I believe that "Louder than Bombs" is talking about their career and how they are such huge artists that sometimes it's too hard to handle I'm not 100% sure but that what a lot of people believe Tbh I think it can also be about suicide cause that's what I thought too when I first listened to it

i love the way you interpret music and how you bring a new way of looking at songs. when i i first looked at the lyrics i thought of their journey, like the darkness and hate is louder than bombs but then through the love of army and support they gained changed their way of thinking. i think that’s prevalent in Joon and Hobi’s verses especially and that with time our support for them is what became louder than bombs, this time the bombs being hate and prejudice. i think it also showcases how much they believe and support us too. this could be off but that is what i i thought :)

I'm a bit late on this, but I definitely agree with all of this. When I heard this, I thought it wasn't going to be as deep as it truly is. I believe Namjoon said he cried while writing it. I also want to thank you for constantly encouraging us, Dylan. But please. Don't forget about yourself too. You're not alone. I promise you that. You have a place in this world. You've helped so many people laugh and smile instead of cry. I believe in you.. and I know so many other people do too.

Again tho with bts each song can be interpreted differently depending on each person who hears it. Not to trigger anyone but tbh I think they are talking about suicide. Depending when they wrote this song...it could have been last year. And yes. I do think a lot of people will be helped by this song.

I liked your interpretation of the song, I think you picked up some very insightful things from the message of the song. I also appreciate how much you work to let people know they aren't alone. This song hit me so hard too, I think I cried the first time I heard it and possibly several times after that first time. I know some of the lyrics hit me super hard, I know I have shared what has happened to me in my past in your comment section before, when you did your speak yourself video. You were/are so brave for having done that and for being open and honest about it. I wish I could give you a hug but I can't so I offer you an internet hug which also allows you not to be touched if you don't want to be. I picked up several things from the song, that feeling of being lonely and also just not being heard no matter how hard you try or how loud you get, you feel like no one listens or cares. I think that the feeling as if you are nothing is something everyone struggles with at times and it is very relatable, I know I have thought I was nothing, not worth anyone's time, too broken for someone to love me, that I didn't even know who I was. The song hit all of those things I have felt so hard and then some. I do think Yoongi's lyrics relate back to Interlude: Shadow (I also get The Last vibes from it but I got The Last vibes from Shadow as well), about how lonely it is at the top, and like you said how people assume that when you are that high up then you shouldn't have any issues, you shouldn't be sad/depressed/scared. People think that once you have money and fame that you shouldn't have problems anymore but that is just not how it works. Sometimes your problems are worse when you are at the top and constantly in the public eye. I also think some of his lyrics point towards people who envy them talking shit about them because how dare they show vulnerability when they are at the top or another way to put it, the person is so envious they think BTS being open about their struggles is just as Yoongi said pretentious and perhaps a false narrative that BTS put out to gain sympathy and fans. When in fact it is completely the opposite. They have fans because of the fact that they share their struggles with us. Also I think the lyrics about who is gonna do it? I think specifically relates to possibly the fact that they didn't have people talking about these issues as they grew up and if no one else is gonna address them and no one else is gonna care, then who else is going to do it but them? From the beginning they had a message to give, the message has changed over time and as they have gotten older and matured the things they have had to deal with have changed but what their fans go through has also changed. But they still feel the need to continue spreading their message, of self acceptance and self love. It kind of feels like in Yoongi's verse that he is saying that they want to be for fans what they didn't have growing up. It almost feels like their burden to bare but also something they WANT to do and NEED to do because connecting with so many people through their music hasn't just helped their fans, it's helped them too. I hope this made since, I'm so sorry if it didn't I am beyond exhausted. Also Sorry if I repeated myself a lot. If this is too rambly I can come back later and adjust it.

