I hate that this vid doesn't explain the global artist award. That award isn't awarded annually, it's only awarded when it's felt someone's deserved it and it hadn't been awarded in YEARS until BTS won it last year.

little behind story. that clip of Suga crying on stage was actually him performing a big bow to his parents who were in the crowd at their concert. a big bow is a show of the UTMOST respect, devotion, and thanks. he literally broke down into tears thanking his parents

RM - Tall, has dimples and is on the tanner side. He looks like a leader and will probably in the front/the closest to an interviewer in pictures. Jin - Very broad shoulders, and sorta small but plump lips (doesn’t make that much sense lol). Also Worldwide Handsome and on the taller side. Suga - 1/2 of the small members. Very pale milky skin and has almost cat-like eyes. Probably looks bored/over it lol. J-Hope - Very prominent features, when he smiles it’s like the sun. He does have the nickname Sunshine. Almost always smiling and energetic, probably jumping around or dancing. Jimin - 1/2 of the small members. Chubby cheeks and plump lips. Look fluffy lol, almost soft. He has a gentle, comforting nature about him. V - Also on the tan side. Has a more prominent nose but not in a as way of that makes sense? Is known for his box smile, you’ll notice when he talks as well. Probably the best dressed, he’s know for his Gucci and good fashion taste. Jungkook - Also very tall. He does look more feminine but has so much muscle. Like very buff if he’s wearing the right thing. His nickname is muscle pig if that doesn’t say enough just watch a video lol. Has a thin upper lip, a small scar on his cheekbone and when he smiles he looks like a bunny. That was a lot sorry he’s my bias lol.

Again your reactions are refreshing and you are all very open minded and eloquent. BTS story motivates me to a daily. It shows that true success never comes easy. I really dislike it when people call them a sensation (sensations are normally just one hit wonders and ones who shoot into fame immediately after debut). BTS took 2 years to even be remotely valued in Korea, their home nation. But they never changed their motivation to make music. They always make music from their hearts and they spread the messages they want to share through their songs. Their dynamic is unparallelled. The group is definitely one in a million. How can you manage to get together 7 equally talented, humble, genuine men who support and care for each other so much and share the love to the world. Also i kinda want us to be called the Butternut Squad 😂😂 cuz of that butternut in the last video but whatevs hahaha keep going guys! And with their names, no worries. You can identify them as time passes. Seeing as you are genuinely interested in them, you won't find it difficult to recognize their faces sooner or later.

the sad thing is that since day one bts has been producing amazing quality music, not just their title tracks (like most k-pop groups) but their albums as a body of work. it's just that the gp didn't even bother to get to know bangtan so their music wasn't able to reach a wide audience. ask any new fan of bts and they'll say they wish the could've discovered the boys sooner.

That part, at 18:34, where you said they're all out of breath while going up the stage to receive their award... that's because they just finished a performance that lasted around 23 minutes, literally, making that part of the award show their mini-concert. After they performed, they had to go back to their seats, then back up the stage to get their award. Nuts, huh. You should watch their full set of the performance at the MAMA 2017. Honestly I just gotta say I haven’t been this excited to watch a reaction video in a long time. The concert from the clip with suga bowed all the way down crying was so touching. It was their first performance in the largest stadium in Korea. It was sugas dream to perform there someday and they completly sold it out two night In a row. At the end suga went to bow and went down to the deepest most respectful bow and began to sob. I cried with him when I saw that. They deserve the world.

