Tre Flo I’d argue that the live is the must-see for the newer viewer and the MV is more significant if you’re following the Bangtan Universe. What do you think?
Ya the MV doesn’t feature the full song and, although beautifully shot, makes little sense to the casual BTS watcher without having knowledge of the storyline.
The mv wouldnt have been a good choice for a first time listen because it cuts the song, and one cant focus fully on the lyrics and melody, which is the core of this song. The live version is a must see though, especially with forehead Jin in their last Seoul concert 😍

His covers and song has been multiple times mentioned and praised by Grammy's.KMA the most reputed Korean music association selected fake love as nomination. Being jin on of the reasons his emotional voice and later the song also won song of the year .💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
BTS always have a message, that's why ARMY love them so much. They have literally saved my life with their music, lyrics, messages, and personalities. The most healing and comforting voice and song... This song made me army... Initially i used to love jin buy gradually that love turned into mad respect...he encourage me to work hard..i love jin.. I love bts❤️
The B and S Show The people who upload lyric videos get them up as fast as they can after the songs drop. We never consider any translation as 100% accurate. Maybe they added the CC ones later after they reconsidered? Personally, I read at least 3 versions from different sources for more nuance and consensus when I really want to know a Korean song. The language is so tricky to translate into English. 🤓

The official mv and the live versions are pure art... Jin's voice and the message of the song always make me cry but I have to listen to Epiphany at least once a day. 💜
Thank you for your reaction! Jin singing LIVE is AH-Mazing. He doesn't lip sing, and it's like he ate the CD for breakfast. There is also nothing like hearing an entire stadium full of fans singing "I'm the one I should love" with Jin. It's a very beautiful experience.
Fun fact if you are talking about the band "Duran Duran"(if mistaken I apologize), that is the favorite band of BTS label BigHit CEO Bang Si-hyuk. His love for music started with them and his love for boy bands started there.
I like jin as much as I like bts. At first, I liked other members too! I still love them all!! But keep liking bts and you'll find out. jin is my bias! forever! And I'm Korean.
Yes, BTS has a theme and a message. They've been exploring their own issues since their debut. In the wings era (and before) they actually spoke about their faults and how difficult it was to accept themselves. In the Love Yourself era they really came to grips with loving other people, the torment of one-sided love, and how hard it is to love oneself. Finally, in LY - Answer (this song is the trailer to that album) they realized that it is impossible to love/receive love from someone else if you don't love yourself first. btw, I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but Jin learned the piano just for this song...( He wanted to play it live in concerts.)
That's what makes BTS unique and special, their message. How many other artists do you know whose lyrics are deep and meaningful consistently. Jin's voice is amazingly strong, a lot of people are surprised when they first hear his solos. His live performances are even better! 7 extremely talented guys, they rap, sing, dance, write, produce and play instruments.
6:22 i think thats what it made them stand out of the rest of korean groups i don't know if u did notice or not but all the korean groups are talented . that was really genius of the ceo of the company that bts is under he changed the game he said i won't just create groupe as the rest of the industry does i m goin to show their personalities their dreams thoughts fears values so the viewers won't just see the fancy intro to an idol but a human being they can relate to i think thats the reason they are so big
It's a song you should listen to when you're feeling being neglected. The words hits you and you'll feel a warmth spreading from your heart throughout your entire body and would eventually make you shed tears. It's really uplifting. That was how I felt.
Jin's voice was described as "silver voice" by the recording academy. If you google "Grammy Silver Voice" Jin will come up. He's such a talented man and I hope he sees that too. Ah and this is one of the songs that made me stan.. it's what I needed to hear at the time... The way Jin conveyed the emotions really touched me... This song has saved countless people.
BTS' messages (self-love, being bulletproof, saying no etc) are so so relevant in South Korea because the youths there are pretty much very stressed, suicide rate among the highest in the world. Like rm said, if we could lessen your pain by 5%, our job is done.

I’m an old school Duranie and now Army. I get the Ordinary World reference. The epic pop rock balladness that both songs are and the facts that both Simon and Jin have pretty and unique vocal character.
You should go check the live version, Jin’s voice is so stable and emotional. It gives me goosebumps every single time. I cannot find the best one since Jin has such a stable voice. They're not actually hard to find. MVs usually be one of the first things that show up when you search. They just won't necessarily be called an MV. For example, this song was labeled a comeback trailer.
Even if you dont react to it on your channel you should watch a live version of this song. I cried both times I saw him sing this live. He is just incredible

In the concert, this song take a completely another way... Is such... Very emotional... I mean, not that is not the case (obviously is it), but in the concert... Because all fans sing together and is such an experience to live once... Really... You should react to the live performance (if you don't have yet ^^)

First place to look for BTS content is "ibighit" where you can find their official MVs. You can also look up "bangtantv" for other content like their dance practices. You won't get strikes from those

Yes I love Duran Duran! You should do some reactions to them. I don't know if you've heard their album Astronaut, it's one of my favorite albums of all time, so many good songs! Finest Hour and What Happens Tomorrow are some of my favorite songs from the album.
Wow, I'm amazed when one said that BTS reminds him of Duran Duran, he hits the nail because Bang Shi Hyuk (BigHit CEO) got inspired when he found and listen to Duran Duran for the first time, and decided to formed BTS afterwards.
Im actually glad you reacted to the lyric version instead of the official MV. Because in the MV it's not a full version of this song. And the MV is mostly related to their storyline, it could confuse you if you are not familiar with it. So, thank you for reacting to this version! 😌
When their solos have MVs, they're often if not always for intros to their new album. So don't be deterred by the phrase "Comeback trailer" or the short run time. They're not always full songs because the _are_ trailers.
