Bighit always makes jk sing in his higher register but they forget how amazing his lower register sounds like, that danger era jungkook when he use to rap in his lower register when we couldnt differentiate his and tae's voice in bst and boy in love, I miss his lower register and because of this song I am able to hear jungkook in his lower deep range thanks to cover this JK. I wish more of Jungkook lower register

@@lll2282 Well.. maybe wasn't just BigHit decision but also from JK. They know how his voice suits more in specific parts or with the vibe of a song. Also Jk said that he don't go that much to vocal lessons and stuff because he wants to have his own style even if he knows he can do a lot of things with his voice. And about the danger era there's actually a lot of versatility in his voice but I think in the whole dark & wild album excluding the rap parts he still sounds sweet and not deep, definitely a lot of us are surprised and commenting about it because we never heard him like that at this extend before. But you're right, it would be amazing if Jungkook sings a little bit more with a lower register or full voice like in this song.. maybe we will have more of this side in his mixtape who knows 💜

this just proves how good of a vocalist he is, he is very versatile the reason his voice sounded like this in this cover is because he is matching harry styles's voice. he tends to do this in all his covers, he matches the technique of the original singer which is incredibly hard

His raspy vocals came out on the Tiny Desk performance of Dynamite, but this being a powerful (rockish) balad gave him freedom to play with his voice. I really hope you listen to the original track by Harry Styles. I'm just over the moon, I've been a Harry Styles's fan since 2017 and a pandemic ARMY, I seriously can't see my life without them. Today is a very happy day for me as a fan.

It is the Voice of an Angel, in Human form.... It's like Jungkook intentionally gave us a full view of just how deep he is, via his voice. The depth of tone, the lower register, and the richness in texture was at a whole new level. As I think about him in his place within BTS, he can only go so far vocally, when a song is divided up between the 7. It's simply the nature of their particular style of crafting music for multiple vocalists(and rappers). Having 2 or 3 major lines in a song can only allow for so much artistic expression and freedom. (This isn't a criticism of BTS as I love them! It's an observation of how a song for 7 is created.) Jungkook as an artist (musical and otherwise) is very gifted, and what he Gifted the world with today is simply the tip of the iceberg. It will be amazing to witness how his continued maturation as a singer and song writer progresses in the years to come.

With JK you can really hear the vulnerability and raw emotions in his voice. There's no filtering of emotions in this cover, no bs, it's just pure power and spirit. He definitely takes his time to use his voice to convey a feeling, but that doesn't feel filtered. It's such a quiet, powerful performance that I want to just swim in for awhile.

The texture that his voice had in this cover...it was different than always.., just like you said 'evolution' evolution of his vocals that we're witnessing , like i can't even find the exact words to appreciate the beauty jungkook's voice has. The way he always deeply adds his own flavor to every song he covers and for me too it was the first time hearing this song bcs of his cover and i'm so sorry but how can you even go to the original song when you have it's cover by Jeon Jungkook..😭💜 THANK YOU KOOKIE💜

My initial thoughts while listening to this cover: 1- This is JK's MAN voice!! PERIODT!!! 2- His English is almost perfect 99.9999%, pronunciation flawless! 3- I felt chills my first time listening to this cover! JK's on another level! 4- I wonder how Jose is going to react to this? P.S. Your reaction was EXACTLY as I imagined! And.. your Texanese came out lol! LOVED the reaction 10/10!

Does anyone else get the feeling he is trying to express how he truly feels, with the lyrics of this song and his relationship with ARMY? After listening to ALL of them express themselves at the end of the PTD On Stage Performance, it was apparent the past two years have been EXTREMELY tough on all of them. I get the sense they are ALL at a breaking point and are struggling with how to face the INEVITABLE without disappointing ARMY who helped them get to where they are today! It's like being in a relationship! They have reached a point of having the FREEDOM to "Call their Own Shots" as a group and as individuals! Its obvious that JK is slowly shedding his "Wholesome K-POP" image into his true authentic persona! There is ONLY so much PERFORMING the same songs, same routines, doing so many costume & concept changes for close to 10 years that even JIN fell asleep with exhaustion recently "ON STAGE!" The cracks are starting to show and I can ONLY feel sympathy & compassion for ALL of them as "HUMAN BEINGS". That is probably why it hit & felt so differently to you Jose as well as the rest of ARMY!

Watched Harry Styles MV of this song, (which was visually stunningly & moving), I can see how JK could relate on so many levels. Would NOT surprise me if JK felt moved enough to COVER the song as his own cathartic form of self expression as well as his AH-MAZE-ZING Vocals!

His voice transcends time and space. We are seeing a little more of the enormous talent that he has. His voice sounds more mature and sensual. It is an emotional moment but at the same time caresses the soul. He turns us all into poets. His way of digging into his deepest feelings and bringing them to the surface is amazing and you feel for a moment that you can touch him and his emotions. This is art. And the good one. At first I didn’t know what is going on.. and later I found out The fact that he dropped it on the same day today marks the last concert day of their world tour in 2019 10. 29…….. in Seoul and the lyrics…… I have been crying since this morning listening to his voice…..
