Artists like him would make u appreciate arts more. One of v's talents is making people fall not only for him but also for the things he'a doing. He sings, dances? He'll make you fall for music. He acts? He'll make you fall for films. He perfoms? He'll make you fall for stages.

Regarding Suga's lyrics... Idols are considered manufactured in the old days when idol system was initially created in Korea decades ago. "Manufactured" means they are trained hard to sing and dance and look pretty in front of the cameras, but lack original artistry because they have no say in their songs and messages - their agency label and producers basically controls everything, and idols just memorize, sing and dance whatever was handed to them. That's why there's a notion that idols are not artists. But that's not the case for BTS (and a handful of other artists before BTS). Even though BTS was created under the idol system, Bang PD gave BTS artistic freedom to be involved in their music and message. However, because of the old general notion about idols, BTS had to fight through that stigma for years and prove themselves as artists and not manufactured performers. BTS would always share with Armys their creative process when writing their lyrics, producing their music, and even their choreography. Bang PD and BTS changed the game and because of that, more and more idols are now allowed and getting involved in their music and showing their own artistry. 😍

Thyrsus is some sort of scepter covered in vine leaves that Dyonisus' followers bore at parties dedicated to him (the Bacchanalia, some very wild sht). This song is probably about them getting drunk on art, on music as if art and music were the booze that gets them drunk. The parties at night they refer to are probably their concerts, where they let go and become absolutely inhebriated with music (liberating themselves from all inhibitions and not caring about haters that call them worthless musicians etc). This song, in which J-Hope had a lot of creative input, is a great example of BTS' love for music by using the metaphor of Dyonisus

They say art is alcohol and if you consume it you get drunk, talking about making themselves and the audience drunk on their art, on their performance and their music. Dionysus is the god of wine, grape harvest, festivity, fertility, epiphany, insanity, ritual madness, religious ecstasy ie euphoria, and theatre which links to performance. and during his festivals his worshippers got closer to the god by getting drunk and playing music and dancing. Both the audience and the performer get drunk on their art so can escape real life. Art is like alcohol because it frees you, you can express yourself through it and show your true self. There's more you should look it up its v interesting! Super smart lyrics. The choreo also has the style of them acting like they're a bit drunk, it's really cool. In other performances I love when Yoongi does his rap he purposely makes it look like he's drunk. It's the same choreographer Sienna Lalau as the ON kinetic manifesto MV and RUN BTS choreo, butter at the grammy's and hobi at lollapalooza!

Dionysus is the Greek god of wine, debauchery, drama, insanity, etc and in the performances of the song there is always Greek imagery and references to Dionysus at the 2019 concerts there were giant inflatable panthers which is the animal associated with Dionysus and the staff Namjoon caries at the beginning is a thrysus which is what Dionysus carries. You should watch the comeback showcase for this song, the choreo was harder and they ended up having to chanfe one bit cuz it was a bit dangerous and MMA performance was life changing.

It’s one of my favourites. It’s an entire package. I particularly like Jim’s low register and wish we could hear more of it. His highs are fabulous too and I am impressed with the ease at which he goes from his low register immediately into his higher register. I am no singer so I am in awe of what these guys are able to do
