I appreciate him being able to speak for himself in his own language rather than forcing an interpreter on him or making him speak English exclusively! Slay jimmy!

Take note. This is what the future of talk show should be for international or guests that don't speak English. Let both have an earpiece, let them each speak their languages, and have translators behind the scene so you can allow them to speak their language.

I love how JK keeps having these little side interactions with the Armys in the audience. These little knowing looks, as if sharing an inside joke. He's so comfortable with us and I love it when he shows the whole world that this is how it is between BTS and Army.

I really love that Jimmy gave him the space to speak in his native language and to switch between English and Korean - I can't see any other American hosts doing it so openly and not let language "barriers" ruin the conversation (I don't like the word "barriers" but I can't think of a better one). Jungkook has come SO far and it's amazing to continue to see him progress. This was an amazing interview!

All I saw in this episode was the purity and kindness of JK. Seeing him happy and seeing his smiles makes everyone happy just by looking at him. How he thinks deeply before answering and refines his kind words and his wonderful spontaneous movements. Our best JK.

As a fan of BTS since 2014, it amazes me to see Jungkook from being a shy boy to a shining confident that he is now. I have had pros and cons with Jimmy Fallon's interviews with BTS in the past. Sometimes I feel like he infantilizes them a little too much but CERTAINLY way less than other American interviewers. Hence ARMY tends to really like Jimmy Fallon :) I wanted to give massive props to Jimmy Fallon for this interview. I think he did a fantastic job of treating JK a) as a human being and not like a cute baby object and b) as an artist at the top of his field. I love that he mentioned all of the records he's breaking, talked about how the album gets serious and talked about his influences. I mean WOW! I don't think I've seen an American interviewer treat BTS this well yet. Thank you for getting this one right. It means so much to me to see BTS get a platform to really talk about their artistry on such a predominant show rather than solely focusing on how cute they are and sort of making them seem like playthings to be gawked at. PLUS finding a way to allow JK to switch back and forth between English and Korean as he felt comfortable is also amazing. For so long, Namjoon was relied upon to be pretty much the mouthpiece for BTS because he was understood and spoke English best. Hopefully with the development/introduction of these earpieces more of the members can get involved in interviews in the future. It really helps the interviewees express themselves more clearly and thoroughly. I loved watching this. Of course, I am so proud of Jungkook for his development and his massive success that is Golden. I always cry when listening to him recite his poem "Golden/Hwangeum" -- "I don't want to lose this precious light". Gets me every time. From all those years ago to now releasing his album Golden... just wow. He's a force to be reckoned with!

Jimmy is such a good interviewer, and he has so much respect for the boys, and it shows. BTS always choosing to work with him also shows he must respect them offline too. Jimmy seems like a genuine army and it's lovely to see the shared love between them, the boys always feel and look so safe

Jimmy does such a great job with the BTS members. It can be awkward with the translators and the guys have to think about how to talk in English. Jimmy really does well going with the flow and keeping it all moving. And kudos to Jimin, Suga and now JK putting themselves in the uncomfortable position of trying to understand and speak English in front of a live audience.

English is not the only language in the world, and it's not even the most widely spoken (it's third). but if your only language you can speak is English (and maybe some Spanish), that gives you absolutely no right to judge him. And another thing - English is JungKook's third language. how many languages can you speak? 😒😒😒 thank you that you came to my TED talk.
