Can you imagine how relevant these topics were for them back then? In some TV show they talked about their first love experience. It seems Suga said that he wrote a note to a classmate he was suffering about that said, “Get out of my school.” This is such love!
I love Dark and Wild. Angsty, hormonal, Baby Bangtan! 😂 They've definitely grown up and their messages have matured, but this was such a fun album and it's amazing they put out music of such high quality so early in their careers.
When i read the tittle and see "war of hormones", i said "Pat, r u sure?" And then when that song playing, every time like EVERY TIME Pat being tired of V. Yes, pat. This "V" was too much. He's indeed a naughty boy. Even RM can't handle him😭 I love you're reaction tho.

You gotta watch the dance practices for these too omg. Danger is for sure one of my favorite ones from them because of the intricacy and how ridiculously in sync they are for it (not to mention how cool it is in general). And war of homone's choreo is so fun and has so many versions lol. I definitely suggest you watch the normal dance pratice for that one first (its the one where they're outside) and then the "real war ver." which is basically just them acting like crackheads the whole time💀😭🤣
It speaks to the high quality of the songs and this album that even to this day these songs still rock!!!!! I love everything about Danger, it so aggressive!!!! There is a remix version that takes this aggressive song and make it more angst and it works so well. On RU-vid you kind find it under Danger (Mo-Blue-Mix) (feat. Yes, boys during this age are hormone driven and this song is a perfect depiction of that 😂. Girls at this age are also hormone driven but in a somewhat different way. And although Jin seemed in control for these mv’s he definitely gets more aggressive in later MV’s 😂😂😂

There is a dance practice for this where the guys create a car door in their choreo, quite imaginative. As others mentioned, BTS got into hot water with WOH, with folks saying it objectified women. Namjoon started to have a professor in women's studies go over his lyrics looking for things that might be misunderstood. Of course now they are well-known for how respectful they are--but they're ten years older.

In the narrative of the album's I got the impression that: The girl in Boy In Luv that all the guys confessed to, then in War of Hormone she accepted a member, before Danger she fell out of luv or grew out of her crush & ghosted the member. Hence the anger born from confusion in Danger.

The album describes that period between adolescence and young adulthood. It was recorded in the US while they were filming a reality show. They also recorded in the same studio in LA where the choir and the UCLA Bruin Marching Band recorded their part for “ON” and other songs in “Map of the Soul 7”. I don’t even know how they did it because they were exhausted. There are footage of them sleeping in the studio while waiting for their turn to record. Anyways, this album is great.
