I think Shadow will be connected to Abraxas, Wings era and also LY:Tear, because of that Singularity performance and the VCR so full of sparkles of light and heavy darkness...

Please consider my own interpretations... And please tell me if I'm not the only one who thought of these kinds of theory that are usually based on my knowledge... This is my version of theory... So base on my theory, as far as I can remember Grape is the sinners fruit. I just can't really recall if it is in Egyptian Mythology or Greek Mythology but as far as I can remember they both call grape as the sinners fruit. Wine is made out of grape as we all know. People are addicted to the fruit, that one ruler consider it as the sinners fruit for it can make one do things that he don't even recognize. And once is never enough so you'd be coming back for more. Since grape is the sinners fruit, this is the time where Baccus or 'Dionysus' come to be connected on my theory. Baccus or Dionysus is the Greek God of Wine to be more specific. As I've written in the first few parts, the grape is turned into wine but before that it's still a fruit. In the concept photos version 4 of the map of the soul : Persona, 5 members are eating grapes while the two members aren't. In the Save Me storyline, the 5 members whom are eating grapes (also called the sinners) committed something... RM was put in prison... Yoongi, Jimin, Jungkook committed suicide V killed his dad YG, JM, JK and V committed a huge sin for taking theirs and others lives which is also compared to a capital sin based on the Bible. The grapes that they are holding also represents their sins. RM's case was forgivable that's why whe only saw him eating one. Jin and Jhope were the only ones whom are not eating the fruit, but are eating strawberry's instead. Strawberry = Perfection and righteousness. We know Jin is the only one whom is saving the boys, and Jhope is trying to help him after analysing everything that he saw from Jin's car... Strawberry is also the fruit of Athena... Which means Jin and Hobi have more knowledge in what they're doing than the others....

Isn't it terrifying on how they portray every part and stages in the age of getting self-conscious in a simple manner. I'm now depressed with all the knowledge I learnt from the theories and trying to process everything, linking everything then getting hit like a person in front of truck after knowing that Namjoon is clearly trying to love himself but something in him is stopping, which is the side he least loves and insecure or not so proud about it. Which is in most of us, which is not letting ourselves give some love to us. Persona is a version of you which the other people can see, like perfect one. Shadow is a version of you, which is the darker side of you also the real side of you which wouldn't let you go. Which is the side only you know. According to Rm's "Reflection", the mirror shows us a reflection of ourselves. Here the reflection shows the side which you're insecure about. Which you caged to not let others see the real side of yourself which you're not proud and thinking they'd criticize or something. It always wanted to get freedom but we're just caging it up because of the fear if you'd let it go and get judged in this toxic society. Time when we let our reflection out is the time when we start to love ourselves as letting the our reflection free mean we're starting to love ourselves. Accept ourselves. I am really appreciating and respecting all the music producers, song writers, original theory makers, the knowledge collectors, the historic collectors, story writers, BTS who are involved in making this masterpieces for giving me this knowledge to live my life with some clarity and letting me know that it's important to accept out darker side or insecure side to love myself as life is too long to keep on hating myself. Just stumbled upon this video and I loved it so much! I just want to add something tho, in Nietzsche's "birth of the tragedy" he explains the contrast between the Apollinean and the Dyonisian. The Apollinean, from the god Apollo, is linked to perfection and arts such as sculpture while the Dyonisian, from Dyonisus, is linked to everything that Dyonisus represents and music as the most intoxicating art. The Apollinean and Dyonisian can be seen as the perfection and imperfection or as the good side and the bad side let's say so, now that we know that the "Persona" part of MOTS and the "Shadow" part are chained together by this song, I think that, since In Jung's theories the "Persona" represents kind of a perfect mask to hide behind and the "Shadow" represents our imperfections, our true inner self that we don't even know about or, just to quote Freud, our subconscious, the Nitszchean concept of Dyonisian is something that might also have been an inspiration for the song. Hope this makes sense!

The is nothing random in how Namjoon writes his lyrics or how he and Suga compose the Rap lines. From Wings, BST, Persona, etc it is very well laid out. If you read up on Greek/roman mythology as well as Jungian theories it really sheds a lot of light on the entire discography. This is why I love their music so much. It has depth and soul

This video is great! I guessed that Dionysus has a lot of meaning in terms of the storyline I just didn't know to what extent. And also I feel like this song rather than being an outro on this album,it seems to me it's intro or a preview of the next album. I suppose it will be called Shadow . I also want to point out that all the songs on persona have a similar vibe while Dionysus is absolutely different.
I'm guessing that all their albums are connected together. Including their music. Why I think that? If you look in Boy With Luv, you'll see all the names of their albums. If you look back into the Wings era, you would see that V is the fallen angel, and is evil. If you look in BTS' VR videos, and look at V's (I think this is on V app.), you'll see that he doesn't want to be evil. (I'm done explaining this because I'm too lazy. I forgot where I got this idea, but I just know it was from someone's video. so credit to him/her)

So I had finished reading Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods just few days before the album list came out. I was shook tbh... and then suddenly their MOTS version 4 photoshoot made sense. Like they be exposing us to all these different cultures, I am proud of them.

Dionysus indeed gives many persona so he called a forein god in many places (if im not mistaken). Throught its theater, which is city of dionysia, gives a perfect example.. And that connects ot the interlude:shadow.. Suga acts as tragic hero, and they executed it perfectly.. Im not sure if this song is a "dithyramb"..?
