of the songs in this medley are really different than the studio versions. This kept them all a little uniform and gave them an easy listening feel. But they're really very different songs.
Watching this made me so happy just seeing my boys smile and having fun, it also showed me why I loved all the songs that they performed. Also Jimin was defo the pies piper during the performance as he just hypnotized me and I couldn't keep my eyes of off him (also I might be biased saying that as he is my ult bias)
They are my daily happiness pill. I love this video, because it shows how good they are, no matter the style they decide to sing. And more, if their voices and lyrics made us smile, their dancing get us crazy! Such an energy! I recommend you to watch the 5th munster in Korea to have an idea how we feel watching and hearing them. Oh! I'm 65, not a screaming girl, ok?
I'm one of the older BTS fans and I just love these extremely talented lads. I've been singing and playing in bands since I was 15 so I know how much work and time goes into what they do. I love their spread of genres and the way they mix genres so effortlessly. They really are super stars who write about real things rather than some meaningless insipid nonsense. They're not afraid to touch on topic's most would run a mile from and their love for the fans (Army) goes above and beyond other groups, bands and solo artists. Thank you for your enthusiastic reactions. luv ya.
yes they are always having a blast, anyone watching and listening will also enjoy their energy and enthusiasm is so contagious... I hope u enjoyed and loved their performance too... thanks a lot for this wonderful reaction looking forward on the next one 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Subscribed dude! Loved your reaction and analysis. I'm a 59 year old ARMY and I love them. The first time I saw this vid I thought the same thing, just a bunch of friends hanging out and jamming. Welcome to the rabbit hole. I went down 2+ years ago and havent gotten out yet. Soooo much content. They ARE truly professionals in every sense of the word. I dont think there it s another group around that can mesh like these seven. Again welcome to the world of BTS. I hope you stay awhile, your perspective is refreshing and gratifying. I look forward to more reaction. I'll have some recommendations after I check out your other reactions. Gotta check out Black Swan, ON both versions, Film Out, Blood Sweat and Tears. and so much more.
I am 64 years old, a widow. Have a few friends and 2 kids who have their own families. A lot of loneliness. Since I heard BTS (which is not played in Sweden) 10 months ago, my life has changed completely. I have looked at everything to do with them! Have missed a lot in 9 years! I play their music as soon as I can. I try to introduce them to my friends and children. Doesn't work so well... Think they're missing something otherwise! You just want to pass on the words of love from them to the world! I feel like a proud mother for them!
react to outro tear live in Wembley stadium!! It's the three rappers but it's way better than the recording! you can really feel their energy, even tho its rap the energy in the live performance brought me to tears watching it in person
70 year old Army here. I loved your reaction to our 3 rappers and 4 vocalists known as BTS! The name of the song where he is holding the mike like a flute is "Pied Piper". The last song, "I am happiest when I'm with you," is a song for Army. One of many they have written for their Army (of fans).💜
BTS is really ARMY's happy place. I became ARMY because I loved their music and their positivity really lifted me up during difficult times. RUN BTS, their variety show, is free happiness booster.
I hope you watch also their Proof live which is this year’s Festa show as well as their NPR, BBC Radio One and MTV videos if you want to see them sing live. Of course their MMA 2019 which is hands down mind blowing performance of theirs and it’s an awards show 🤭
Love your reactions! The first song is and early one, not too deep. It's about creeping on your ex on social media, trying not to hit the Like button, and realizing you blew it by letting them go
Fun reaction! They have so many good live performances that I am excited for you to see. I don’t even know where to start with recommendations, but just know that you are working your way up to their 2019 MMA (Melon Music Awards) performance, which is 40 minutes long, and potentially the best live performance ever. But next maybe a live performance of Magic Shop with English Subtitles (make sure you put English subtitles in the search). Or Crystal Snow Live performance with English subtitles. Or my very favorite Outro: Tear live at Wembly with English Subtitles
BTS have the power to spread happiness and positivity wherever they go. That’s why we love them so much! And also they are the most humble people ever. They are at the top of the world but they never forget where they came from and never forget about ARMY. The amount of love and respect they have for us is something I’ve never seen before. 💜
Loved your reaction! You’re fun to watch and I really like your comments on the music and production, thank you for taking your time and appreciate such great artists
If you’re looking to learn more about them and their story, see below! Overview on their journey: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0KonKFssKnM.html About the members: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-huV_yIdxZPY.html We don’t mind watching very long videos haha.