heres something i noticed: in another video you said you were trying to save for an apartment, and the few videos of yours i've (binge) watched all exceed 30 minutes yet you don't seem to put ads in your videos. this was literally the first thing i noticed and idk if it's intentional but i applaud you for it bc i know youtubers who put 7 ads in one 10 min video to milk it as much as they can. usually it's a trait i dislike but when you have such long videos and try to save for a move, you definitely could put in several ads! you also mentioned another site (i'm not very familiar with it, sorry) where people can donate? i really usually don't don't do that kind of stuff but you guys, in contrast to others who react for clout and money, really take the the time to actually LEARN about the things you watch and y'all have my mad respect for that (especially you and your friend on the far left - i love how you say that make up doesn't take away from masculinity or that deciding to take a smart business decision doesn't mean you're selling yourself. i'm not overly familiar with making money in youtube or other platforms but damn, rather than some if these over hyped people who make cash for bullshit videos i really think you guys deserve it more. you've got yourself a new subscriber! something i want to add about bts and them being from a small company: you already know that there are the "big 3" and that music shows in Korea are brutal. bts overcoming all these big 3 groups is not the only thing we're proud of. the kpop fandom can be quite toxic and even until this day, it's basically a bts vs big 3 thing - fans of other groups band together to bring down bts, they make petitions, jimin has gotten three serious death threats in the last 3 years, they try to sabotage their success in anyway we can and i know there are people who will fight me on this and people who says armys are toxic or obsessed with protecting bts, but that is BECAUSE of these things. when bts got nominated for the BBMAS, other kpop groups banded together to mass vote for the other nominees, when taehyung's grandmother died they made fun of him and poster disgusting pictures, saying it should have been him that died instead, when jimin struggled with his body image they called him fat and useless etc etc. bts only ever had army to protect them, and we've learnt that the hard way. big 3 groups have the privilege of a rich company that can give them a lot of exposure during and before debut. this alone gives them a bigger chance to at least be known by the general public and build a fan base. bts didn't have that - they worked from nothing to something. in korea, to appear on a music show and gain exposure, the company actually pays for the groups screentime and stage, so big 3 groups have an easier time getting air time. (of course that alone doesn't guarantee them success, their fan base grows with their talent, but it does mean they're one step ahead.) so bts coming this far is a milestone no one ever has achieved without some sort of backing from their company. we're proud of that.

I understand how yall feel about being invigorated. I used to create so much content, grind, lose sleep so I could create but after a year I just got burnt out. Ever since finding BTS Ive been inspired and creating again and just feeling like picking up those dreams and things I loved but had set aside for reality. Honestly that video can't representing what BTS had been trough. Well BTS really trough so much difficulties. They were accused plagiarism because of same wardrobe, same hair colour, same concept for fotoshoot. They trough member dead treat , false accusations, Sajaegi issue (brought your own album to increase ranking in korean chart), media black out, etc. It almost ruined their career until BigHit maked legal action, n WON. BigHit even asked to south Korean government to investigated their own company just only to proof thay are clean. BTS even though south korea media black out when he received Billboard Awards for the first time. Sadly isn't it, but thank goodness ARMY are with them. You can check all of them by googling it. But I have a problem w this vid (nobodies to legends) because they didn’t really talk about this one specific hardship they faced(I don’t remember the year exactly but I’m pretty sure it was in between 2015 and 2016 one of those years,, but other fanbases accused them of saejaegi which is basically when the company buys a crap ton of albums to inflate the numbers and also accused for copying other groups concepts and stuff. Essentially they were accused of plagiarism. And that was a really hard time for them, it happened the day they got their very first win on a music show and everything(hashtags circulated). It was hard for fans and BTS because the fandom(and group) was so small, fans were worried that everything would get worse so some fans tried to apologize for whatever bullshit bts was accused of. And in one of their recent concerts of their last tour during a vcr they had saejagi and Plagiraism Boys(that’s what they were called) on the screen. And it was really moving because you see that they have moved forward from the dark times and they acknowledged that it happened but they’re over it. This is my personal opinion and that this scandal should’ve been included in the video because it really deeply affected them. Anyway,, thank you for all the content!! Y’all are all good on the knowing there faces thing when I first got into them I literally kept thinking v was jimin and jimin didn’t exist. Like whenever I’d see jimin I’d think “oh he’s cute but who is he” and whenever I’d see “v” I’d be like “oh it’s jimin” 😂😂 but yea it takes some time I learned to distinguish them by watching videos of them just talking and hanging out cuz when u see their personalities it all begins to match with their faces and now it’s impossible for me to mix them up because they’re all soooo different

So I did watch this video till the end but I cant think of a name for the notification squad. I can not even say how happy and how proud I am of these seven amazing guys. I am honored and happy to be able to say that I was apart of Army since 2013. It really is incredible to see where they came from, its even more incredible to have gone through that journey with them. I still remember the exact day and moment when I discovered this remarkable group of boys.

I'm glad there are vids of these. Its heart warming to see genuine reactions like this, not just cuz BTS got popular and you're trynna profit off of em, but cuz y'all seem to enjoy em.

I'm months too late in seeing your reactions, but I enjoyed it! By the way, Suga was sobbing while bowing on stage in one of their concerts because that was when his parents attended their concert in full-support of him for the first time ever. Suga's parents were against his choice to pursue music and they did not support him when he moved to Seoul as a teenager. Suga had to support himself that's why he was broke most of the time and had to juggle part-time jobs while training under Big Hit. It took a while before his parents became okay with his decision (just before their debut, if I recall correctly but even they were okay, they still did not openly support him to continue with music). So in that concert, Suga did not expect that both his parents would actually show-up so he did the traditional bow but couldn't stop himself from crying.

