You are in Korea due to some work related reasons. Since you always wanted to visit Korea but never had the fortune to, you were pretty excited at the prospect. You also learned about the cultures beforehand also a bit of Korean; because even though people in the capital city, Seoul, can speak perfectly, you also had to visit some of the smaller, less cosmopolitan towns, which would make it difficult for you to communicate with them, if you didn't know the language properly. It was now three days since you were in this beautiful city. You were taking a train in Seoul, to your hotel after having your dinner. You had your earphones on, and you were (unconsciously) singing loudly the song that was playing through your earphones; a masterpiece that happened to be one of your first song that brought you in the beautiful world of kpop; Moon, by a singer called Kim Seokjin, who happened to be a part of a band called bts. They disbanded after the completion of their contract, and they also happened to be the one who made history in the world, with a biggest fandom in their time, ARMY. The number of ARMY is slowly dissipating after bts stopped making songs; but you swore to yours3elf that you would be an ARMY until your last breath. You sadly never had the fortune to attend their concert in *their* homeplace, Korea. Your voice echoed in the train and other passengers were irritated at the sight of a random foreigner singing in broken Korean. Suddenly a gentleman tapped your shoulder. You removed your earphones and he said in perfect Korean 'miss, you are disturbing the train' 'oh, sorry' saying so, you bowed in front of train as a sign of apology. The man wore a mask and had a baby on strapped on his chest. You presumed that it was his baby. He also had a backpack on his shoulder. You noticed that it had an RJ keychain on it. "Are you an ARMY too, sir?" you said, in imperfect Korean. The man appeared amused at first, because how you said wasn't the exact translation of what you meant (can you understand this?), and you made a mistake in the speech somewhere. But he understood what you meant. "Yes, he said. Since they started" you could see his eyes go a bit thinner, as if he were smiling. "Oh. Who is your bias?" you said. He immediately answered "WWH, Jin." You giggled and said excitedly "that's my bias is too!" You guys chatted until his stop came and he left. You noticed that he left his RJ keychain behind. "It must have came off the bag" you thought and tried to call him but the train doors were already closing on your face. You sat there, thinking about the man. His eyes and voice seemed......familiar? But you were in Korea for the first time? Did he meet you somewhere else? Did you know him somehow? But you couldn't remember. His laughter, his speech.....he almost reminded you of someone. You decided to keep it since there was no way you could give it to the man again. Seoul is a really big city and it would be impossible for you to run inot that man again. 'besides, I wouldn't let this precious gem get into the hands of a non-ARMY, they would think its trash and discard this beautiful llama.' you convinced yourself. Later that day, your phone pinged. It was an update from weverse, an app that kpop stars kept to keep in touch with their fans. Surprisingly bts still used that app and still updated all the (remaining) ARMYs about their lives. It was a post from Jin. It read "lost my favorite RJ keychain today:( But I am sure that one of my fans got it :D"