Louder Than Bombs is one of the most interesting track in this album and based on my interpretation, this song talks about the struggles they had through behind all the success they've got. They were hiding those hardships and it turned to be their shadow. They wanted to run away from this shadow and give us only the best and happiest. But there's no need for that anymore. As loud as bomb, they would express the pain and torment. They would break and say it all to the world. Getting on to this spot was unbearably hard and people should not envy them. But even how hard it was and it will be, in the last part, they say, "Louder than bombs, I sing" and it meant that, they would continue this path because they have chosen it, they picked this game. No matter what the waves are (the waves pertain to the struggles), they would sing endlessly because they are fighters that never gave up for us (Armys). And because the Armys also didn't leave their side. This track really hit my heart.

Yoongi’s part has a big mistranslation. No wonder you are confused on that part. His part should be translated as: “People say they envy us. The pain I have, they call it hypocrisy.” Not, “the pain I have is called hypocrisy” The point here is that people call their pain hypocrisy. That they should just be happy and thankful for their fame.

I think the song is about the struggles they continue to face, being in the position they are currently in. And that no matter how painful it may be, they are going to keep pushing through because they chose this path. They love what they do, hence Jimin singing “yeah, we picked this game”. I also think that some of the struggles they face are harassment from some ARMYs/saesangs and being told that their fanbase is toxic, but that at the end of the day our love for one another prevails... which is why they will “sing to us endlessly”. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk 😂

This song appears to be symbolizing the loudness of bombs to two things: pain and success. In the first chorus, BTS say how they go through a significant suffering, described as breaking louder than bombs. Throughout the song, they describe how they hope for better days and then leading into how they will fight against any hard times while accepting it as they chose to be artists. They begin to develop confidence as can be seen and they’re no longer afraid and will not run away anymore. The song ends with BTS saying how they’ve taken the pain and fear and after accepting it and moving past it, they’re now singing louder than bombs with confidence and determination for even greater things to come. So it basically told us not to be afraid of anything and to be confidence always and stand strong, no matter what. That's what they are talking about not suicide.

To be honest this lyrics video was not very accurate at all and had so many mistakes. I recommend going on twitter and searching for the lyrics from one of our really good translators. The people who make these lyric videos always try to put them up as fast as possible and because of that, they have so many errors in them or are just worded badly

I love this song, it's melancholy and brooding but tells a story of hopeful commitment! It starts off dark where the "bomb" is the pain and struggle that they and we hide behind masks and "cheers" and when they realized it they "break". Some ARMYs deny their own pain and growth because they focus on BTS and, I imagine, vice versa but while their music is like a salve and helps with the pain and struggle for ARMY; likewise ARMYs cheers and adoration do the same for BTS, none of us can stay there - we all have to face the fear, the struggle, and hopefully come out on the other side having grown into a better person by speaking up (not staying "mute") and reaching out for the support you need; and by your support system recognizing your "silent sadness" which can also be Louder Than Bombs and supporting you. But the song then turns into a resolution, pretty much in the middle of Hobi's verse, he acknowledges the darkness is everywhere but encourages us not to be afraid and even if it appears to swallow BTS, they will not give up and will keep fighting. BTS "picked this game" and chose to be trainees of a small company and were likely warned by Bang PD and maybe even their parents/peers that it would be a difficult road yet they stay in the fight for ARMY and ARMY stays in the fight for BTS. So even though we, all of us, go through pain and struggles ("no matter what we do", rich or poor) BTS and ARMY are here for each other because who else will stay in the fight with us. The song ends with a promise that BTS, no matter what "waves strike", will always sing to ARMY - Louder Than Bombs... 🎤ah ah ah aaaaaaahhhhh😉 At the recent PTD On Stage concerts in LA, RM said that BTS is the bullet and ARMY is the proof so together we are Bulletproof. BTS💜ARMY💜BTS💜ARMY...

