He had fake tattoos on both his face and neck during the ON music videos, and they re-apply it for performances of those songs.
Jimin doesn't have tattoos along his arm. Those were temporary ones that were done for a photo shoot. He only has 2 that we know of (Nevermind and 13).
Amanda Michelle I’ve seen bandaids on his arms when he wears short sleeve shirts, but he mostly wears long sleeve shirts. And the bandaids are always in the same place (for months) so tattoos are my best guess.

People in the public eye don’t really smoke, so no, BTS doesn’t really smoke. It was for the sake of the video. But they do drink a TON, and Korean night life is very much alive, including smoking and drinking.
This was particularly for the video shot but Yoongi does actually smoke cigarettes. It's a common knowledge among the veteran armys. One other member smokes cigs too. Some do vape. And there are non-smokers in the group too. Smoking is very common in Korea as well as drinking unlike drugs. They're adult grown men, of course they can smoke and drink alcohol, armys..

Generally speaking, Kpop idols are expected by their management companies to present a ridiculously squeaky clean image ie behave well in public, no excessive drinking, no drugs or smoking, romantic relationships are discouraged and/or are kept secret for as long as possible to avoid losing fans. However, behind closed doors they are just like everyone else. A lot of BTS' appeal is owed to their character and personalities and the fact that their management has given them the freedom to express themselves so openly with their fans. They've pretty much been given free reign to be themselves in front of the rest of the world. If you watch vids of Korean music award shows, they're always having the most fun, being loud, acting goofy while all the other straight laced and prim and proper idols act like emotionless bots. Their appeal transcends just the music, dance and message. You'll see through these fan made vids and BTS' own shows that they are just humble, decent, loveable guys.
the most “popular” members are definitely taehyung jungkook and jimin but in reality they’re all extremely popular and we all love every single member there’s no real “one that we all love” because we literally just adore them all

3:33 to answer your question about smoking in Korea. it’s actually super common there, like VERY common, amongst regular Koreans. there are even designated “smoking areas” set up in certain places. of course not everyone does it, but it’s not unusual to see them smoke. but, it’s looked down on for idols to smoke. the clip you paused on was from what’s called the Love Yourself Highlight Reel, and it was for acting purposes. there are definitely idols that do smoke though, they’re just good at hiding it. as far as we know, Yoongi (Suga) used to smoke when he was in the underground scene. we don’t know if he still does. Taehyung (V) has been seen with a juul in a few recent photos. it’s not uncommon at all for Koreans to smoke, even idols, because as i said earlier, it’s just super super common there.
^^^ but just wanted to correct the fact that V smokes. It actually wasn't a juul the one in the picture but part of his sunglasses(the sticks..I don't know the name sorry English is not my first language), there are other pictures of that day that show it.

As for your question about why everyone loves jimin, its because there's nothing to not like. He's a very dedicated, passionate and hardworking person. His stage presence is no joke.He's very self aware and constantly works to improve himself. Him being adorable and good looking is just a cherry on top. Also hes very kind and expressive person. Also I must say that when new people watch most of the introduction videos it paints jimin as an insecure person but i just wanna tell you that its quite opposite actually. He's just extremely critical about himself and isn't afraid to say it. He's a very confident person and it can be seen if you know the boys for some time.

Hi! Loving your reactions! I just wanted to respond to your comment that everyone loves Jimin. First of all, it's true. Everyone loves Jimin because he's an absolute ANGEL and he's just so kind and talented and charismatic. If you don't love Jimin, there must be something wrong with you. But please don't get the wrong impression. For sure the reality is that some of them are more popular than others but but please don't take that like there's a "Justin Timberlake" or "Adam Levine" in the group. You can really get a warped impression if you just go by the comments. Certain demographics are more vocal than others and a few of the members have a lot of solo stans who are very very loud. Each and every one of them is ridiculously loved and supported and any ARMY worthy of the title is OT7 (which means they love and support all of them--even if they have a personal bias). Anyway, just remember that the ARMYs who watch reaction videos and leave comments are not the entirety of ARMY and it's a much more even distribution than you might think. They're all of them very very very loved and supported. :)

Btw: ARMY is an acronym that many people think is silly. I happen to see value in it, especially since they named us. -A-dorable -R-epresentative -M-Cs for -Y-outh. Lovable to ourselves and others, and fighting alongside BTS to speak for those whom society gives no voice. (ARMY has many philanthropic and educational programs.) Their philosophy has remained the same from debut to now, and imo deserves great respect. Also, I love their eyes. The shape, the kindness, the elegance, and the intelligence. Especially RM's. 😋

Smoking in korea Im a moderate smoker and spent a month in korea a year ago so heres what i know. Smoking is pretty common, definitely more so than in western contries. They are starting to pull away from it now, with more and more regulations. Heres some interesting facts: Smoking indoors is not uncommon in korea, most nightclubs have an indoor smoking area (often a big glass box inside, or a little room, sometimes with no door. Its banned, but some clubs and resturants allow smoking inside with no designated area. A few resturants do have a glass smoking box inside as well. Smokes are extremely cheap in korea (6-7000 won/7$ aud) It is considered rude for younger people to smoke in the presence of an older person. I found it interesting that when you ask for a lighter koreans tend to light it for you rather than hand the lighter back and forth. Some koreans look down on women smoking, and its less common for women to smoke. Korean (and Japanese) airports have smoking areas near the gates (which is amazing to for me when i am between long haul flights) All this being said i HIGHLY doubt that bts smoke, there would be no way they could keep up thier dancing and singing skills while being a smoker.

