Jin's words about taking one's time because following someone else's pace will make you breathless really resonated with me back then. I felt I was falling behind in mi major and was getting desperate while watching others. I decided to listen to him and took my time, I used to fail constantly because I took more classes than I could handle. When I started taking it easier I noticed how much better it was for me, didn't fail a single subject after that. I am now less than two months away from becoming an electrical engineer, so thank you, Seokjin. Time and time again I'm reminded why you're my ultimate bias

3:08 When Jin said," Take it slowly" it hits me so hard that I cried. I graduated fro college 4 years ago today. I feel envious seeing my friends getting the dream job I want. I come to the point where I feel so worthless. By this video I realize Jin understand the kind of situation I am in now. He taught me self love. It seems he is telling me that don't be too harsh on yourself. You are not the only one experiencing this. But please move forward one step at a time. Thank you for this wonderful message BTS.

As someone with ADHD, I always felt lagging behind and hated myself all my life. Jin's speech made me cry. Like he was speaking directly to me. Felt like a hug. Thank you Jin, I needed this

I don't care that I am a 55 year old army. These young men are amazing and a great influence to our youth. BTS you give hope, positivity, strength, compassion and humour to everyone and your a class on your own. 4 years ago i watched this video when i was 14 years old. In that time i was just about to start high school and i thought to myslef " hmm i cant wait to finish high school to watch this again and be proud of myself". 4 years went by so fast its scary ,im 18 years old and about to start college. So many things seemed imposible and hard but i did it and you can too. Just believe in yourself, like BTS said with their beautiful words there is nothing you cannot do, even the smallest person can have such a big dream. To all of the younger Armys who are reading this please enjoy your life and dont take things too seriosly. Smile, laugh, learn and love. Thank you BTS💜

Whoa, Jin, Suga and J-hope had some really powerful messages here. Everyone shared something really meaningful here, but these three seemed to really speak from their adult perspective on what younger people need to hear as they walk into the beginning of adult life. Even many adults need to hear these messages. I also really liked V's message. I have a kid who had a 'slow start' in life, and as a parent you worry. You want your children to have the world open up to them when they grow up, and worry something will block that. It made me smile to hear him share his message. Over a year later, I hope everyone's doing ok. It's been a very tough time, especially for young people. Please believe us older people when we say you can do this, just hold on, this time WILL pass. You matter and the world needs you.

I feel like this doesn't even need to be a graduation speech. This is life motivation for anyone, regardless of age or position of life :))

READ IT CAREFULLY: Jin: It's Jin of BTS. My memory of graduation is a little different. It was before my debut as BTS. I was around 20, just a high school graduate going to university. Back then, the nation of becoming an adult was something quite scary. Anxious about making my way into an unfamiliar world. I was cautious of everything I said or did. Sometimes, I'd feel restless, watching my friends go far ahead of me. An attempting to keep up with their speed would only leave me breatheless. I soon realised that their pace was not on my own. What held me together those times was a promise I made myself: 'To take it slow'. I'd go at my own pace, steadily. From then on, it became a habit of mine to take extra time for myself. For instance, when we learning choreography. I began practice days earlier than the others do. If any of you feels lost in the face of doubt or uncertainty or the pressure of starting anew, don't rush. Take a deep breath. You may find that any moment can be turned into opportunity. Allow yourself to take it easy. Take it one step at a time. You might discover the important things you were missing. And they will reach out to you. Can you feel the loneliness,anxious, pain, but a bunch of hope and positivity in Jin's speech?

It was my award ceremony today for grade 10 and it may not seem like a big deal but my parents didn't come for it. They weren't working and were at home and didn't come for my awards. I saw everyone run to their parents and be embraced by their parents and I felt stupid. I had no one to run to. But I did have a friend who stayed by my side and thanks to that, I didn't shed a tear then. But when I did, I had a friend who made me laugh the tears away. When I got back home, I had a little cake, lit up a candle and proceeded to listen to all of BTS. Thank you. You have succeeded in making my heart feel lighter and for burning the spark of my motivation brighter. I'm grateful to all the people who support me, even the men in Seoul Korea who are rooting for me. Kamsamida. ❤️

Jin's speech seriously was needed. His words reassured me, I am always so worried about how I compare to others and why I am falling back. Similar to Jin I also have o study a week earlier than others and prepare myself for my exams. I'm always bothered on how I am not catching up and how I have to do more than my peers to be on the same path. J-hopes speech also hit me when he said "I decided to trust myself", when he states that there are times in life that you will question your own decisions, I have done this so many times. Suga, says "take your hands off of what you can't control and get your hands on what you can change", from the beginning of high school to now I have so many regrets but those decisions are in the past I can't change it so regretting won't do anything but bring me down. Instead I should remember them as a lesson and next time not do the same mistake or take it into an understanding point of view and acknowledge it, accept it, and move forward in life. Thank you Jin, thank you Jhope, thank you Suga, thank you BTS. This was truly heart touching and reassuring for all of us.

I CAN’T BELIEVE I JUST FOUND THIS!!! I graduated in 2020 and I didn’t get to have a graduation or anything I finished the last exam and that was it. No fanfair. And I felt so alone and depressed I didn’t get to feel that I accomplished anything. So to see this..to see BTS care this much about us..it’s honestly too much..I’m crying because I feel important and acknowledged. They deserve all our love! Thank you so so much. This means the world to me.

Jin’s personal advice really hit me deep. I used to look down on myself and think I was incompetent and untalented because i could not learn things as fast as other people. Then i realized over time that everyone has their own pace and that sometimes you have to just breath and meditate and take things slow. This is why i love these guys so much. They taught me how to love my imperfections and my flaws and that i am amazing the way I am, but also to reach for the stars even when the sky seems unclear. Army for life🙏🏿💜💜💜

Jin’s speech really touched me in a way and perfectly described my life and personality that I can somehow relate to. I am proud to have been a Fan of BTS since the year they debuted in 2013 June. I knew back than BTS will be one day influence a lot of people, grow successfully and gain recognition for their talents. BTS has broken music records, produce well written music with its unique life story that has touched millions and has a fan base that can literally start a country on its own lol.

Hello teens and young adults, I want to echo what Jin said: "...their pace was not my own." This is true even when you enter your 30's, 40's, etc. Some will achieve their dreams faster, some will have their own families earlier, some will earn more financially etc. But remember that we should stop comparing each others' journeys because we will have our own time. Great messages by BTS.

For me, Jin's message was the most relatable and motivational.... i graduate a few years ago, yet i come back to this speech as it is therapeutical to me. Srsly our boys are so wise. Every single one of their sentences has a deep meaning we all need to experiment in life to understand how important that is. i'm in awe facing the beautiful and wide range of colours their bring to Armys life.

I’ve seen many comments similar to what I’m about to write but I guess I just want to add to the overall sentiment. This speech is timeless, universal, and so incredibly comforting. I experienced what I initially saw as a setback at work today, but my mom (also an ARMY) reminded me of Jin’s words. That other people’s pace is not my own. Thank you, BTS, for continuing to be a source of comfort no matter which direction we go. 💜
