Yeah, I was just thinking how insane all their live performances during the pandemic were. The whole performance for Butter on the Bridge, their Dynamite performance for Cordon on the plane, them replicating Cordon's studio in Korea too, their Dynamite performance for AGT at Lotte world, their every single performance for BTS week at Jimmy Fallon, them replicating the Grammy venue for their 2021 performance of Dynamite, and even the Yoongi hologram that they used for MAMA 2020 on top of the gorgeous set..... the budget and the production was insane. They truly utilized what they have and show the world how you can do versatile and engaging live performances if you are doing it online and that is no exaggeration. Like they have performed Dynamite and Butter so many times but no performance looks alike and I love that.

Right! Jimin didn't sing until he was a trainee, and even then he had such a short traning period compared to the rest, it's actually so impressive to think he debuted singing as much as he did right off the bat, while dancing as impressively as he does. All of them have worked so hard and improved so much. Love them all 💜

Yes lve said this many times they all had singing and dancing lessons except jimin..he said in an interview he would watch the lessons and practice himself til 4 am. Some of the guys had training for years jimin training was 6 months. That's why he is so hard on himself. AND then when you guys jin all the credit for harmonizing, so we'll doesn't make jimin feel anymore confident.

@@blarmy827 love there's a reason i mentioned just jimin & jin here in my comment cuz, as you can see i hv timestamp to their perticular comment about Jin having 0 experience with singing prior to joining bighit, they said that after listening to harmonization of jin & jimin..so i just wanted to point out that along with jin, jimin also had 0 experience in singing before joining bighit.. *and that ppl tend to forget often* , I didn’t mentioned Tae cuz I was talking about that specific comment after listening to jimin & jin’s harmonizing high note😊 to add yes i totally agree that Jin, Jimin & *Tae* as well had literally zero experience in singing before becoming trainees..as about jk..yes he was trained by vocal coaches along with other vocalists as a trainee, and leaned vocal technicalities in singing & how to use his voice better, but he had lil, if not much experience in singing before joining compared to other 3.. out of 4 vocalists, only 1 was actually scouted because of his vocals (Jungkook from his Superstar K audition). Jin was a film major in uni and was street-cast for his visuals, V went through auditions (that he went to only as moral support for his friend) because of his visuals(I’ll elaborate later), Jimin went through because of his dancing..in short “Jungkook is the only vocalist who actually passed the BH audition as a vocalist. Jin and V were recruited as visuals, and Jimin was recruited as a dancer… now to be more specific, as jin was only recruited cuz of his visuals, but once he was in he started taking singing lessons and dancing lessons and has improved in astronomical ways…Taehyung was casted by "accident". He wasn't going to auditioned but they liked his visuals. Turns out Taehyung has one of the most impressives and unique voice tone which is baritonic liric…which was rare in k-pop vocalists..& that’s how he was selected now known as amazing singer with Unique, warm & soulful voice with great vocal range (personally my fav along with jk in terms of singing in vocal line) .. Jimin was casted because he was the top dancer of contemporary dance at his art school. He is the main dancer (alongside J-hope). Jimin focus was supposed to be dancing but Jimin has a quite unique voice. Is very angelic and high..he didn’t had any vocal experience, & he has mentioned before how he never had the chance to take vocal lessons along with jin, Jungkook & Tae (shortest training period in BTS) that's why there were times he's really having a hard time.(There's an interview of a vocal teacher that mentioned they only taught jin, Jungkook & Tae) Despite of all that, he debuted as a lead vocal.. He acknowledges both his shortcomings and his strength, a very hardworking & dedicated dude indeed.. Jungkook is the main vocalist for a reason!!! He was the only one who had singing experience before BigHit audition and he was casted by a lot of agencies before but decided to stay because of Namjoon. Jungkook has a beautiful voice and it's amazing how he maintains stability while dancing…(as I mentioned earlier along with Tae, my fav in vocal line as vocalist) BTS vocal line is one of the most unique vocal lines. They all have very very different voices but it blends together perfectly. And that's on that..in short.. Bighit was a small agency and they took chance on who had that thing to improve and be good. It's called vision…and their vision was correct, cuz we got 4 amazing, hardworking vocalists in BTS.. biggest example of hardworking, perseverance and overcoming obstacles.

Their vocal coach mentioned to Tae hard work ( the other members did either) Tae practiced really hard to hitting high notes and she realized the notes of BTS songs are higher and higher she was amazed at Tae's hard work for that and his vocal skills always improve. ARMYs tend to forget or never know about that. It's pretty rare to find people pointing out his effort & hard work. It is even harder for him as a Baritone sings on a Tenors range, efforts pay off that's the key. BTW they are improving so much and getting better and better.

I'm really looking forward to their solo albums.. specially vocal line.. they'll grow more as artists.. I'm anticipating Tae & Jimin's album the most.. Jimin only had six months before debuting and he was a dancer not a singer . It's very impressive that he was doing so good right the beginning. Even though he was having hard time, comparing himself to others for years,I think know he knows where are his strength and his difficulties.

That’s right! In addition, Jimin suffered a lot because haters bullied him and called him a pig because of his cheeky face, and that led him to go on very strict diets that affected his health. Among the members of BTS they made a ranking of beauty and in some videos reference was made to Jimin being the least handsome, placing him in the No.7 position. Then over the years, those same ones highlighted how handsome he was. But at that time there were even death threats towards Jimin. He didn't have it easy. Fortunately, he overcame some obstacles, but even to this day, RM says that Jimin demands attention, and it is because of the inferiority complex that those haters created for him. Such a handsome boy and such a complete professional as Jimin is… Incredible!!

KMA is the korean grammys and they flat out stated he was the reason they nominated Fake Love- so Jin is the reason for one of their earliest korean 'grammy's', he was named a silver vocalist by the american grammys- the only one in the group to be given a title. Several vocal coaches have praised his vocals- why are replying to me, and talking so boldly when you dont even know how elevated Jin is. It's not a narrative if its based on facts.

Yes! Was looking for this comment. Jimin was trained in dance but not singing. He barely even got singing lessons while he was a trainee. He asked to sit in on JK's and V's? vocal lessons and practiced on his own. I was amazed at this set that BigHit made for this song. The fun they have in this video is hilarious to watch.