"I'm the happiest when I meet you..." well, they are actually singing it to their ARMY so if you want somebody to say that to you too you can join the fandom too.😉 You are most welcome.💜 Anyways that was a cheerful reaction, thankyou.
Hi, new subscriber here and 49 year old ARMY from UK. Only discovered your channel today through BTS reactions and i love you reactions so far. I have always been into metal and rock, not really keen on any pop really so thought I would not like K-Pop. My daughter was playing songs while washing up one day and one vocalist blew me away in a ballad. It was V from BTS is the song The Truth Untold. It opened my mind up to giving them a chance and I have not been disappointed. You name the genre and they have probably done it. Their lyrics are like poetry with deep meaning. Their genuine, humble, kind and hard working manner has truly made me appreciate them as human beings. I have been ARMY ever since that day Sept 2020 and they still surprise me with their new work. It has been said that BTS finds you when you need them even if you don't know it at the time. I do hope you will continue to discover their music and you will find ARMY will be happy to guide you if you want any help. Excited to see where you go next... Borahae 💜
Hearing what a professional has to say about group vocals it got me thinking abt Army all singing together. Does that count as grp vocals? cuz they sound heavenly. Goosebumps inducing... 💜 I'd love for u to react to concert footage and hearing Army chanting along.😊
Great reaction! I laughed to myself a bit when you were sad that the in between bits don't have captions - that's such an ARMY kinda mood - I'm calling it now, I think you'll be ARMY soon. :) Would love to see more reactions to BTS on your channel! Even if it's not a live performance, we love to watch people get to know BTS, so if you feel like you want to do some MV reactions or even some of their side content or interviews, ARMY will show up for it. 💜
Loved the reaction and really enjoyed your comments about the technical, sound stuff I'd never otherwise notice... and you are correct you may very well get a couple of negative and unwarranted comments, just remember, those are people lashing out due to unhappiness in their own lives, and you cannot control them, so do not internalize them. Suga, the brunette rapper who was doing that stuff with his voice... he does variations of that in multiple songs... one you may be interested from a singer's perspective is Louder Than Bombs both for the vocalists and rappers. Suga also does something rather unexpected in his verse. It's a song ARMY always requests and so far they haven't done it, because apparently it's very difficult for them to do it live... and P.S.. I see some requests for MMA2019... just my word of advice... hold off on that for a good, long while.. basically it has many, many songs some of which are just in instrumental form and to truly get the full artistry of that performance (and trust me... there is NOTHING like it for awards show performances) you'll want to understand more of their discography. :)
19:23 that's just like his signature.. it's intentional, and he always do that even in studio version of their and his songs, and he did that in the studio version of this song too
Everyone will have different suggestions! I'd say overall: any live performance of On is SO worth seeing. The one in Grand Central Terminal is great. I also love MMA 2020, which was live but without an in-person audience. My favorite of their music videos is Black Swan - it's an absolute work of art. And the NPR tiny desk concert is how I started out - Dynamite didn't really catch me (it's fun! I like things with more depth overall) but watching them perform it there really did it, and then they sing two more songs. By the end of the last one I was on my way. In general, watch with captions on or hang out with the lyrics ahead of time; there are always a few layers of meaning going on and no one will be upset with you if you're like "I read the lyrics a few times to try to understand what it's about because I don't want to miss anything." Oh and you also might really like Suga's solo release (as Agust D) Daechwita. It's really amazing. I'm still finding more details in it when I watch it. It's rap, it draws heavily on Korean tradition, and... seriously watching musicians who know production react to Daechwita is my favorite thing. :) There's so much! But overall - almost no matter what your musical tastes, they have *something* in the discography you'll connect with. Earlier years were more raw and darker; they got more polished and changed tone over time. But it's all worth hearing. And your take on your last video - that they seemed really sincere - is absolutely correct. There's a ridiculous amount of footage of these men, and that sincerity is what we love the most, I think. The performances are wonderful, they work really hard - but it's the heart.
