I love this song so much, it makes me cry every time. It’s so beautiful and touching. I have chronic disease and I'm disabled. When I'm very sad, I always watch a BTS video or listen to a BTS song. It's comforting and home. This performance is awesome and they all are so fine here. Thank you for this good reaction. 💜
Mikrokosmos is easily in my top 5 (though I can’t give a full list either). It honestly feels like yes, it’s to ARMY, but also it feels like a love letter for all of humanity. Each light is special. I realise BTS is home whenever I gravitate to them during hard moments and in my everyday. I watch Run episodes to distract myself or cheer myself up, listen to music (like everythingoes by RM) when I’m grieving, have boyz with fun in my headphones when I’m on a walk - they just are with me as constant company in my life. I don’t think many days have gone by since i found them in 2020 that i haven’t heard at least 1 song.

During the Speak Yourself tour, “Mikrokosmos” always came after BTS' ending ments, making it an emotional song. And when BTS talks about lights/stars in the lyrics, they're both referencing the stars of the kosmos (of the night sky/the universe) and also I believe the sea of lights at their concerts that look so much like stars in the night. Each little light from an ARMY bomb represents a person who is a whole world unto themself. That is the time when BTS celebrate the anniversary of their debut. They put out videos and give ARMY songs for the celebration. That clip was from the last day of their Love Yourself/Speak Yourself tours. It was the last tour they had before the pandemic hit. The last shows in their tours tend to be very emotional. With this tour especially they had been doing it for almost 2 years. They kept refining it and adding to it so this was close to their hearts and it was sad and happy to have it end.
