I was here during that era when people keep on comparing and make them as competitors . super junior came out with sorry sorry, 2 PM famous with all their beastly body and all but in the end BIGBANG still relevant through the years. I think because BIGBANG never one to follow the trend, they create it.

Let me brief you. First you must note that I'm on both BB and BTS side, so I'm here in neutral position and only serving data for you to do not jump rushly without digging further about two of these groups perfomance. 1. This performance was in 2016. BB debut on 2006, means they had been on stage about 10 years, while BTS debut in 2013, so they were only 3 years. Even Seungri the youngest of BB was the same age to the eldest of BTS, Jin at 22nd years old. There is a quote, experience is the best leason, isnt it? 2. BB is coming from a very established company YG, which has long experience in trainning their artist nd managing any related to the business well. All BB's members mostly had 5-7 years trainning period with full facility such as vocal, dance coach etc, before they debut, which means they were prepared well before, plus 10 years experiences. While BTS is coming from a very small agency, nearly bangkrupt, event they almost cant debut due financial issue. The longest trainning period for the members was only 3 years for RM and Suga, while even Jimin was about 7 months only. They trainned with mininum facility due to financial reason, vocal coach only for Jin, V and Suga, the others practically were autodidac either in rapping or vocal. There is a quote : Practice makes perfect, doesnt it? 3. For me, in this performance I agree with you, BB's performance were more established , more outstanding, but still either BB or BTS's songs obviously structure and composition of Kpop (which isnt for me 😁 as I'mnt a Kpoper). The fact since 2017, BTS's music has been evoluting more modern follows the trend of world music, as you can hear Dynamite, Boy In Love, Make It Right, Permission To Dance. Their songs are more universal arrangement, as well their vibes, so easier to be accepted by new generation. Lately you can find Jimin and especially JK's solo album, they are really with western vibes, while Taeyang of BB latest album is still Kpop vibes. As I said before that I'mnt a Kpoper, so still neither BB nor BTS's music are my favorite and only them that I know so far as Kpop artist. I come to BTS for my curiosity because they are so fenomenal even President Joe Biden and King Charles mentioned them. 🙂

Agreed. That is probably Bigbang's strongest ability. Their stage presence was out of this world. Even today there are very few groups who could match Bigbang's stage performance. I always hate it when people look down on Bigbang because they don't have the best vocals or dancing abilities. There are groups out there who could sing and dance better than Bigbang, but tell me why they still can't match Bigbang's performances then.

itsme nine9, I disagree. I’ve been to both during tours, & I’ve seen both, as well as BTS & GD at Kcon, but my opinion is that BTS has the better stage. Both have awesome stage presence, but BTS interacts with the crowd better.