Oh yea your going to love this group. There message has always been love, acceptance, and honest truth. They sugarcoat nothing but honestly tell us how life is and how they're feeling in life. And show us how love, whether that be finding the strength and courage to love someone else, or to love yourself first, is important. And how meaningful and healing it can indeed be😊😏💜
new subscriber here, i am enjoy your reaction for BTS 😊 for next video, may I recommend "BTS butter Grammy live performance". since u never see them dancing while sing live, well,, let's start with their Grammy performance 😁
I just found your channel and you made me smile so much during your reaction. I honestly feel you understanding pretty well what is goin on. The massive talent and hard work that is behind this band. Also the togetherness they bring to us with just being themselves all the time, with their love and respect towards each other and to the other people. They have amazing lyrics and beats and you didn't skip any of it, and it was really nice to watch. I am 40 years old Army, now I proudly call my self this, I never been in any fandom before but Army is not even fandom, is a community with 90% of amazing people from all over the world, all ages and backgrounds. I grew up loving music in general, my first love was Tina Turner, then Michael Jackson, Queen, 2PAC, NAS ...but I never felt this amazing feeling of togetherness like these guys made millions off people feel. Thanks for your lovely reactions, please check their music more, they have more than 300 songs under their belt most of them amazing music.
Loving your reactions! It seemed like you thought the first 2 song snippets were the same song, but that was actually the song Like at the beginning and then switched to Look Here 💜 I’m glad you noticed SUGA’s awesome rap squeaks 😂 the way he uses his voice as an instrument while rapping is so awesome.
That was a great reaction, I really enjoyed your thoughts and expertise! It’s hard to believe this video is already a year old, it feels like it just came out last month!!! 😭😭 I look forward to more BTS reactions from you, thank you! 💜
Really enjoyed your reaction and that you took your time, pausing and reading whatever you needed. Like the comparison to Anxiety/being in your own head w/the song
Is anyone standing out to you yet? They're all wonderful and you absolutely do not have to have a bias but a lot of people find one or two of them really kind of catch our eyes the most. And it really is different for different people.
Thanks for the reaction!!! 💜 Your comments on the video are so interesting and informative. I would really like to see your reaction to other BTS works. For example clips: Mic Drop, Dynamite, Fake Love, Not Today, Serendipity, etc. Thanks again for your reaction!💜💜💜
Thank you so much for the kind words 💛 I’m excited to do a full live one and we can all really get to know each other. I’ll top these up on my suggestions!!
Fantastic reaction! Gonna subscribe. Yes, this was a great glimpse into the boys talent, and how fun they are. Great lyricist, composers, producers, rappers and vocalists. Enjoy your trip down the rabbit hole 💜💜💜
loved your reaction. you seem so genuine and your excitement over the songs is really fun to watch!! also love the knowledge drop! btw, don’t know if anyone commented this already, but the last song (Telepathy) which you commented about the lyric “i’m happiest when i’m with you” is actually about the members themselves!! they love each other a lot and are probably closer than family, it’s wild. hope you react to more of them!! 💜
Great reaction! By the way, you should react to J-hope's new solo single called 'More' It's amazing 🔥🔥🔥 It's so different and new for all the armys He's officially debuting and his album is going to be released on July 15th! It's called 'Jack in the box' I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE ALBUM AND HOBIPALOOZA (J-Hope is going to perform at Lollapalooza on July 31st. His performance will make history, cementing him as the first South Korean artist to headline a main stage at a major U.S. music festival). 💜 He has a mixtape called 'Hope World' that was released in 2018 and all the members from BTS have also mixtapes and other solo projects but now they will officially debut as solo artists with albums. 💜 It's crazy because all the BTS' discography is already so diverse but if you want to know them individually too, you will notice how each member has something different and unique to bring to the table and the combination of all o f them it's what makes BTS so special and charming. 🙌🏻
That´s why we are ARMY to the bones. They give us happines all day. A song for each mood and a great message always. Moody, grumpy people, you need BTS in your life. I am 49 and a rock lover all my life. Well there is a before and after BTS in my life. Yeah, grumpy people, take a pill. We are having such a great time.
Most of the members can play instruments at least a little bit, some play instruments well enough where they can play them on stage but they also do intense choreo, so they don't play instruments on stage often. Suga plays piano and guitar. Jungkook plays drums and guitar. Jin plays guitar and piano. V plays piano and saxaphone. Jimin plays guitar and piano. I'm not sure about RM and jhope. All write and produce music as well. Suga, Jungkook and Jin have all played instruments on stage before. Suga on piano, Jungkook on drums and Jin on both piano and guitar.
In Tiny desk performance, BTS has a band performing with them. That might be interesting for you: the live instruments. Still some instrument are recorded to give the fuller sound. Loved your reaction!