RM’s English is pretty good, but he switches between US and British at times 😬 the guys have different “accents” but my Korean is REALLY minimalistic and I cannot ways tell when there are different accents so I can imagine it might be similar for someone not native to English.... but sometimes he does it on purpose.... typically when referencing Harry Potter 💜😅💜. This might be the first time I see introduction video that does not include their real names but just the stage names. You might wanna learn their real names too since it may be confusing to see comments about (Jung) Hoseok, (Kim) Namjoon, (Min) Yoongi and (Kim) Taehyung not knowing that they're J-Hope, RM, Suga and V (in that order). Jimin is just (Park) Jimin, Jungkook is (Jeon) Jungkook - can be written Jeongguk - and Jin is (Kim) Seokjin.
That smoking clip was just a clip from a music video. If you watch Carpool Karaoke with James Cordan, you'll hear Suga say that Post Malone smokes too much, so I'm pretty sure he doesn't.
smoking is VERY frowned upon. that clip was just for a highlight reel they did:) personally I wouldn't care if they smoked or not, it's their life. But I doubt they would, as they're singers and wouldn't want to ruin their vocal chords :)
Smoking and drinking in Korea is very common. But smoking in particular is seen as a bad influence so you wont see ANY celebs doing it openly. Drinking culture however is HUGE. And for some reason they dont see it as bad as an influence cuz even the most clean-cut celebs will drink openly amd talk about it lol. Koreans are known to DRINK and its common to see people pissed drunk on the streets stumbling around lol. But its also seen as a social activity. For example at workplaces its common for the manager to take his workers out drinking after work most weeks and you'd be seen as anti-social if you didnt go. But back to BTS. Suga and Jimin are the biggest drinkers in the groups and V hates drinking hahaha but yeah they do drink on camera and openly talk about it. Its how they grew up.

About their greeting, all Kpop groups have their own specific greeting, but also generally I think everyone introduces themselves. I don’t know how their greeting was before but there was a show called CELEB BROS where youngest member JungKook chose to spend the day with industry senior boyband member MinWoo of Shinhwa. In that program MinWoo mentioned how the first time he met BTS that their greeting was a bit messy so he helped them tidy it up
As far as I know BTS members don’t smoke and it makes sense because with amount of singing and dancing they do, their health is their priority as it’s always in their wishing list “Be healthy, not getting sick or injured”. So I believe the picture you saw Suga holding a cigarette was just one of scenes in MV. I am not sure if I get this right or not but did you mention about a cool graphic of a guy on fire shaking hand with Suga? If so, I just want to let you know that it wasn’t a graphic but it was real, an actual person on fire. It’s the music video “Fire” (of course), there is the making or behind the scene of “Fire” mv, you could check it out after the mv. A lot of things in BTS videos that you think it’s CGI, it’s actually real. It’s so much fun to watch the making of their music videos. Alright I am going on to your next video now ok 🙂

Yes V was the one with the neck tattoo in ON (its temp) Yoongi had the cigarette as part of the video, cigs are common I think but not allowed on TV in Korea. He's alluded to smoking/quitting smoking in some places but its never been like seriously discussed or anything. Personally I made the assumption that he used to smoke and quit

The smoking was for a MV that was part of the Bangtan Universe... a FICTIONAL story that has all the members playing themselves in totally opposite lives. It's complex and confusing and it follows through 7 + MVs (music/movie videos). It's a whole thing... You might want to forget it until you've seen more of their music and reality shows. (Oh yeah, they have a fun reality series called "Run BTS" 98 eps so far). They also have a travel series where they shoot their vacations in different places around the world. And there is a video game called BTS World where you can become their manager... it can be a bit much but you won't be bored... There's always something new to see. Hahaha.. welcome to ARMY.
I lived in korea for a bit and smoking is very popular in korea. However, this clip of suga smoking was from a music video and as far as we know he does not smoke. But smoking culture in korea is a thing. They see smoking as a way to build social connections at work and in other important situations. the term "getting fresh air" is often used there and in "smoking a cigarettes" and not actually getting fresh air. I think in general in America, we frown upon smoking cigs at least within the past 20 years. Korea is known to be a high stress society and so smoking is more common due to stress levels and extreme societal pressure.

idol wise smoking is pretty frowned upon especially when it comes to marijuana there have been even cases of an idol being seen or caught by dispatch and they have been pulled out of their group or worse when they even leave or even get kicked out their entertainment
7:37 it is not a graphic he’s actually on fire for the video and you can see it in the behind the scenes of them shooting the video!! they set him on fire for the scene and then put it out immediately after with an extinguisher!