Seriously it makes me really happy! I honestly do not remember how i learned to recognize them so well but i remember watching the DOPE M/V multiple times because it was a good song but as i kept watching their characteristics and features were so vivid and clear and I could recognize them quicker each time. Every time they go to award shows They don’t expect to win anything They think that just being able to be there is enough and it shows enough Even though they want to be bigger and get better Every time they win something it comes as a surprise to them They are suddenly filled with joy but also fear as what they are going to do next and all the responsibilities of being bigger and getting bigger Every speech they make after winning an award always begins with “ARMY” and ends with a big “THANK YOU” In between of the speech is always them thanking everyone who helped them and their parents and their small company They are always so humble even though they came so far and got so high and bigger than anyone They still get stay so humble Bc they know how it was to start from the very very bottom With only 200 or 300 fans watching them to over a million watching them From filling only 200 seats outside with a small stage to over filling a whole dome or a whole stadium Other people may say that other idols start from the bottom up But in my opinion I really think that they really started from the very very bottom

Story time: You know when Suga is on the stage crying, that's the moment he spots his mom and family in the audience, and they're playing in a big venue for maybe the first time (?). He just collapses down and sobs, because he didn't have the best relationship with his parents because he defied them in order to run away and pursue underground rapping and music when they just wanted him to study and work like everybody else. Seeing them there in the crowd meant they acknowledged him, and that he fought through all that shit, being so poor and on the street and scrapping for every last bit, having his shoulder crushed in an accident during a parttime job, etc etc etc...And when he saw his mom there in the audience to witness his achievements and acknowledge him, he lost it big time.

Ok but you guys trying to identify them was totally me my first few weeks but don't worry soon you'll be able to tell them apart by just their hands or eyes. Not that that's creepy or anything. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The fact that iv'e seen most of these videos millions of times but i continue to see yall's reactions because you guys are so respectful and genuine people unlike these other RU-vid channels who react to BTS, many people don't have to like BTS everyone is entitled to their own opinions but how could you not like them they're such hardworking humble people and one thing is that if others don't like BTS or care for them at least show them some respect for all they have done not for themselves but for others too they help a lot of people and visit like for example senior citizens living in rough conditions bringing them food, visiting schools to talk to children and enjoy the moment and donating money to organizations and each member donating not just the company.....anyways my point is you didn't have to do these videos but you choose to because you guys seem like you want to know more about them and you guys respect them and then Paul i think it was getting watery eyes i feel you it's the fact that being happy for others accomplishments when they deserved it and that's what this world should be about supporting each other no matter who it is(: and i'm glad i came across you guy's and hope you too, all of you will keep going no matter what it is that your doing, and just be happy (: #BTS #ARMY #FIGHTING

The thing with k-pop & bts is that the sound is so familiar, for most of us growing up we have heard everything from pop to hiphop etc so the sound in that sense is familiar yet its something new with how they mix it/present it & cool, merging singing & dancing to a whole new lv but also using their platform to spread positive messages & awareness. But also, Korean is a fun language with a soft roll to it (im no expert this is just how I see it) & mixing it with the english is the hook to have a reference, which from there on makes it easier in a way to catch on to the korean parts & sing along, even if not understanding much or any of it. For me that turned teen 1990 I wish we had this style back then. Dont get me wrong, we had a lot of awesome music & our own groups that got marked down in music history, which bts most definitely has been aswell, but there is a flair to the music today, the dancing brings part of that also, that I dont think we had back then. I got into J-rock (Gackt) back in my late teens which was that extra I was looking for. Always enjoyed music of all kind, from Pavarotti to Halloween but music got boring almost, still enjoyed it but was few wow moment. Then I got into asian horror movies & heard a k-pop song via one of them back in 2011, After school & via them became a fan of Miss A but somehow I missed the rabbit hole, didnt have internet back then so most likely the reason, but then someone mentioned Bigbang in late 2014 & down the rabbit hole I went...! I dont know, I may be "old" but it brought back that passion for music again, it was fun, heck even cleaning is easier with k-pop blasting trough ya ears lol It was a familiar sound, music memories from my youth popped to mind, yet it was new & so much fun to listen to & so damn catchy! As Rm said & as many said before him, music transcends countries & languages, gender, "race" (I dont believe in race, we have ethnicity, but we are all humans) & age! & whether or not its one cup of tea, still gotta give kudos for what they achieved trough hard work & talent. Many western artists could learn alot from them, humbleness for ex. Good reaction by the way, im just on a random youtube spree so Ill move along now but thumbs up! :)
