The members were teasing Jin because he used to call his Mum daily and talk for about an hour. He said doesn’t everyone do that looking quite perplexed! He also says he can’t go without his phone any where in case his parents call him. He is very close to them. Before they went back to film ‘In the Soop’, Tae’s mum made a packed lunch for all of them. Jin and Namjoon’s Dads are best friends and all the parents are close to each other and all are very fond of all the boys. It’s wonderful to see such strong bonds between them all. On the topic of phone calls between family members, I have five adult children married and two grandchildren and they still think nothing of ringing me up at all sorts of strange times to ask me questions or converse about something or the other. The latest was my thirty eight year old daughter who is teaching indigenous children in the heart of Australia and loving it but at ten thirty the other night rang me crying because she had killed a spider and now she couldn’t go to sleep because she thought all the other spiders were coming to get her!!! I had to remind her that spiders don’t have the mentality to plot revenge and then ask why she did not wake her husband and tell him she was frightened. She said she didn’t want to wake him! Anyway half an hour of talking about this and that took her mind off it and she decided to be brave and go back to sleep. Even at thirty eight a mother still has to calm her anxious child down and even at that age it’s their mother they want, that’s the bond between mother and daughter, so I can relate to Summer and Abbie. 💜💜💜💜

The relationship between the members and their parents is precious. Taehyungs parents even went to one of Suga’s encore concerts the past weekend 😭

Tae and Hobi's family even vacationed in Hawaii together. And Jin and Joon's fathers are best friends. Like they golf together and Jin and Joon said their dads spend more time together than they do. haha. Jimin once called Hobi's parents on Hobi's birthday to thank them for bringing Hoseok into the world and Hobi and Tae's parents both came to Yoongi's concert. And when Hobi's sister got married some of the members went to the wedding too. They're all just one big extended family and it's SO WHOLESOME.

I really love that their parents get along well with each other and are close with all of the members. There are quite many moments where you can see that they all are actually one big family. Taehyung´s mother made sandwiches and Gimbab for "her sons" when BTS went to film In The Soop. Jin´s mother made them Songpyeon for Chuseok (halfmoon shaped Korean rice cake with filling which is traditionally eaten on Chuseok (sth like a Korean Thanksgiving)). 🥺 Also, BTS´ siblings invited the members to their respective wedding. And a bit about Jungkook´s relationship with his father and Jimin and his father. There was one year when Jungkook´s father drew a portrait of Jungkook for Jungkook´s birthday (Jungkook´s familiy is talented in drawing and Jungkook himself too (he is our Golden Maknae after all😉)) and during a Vlive livestream Jungkook´s dad called him to correct an information about sth that Jungkook said in that livestream seconds ago, meaning: Jungkook´s father was watching Jungkook´s livestream💜. Jungkook dropped everything to pick up the call and gladly corrected himself. 😊 Jimin´s dad sends Jimin a flower bouquet every year for his birthday. There was one year (during their LY or SY Tour) that he even wrote him a card with birthday wishes fully in English. Jimin went and asked Namjoon for translation and Namjoon dropped everything to translate it for him (you can watch it in a Bangtan Bomb). Btw Jimin´s dad seems to be a good hearted person in general. He donated a signed BTS album to a charity organisation to help children in need. 🥺 PS: I know there are many more moments I could mention and write about but I think it´s enough to show that BTS´ relationship that they (at least now) have with their own parents/family and each other´s parents/family is really heartwarming. 💜

Hi guys. I would have to say that my relationship with my mom is a lot like Summer’s. Lol. We talk multiple times a day, except my mom will often forget that she told me things and so half our conversations are me saying “yea mom, you already told me that .😂” also, when I’m busy and tell her I have to go, my mom will keep talking or just say, one more thing and it’s like 10 minute story. One time she left me such a long message that I thought I was speaking with her and was responding to her before I realized it was a message. 😂

You guys are hilarious 😂 I'm italian and I can relate with some of your stories. I think it depends on the relationship you have with the person and their personality. Me and my father are people of few words, he hates making calls so when it happens he goes straight to the point and I'm lucky if he says hi or bye. With my mother there's an intro to the call where we joke around and then we talk about the actual reason for the call, she's also an extrovert so she does most of the talking. With my brothers, we just text unless it's something urgent. Anyways, I wonder what it's like when all bts families are in one room. It must have been chaos 😅

You weren't raised speaking like that. Even my kids were speaking with a Texas draw. Funny!! I could really relate to your parent stories. OMG, My mom use to call everyday with nothing really to talk about and I'd hear the same story over again a lot of the times. Now that both my parents are gone my oldest sister calls quite often and took mom's place. I call my mom (she is 85 years old) twice a day, morning and night, and like you said is nothing to catch up with her, but as she forgets what we talked in the morning it works for us 😅 the only difference at night is that I get her blessing and wish her good night. I love the relationship that BTS has with their own parents and with each others parents. It kinda reminds me of how my parents view my bestie. We have been friends for for such a long time that they are super affectionate and complimentary with her now. And when we were younger they were super strict with me so the first time that happened she told me to look for the alien pod because there was no way my dad had just complimented her. She is use to it now but I can still see her pause a little when they lavish attention on her when she visits.
