I'll never tire of this practice... right up there in the all time favourites list. I honestly dont think we would find anything out of sync in these serious dance practices even if we searched all day lol... they would have scrutinised their positioning and timing in every step before airing it... if something was out they would have caught their breath and went right back into it again. If they aired it then they're satisfied it's their best 💜

This is one of my favorite dance practices of ALL TIME....its just so in sync 💜 I think the only "mistake" is at one point Suga turns the light on by accident 😹

Back then BTS used to practice 12-16 hours a day, they never really slept because in the morning they would be doing performances, recording songs, interviews, photoshoots and in the evening they would practice their dance moves well into the early morning hours. more times than not they pulled all-nighters to perfect their craft. There are many videos and pictures of BTS sleeping in weird positions and random places throughout their beginning years because they were always exhausted. Fortunately 3 years after their debut they won their first music award for the song I Need U. BTS really came from the bottom up and today I can proudly say BTS has officially been nominated at the Grammy Awards for their song Dynamite =D I'm so proud of them!

You're so right about BTS work ethic. They work for hours on end. They are the hardest workers in show business I've ever seen. What's cool about BTS is they all get along with each other so well. You can see they trust each other. Remember when BANG discovered RM, RM was only 16 years old. When Jeonkook joined BTS he was 13 in American years. They didn't come out the the factory system, where there are Idol to mentor other idols to be cookie cutters. They wrote/worked for themselves.. They raised each other. Plus, they are good guys but they all goofballs. It's nice to see that they aren't perfect like some Idols try to act like they are. BTS professionally are amazing but they are just guys.

I appreciate the time, effort, and dedication that goes into a Kpop production. This is just a dance practice. I imagine they also spend hours practicing their singing, rapping, music vids, stage performances, etc. That is level of dedication is very impressive to me. Thanks for this reaction.

One of the best things about BTS dance practice videos is we get to see the entire choreography - music videos edit out so much due to the other visual content going on to help tell the story of the song

Kpop "dance practices" aren't actually them practicing ... it's the finished, polished version with a fixed camera. It's to show the full routine without weird camera angles or close-ups (and see how ALL members move). We DO get to see BTS dancing in rehearsals in the Bangan Bombs, Episodes, and Memories of _____ dvds when they get ready for various live shows. They DO make mistakes and mess up ... and these boys are passionate perfectionists, so they do indeed practice until it's perfect! We love them for giving us their all, and that's why we work hard to get them to chart and win awards and thank them for their music and hard work

Even in their earlier days people noticed how hard they work and how passionate they are about their work. Even to this days they never slack off on practice. 1/3 of their time is spent on practicing. 1/3 of their time is also spent studying about their craft. They are crazy hard workers

You didn’t see that in the music video, because this is their concert/music show choreography. With a few exceptions most of their music videos show parts of the choreography but not the whole thing. I remember watching the mic drop dance practice and being like, “ where was this on the music video?”

This is a good one but they're Truly Insane dance practices are the kinds that completely leave you speechless. I recommend ON, DNA, Mic Drop, Black Swan and Fire. Their dance practices are actually my favorite content of theirs, so if you wanna do more, I'd love to see you react to them.

This was back when their choreography was still very firm and isolated but over time it became more firm & loosen, they were pretty young since this was in 2014. Also, you will notice in allot of their dance practices RM, Jimin and JK are the three that were always wearing timberland boots either taking turns or at the same time. It is more of their completed choreography practice, they rarely ever show behind the scene footage of them practicing unless uploaded clips or short videos of them are leaked or posted by the member / staff. Unless it’s a performance choreography video, they barely show the full dance in music videos.

For the next step in the journey you mIght find it fun to check out some solo works...they will surprise you. RM has "Joke" and "Do You", Suga under the rap alias AgustD has "AgustD" and "Daechwita", a good one for JK is " Euphoria" live at Wembley Stadium, Jimin "Serendipity" and "Lie", V "Singularity" and "Stigma". There's more but these are good places to start. Also if you want your mind blown and feel like doing a long reaction, there's the phenomenal live 37 minute performance at the award show MMA 2019.

You meant synchronization, not syncopated. The first means everything perfectly in time with each other. The second refers to musical term meaning a variety of rhythms played together.

syncopation can also mean: “a syncopated rhythm, passage, or dance step” i agree that i think synchronization works better, but he could have actually meant the meaning of syncopation if that is how he interpreted the music plus dance moves. who knows. 🤷

@@fjp9 I would agree if not for the fact that he was talking about how in time they were with each other. And yes, syncopated can refer to a rhythmic dance STYLE, not how well they performed the style. In dance, when they are saying that something is syncopated, they are usually (not always) referring to the fact that the choreography has more focus on the down beat or off counts. You see it a lot with jazz and swing choreography.

Unfortunately, to get this synchronised there is no secret sauce. Like one of the other comments from ‘ Ailee1292 ‘ below said, it takes hours and hours of practise. Especially since only Jimin, j-hope and jungkook (ie basically, the dance line) came from a dance background. In the early days, RM and Jin used to find it very difficult to keep up, that is why they are towards the back. But over the course of the intervening years, everyone has improved so much in all areas inc. vocals, that they attempt to pull off the black swan mv.