Yeah I agree with a lot of what you said, I think this song is about facing very dark times in your life especially where you're wondering whether it's al worth it, if you made the right choices and if you're doing what you're supposed to be doing. Although I think rather then them saying 'who's gonna save you if not me' I think it's more like 'with everything we've gone through if we're not gonna talk about it then who will'. At the end I think the message is one of determination, even though it's not easy and sometimes you feel lost, we're going to keep walking no matter what trails we face, and maybe we can take some comfort in each other

The song is very dark and chilling that its emotional but makes you think and dig down and feel something Given the whole Shadow persona and ego You wear a mask to hide yourself so your being fake, your in pain or ashamed to show the real you. But you start to lose part of yourself, you start to go insane Map of the Soul Facing yourself in all forms (Carl Jung) Past Present Future they are all still you. You can't run you have to face everything and live with it even the pain Gotta go insane to stay sane Yeah we picked this game ( We chose this life) Can't hold me down 'cuz you know I'm a fighter Carried myself into this beautiful prison Find me and I'm gonna live with ya

Hey I just wanted to point out the meaning of the song! I saw how everyone related it to suicide and career and half of it was right! So the song actually “tells the story of how sadness and fear grow as one encounters stories of pain all around the world. The message that “we will continue to listen to your story and will never stop singing, so speak yourself” (Spotify lyric storyline) So basically what its saying is that BTS is telling Army to speak. Speak all of their pain, sadness, anger, etc. which is referred to as the “bomb”, to let it out because they hear us and in order to make us feel better, they will not stop singing and writing music. They will speak for everyone in their music. Tell the world about our pains, their pains, our struggles and their struggles. BTS and Army are all going through many struggles in life and that together we will make it out. The part where Namjoon says “ baby I’m nothin’er then nothin’, lighter than the light, don’t you want a thing from me, You say I’m somethin’er than somethin’, lighter than the lighter, don’t you give up your life,” hes basically saying that they (BTS) are basically nothing much, that they are not bright with their flaws, just normal guys or people but that we (Army) say that they are more than just 7 guys even with their flaws so since we look up to them as our role models, idols etc., we should not give up on ourselves!! It is a deep, dark and sad song but this is mainly what its about. BTS hears our stories, fears, pains etc. and they will speak louder than bombs (bombs meaning the sadness/fears/pain) to break them away from us so that we only see and hear them to heal us, heal each other. The more they hear our bombs, the louder they will get to break them and protect us.
@Nani-0613
@Nani-0613 4 года назад
I dont think it's about suicide but it's however you feel it is It think it's about Their career and yeah it's great but it's not easy, there are hardships and you go through so much. It could also be about struggling with mental health or how everyone has a breaking point . Being frustrated and pushed beyond your limit or feeling like your tired. Screaming to get your point across or from frustration. Louder than bombs I break; Louder than bombs I sing; Louder than bombs I break I think it could be interpreted as don't give up, it gets better or easier. There is darkness in light, let me be your light to guide you and save you Dont you give up your life; Don't you give up your life Feeling lost frustrated and just down Wanting I to be over or done Here I stay wish for better days Don't ou give up your life here I Stay Don't give up Keep fighting Being stuck and going in a maze list and in a daze The darkness don't be afraid anymore Don't let your darkness, sadness or fear consume you

I read somewhere that it was referencing a movie by the same name that shows an incident from each person's perspective and most of the characters had some form of mental struggles. The title is to show that the intrusive negativity even as a whisper can fill your mind louder than bombs going off. Personally I think that it has a double meaning for BTS because not only are the thoughts loud, they couldn't even feel our love. ARMY's bombs could not reach their hearts in the darkest times and that makes me want to cry.

I loved your interpretation of this, and your clearly very sincere feelings about people and their struggles. I saw your realisation that your impulsive suggestion that this could be about suicide might be a trigger, and can tell that you know something about this - enough to understand perhaps more than many people. This touched me, as do your closing comments that no matter how dark your life seems in this moment, there is always light. Touched also by your offer to be there for us, if we need you. Thank you. I also see this is a sincere letter to ARMY that they will always be here for us offering us love and support, and it also makes me cry every time I hear it. I look forward to when an authoritative translation is available - I understand many of the translations which are issued so quickly on release of the album can be hurried and contain errors, or misleading details. Thanks for sharing your reaction to Louder than Bombs.

That was such a deep and depressing song for me. It was supposed to be hopeful though.
