I see many levels in each song/story from BTS. We would be missing a huge human element if we disregard the connection between members, that might inspire the author. The members are the universe to each other as well. Knowing the desires and the hearts of those close to you can inspire connections between real life stories and fiction. I feel the stories and nuances to destiny and fate in real life bring forth such lyrics. Namjoon writes lyrics from the love and heartache that he experiences from those close to him. It isn't a far reach to see that perhaps the lyrics are simply about the journey of 2 people who were brought together by chance...and became each others world. ❤

why am I crying? such a beautiful explanation, and it also reminded me of the ending of of The Little Prince, as well as the author (himself). One thing I'll like to point out - is that water may also be associated with Jimin because he is a dancer, who majored in contemporary/modern dance. I know J-hope/Hobi is the main dancer, but he and Jimin have different dancestyles. Jimin's dancing style due to his background, is a little more fluid/relaxed or smooth; his transitions do not seem as sharp/edgy as J-Hope's. Just like water, which is quite fluid and tends to be a force that moves according to elements around, Jimin (or his character in BTS world) has a fluid dance style, can react/act according to the way others act/react to him; and perhaps lives life according to each day/what comes his way. The Little Prince had that tendency to live life in the present, although he was very wise indeed.

Each of his LIVE Saturday evening AUDIO sessions featured one of the members role reading a story with him as narrator. In the 6th session, it was Jungkook’s turn. Suga chose to read from Guess what, The Little Prince! It was a treat. We all know that JK is not a reader (like RM, Suga, Jin and JImin are known to read), and he rarely finishes a book by his own admission. But TLP is one book he did read and recommends. Suga pointed out to him that the ROSE we spend much time to care for is the rose we end up treasuring most, even if there are a multitude of roses out there. I was reminded of your analysis... Just thought I’d share.

Throughout the video I was honestly waiting for you to talk about the storyline that the song is a part of through the Love Yourself Trilogy. You can view the song as a message for army, but you should also draw attention to the fact that the song depicts the early stages of being in love and the intoxicating feeling of happiness that comes with it. I absolutely accept that the song could have multiple meanings at the same time, it'd just be nice for them to be covered, especially since the storyline is amazingly put together and has a truly important message to get across.

In this song there is a feeling of love a song I listened while writing my love to baba...thsi song and the entire story has so many elements. It's an art. The sea ,the ball, the rose, water. Everything. All things connect and mingle and its beautiful and wholesome

One of the MV theories is that Serendipity is based on the book, The Little Prince - where the golden-haired Prince is an aviator who lives on an asteroid in space and he comes to earth in the opening scene . I recommend watching bookish theories review of Serendipity and all BTS MVs - you’ll be amazed. RM wrote this song for Jimin. Another theory is that the blue mold refers to Yoongi and that this song may be describing the relationship between RM and YOONGI or JIMIN and YOONGI.
