Imagine them, all seven of them, the last ones alive. They sit in a circle near the cornucopia, refusing to kill each other. Snow watches them closely, mercilessly even. He tells the game makers to send out all they have, to tear these seven apart. Except they cant. No matter what the put out into the game, the seven protect each other. They’ve looked into each other’s eyes and they’ve learned each other’s lives before these wretched games. The bond can’t be broken, and they are stronger than the Capital when they are together.
