Inner child the song that Tae wrote (with the help of RM ) to his younger self always makes me emotional.....the lyrics are so deep and beautiful ❤❤

Inner Child always makes me a little emotional when i hear it, wait until you watch the live performance, itz so good!! Idk why color coded lyrics never translate the convo between Namjoon and Yoongi at the end of Respect but it's basically them joking around and being sarcastic like "hyung what's respect?" "Idk never heard of it" lol stuff like that relating to the meaning of the song!! Wish you had done the lyrics for Respect from AfTaehyung as well, it's better and covers more of their funny ad-libs I would also recommend A LOT for you to watch "Answer: BTS 3 Units" where each of the units (Jamais Vu, Respect and Friends) talk more about the song!!! The 3 videos are not very long and i think it's a must watch for sure!!!

Map of the Soul: 7 is basically bts revisiting their history as a group for seven years. This album broke so many records and in my opinion for sure deserved a grammy nomination. Jamais vu is a song that always gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it. it's such an underrated song of bangtan and deserves lots of attention,it really makes me sad how jamais vu is so underrated compared to other bangtan songs. jin's and jk's vocals hit so hard along with hobi's amazing rapping in midst of the vocals. Inner child : One wonderful thing to know about Tae is that he absolutely loves kids. It’s always touching to see him with little ones. I love this song so much. Since the first time I heard it. It sounds so hopeful and sincere. Like hang on to your dreams as a child and hold on tight, because this merry go round of life is what you make of it. A promise of good things to come if you can dream and imagine, have faith and persevere. RESPECT : I love this song for the fact that they’re discussing how people just say “respect” without really meaning it or understanding it these days, but also for what suga was talking abt in his verse. He’s pointing out that yes people say they respect BTS bc they’ve done so many inconceivable things (which they don’t always feel they deserve bc they’re humble kings) while also pointing out that some of the people that are saying they respect BTS (in the industry and in the k-hip hop community) don’t actually mean it and will say it to their face while talking sht abt them behind their backs. Suga says he respects them (bc that’s just the kinda guy he is) but he also says he knows they don’t actually respect him so they might as well not even say it.

Jamais vu is an incredible song. Jhope did a great job composing

When Tae was a child he lived with his grandparents till he left for Seoul to become a trainee. He lived with them while his parents worked in cities to make ends meet. His grandparents were farmer so they were poor. Because of this he stuggled very much He had a very close relationship with his grandparents they were basically his parents. He had a very deep connection. He loved his grandma the most, who is no more. He shared the news with Armys while on stage. It was a very heartbreaking to see him like that. He was a very naughty and hyper and extroverted kid. He was happy. He wrote this during I think 2019-2020 period when he was mentally in a very bad place and stuggling. Inner Child always makes me very emotional. He is so strong and motivatea me to better person daily. Couldn't have done it without him and the members. Armys son't forget to stream Friends, RPWP and SGMD.

Every time I hear “Ayo, SUGA”, I smile. Respect is such a fun live performance. Hope you guys will put it on your very extensive list. Inner Child always makes me emotional. Knowing that Tae had RM help him with the lyrics- Taejoon’s relationship is so precious. I love the fondness RM has for young Tae. Jamais Vu is just a super pretty song with a sad message. 😂 I love listening to it, but when I think about the lyrics and their meaning, it always makes me a little sad because I start thinking about past relationships.

Little tidbit about the song, the original lyrics V wrote were "we never change" but then on RM's advice he changed it to "we gonna change" because that's what his story is about since he has maintained his inner child, the innocence even though he has grown up, Inner child is such a sweet song. It really helps me remember to stay connected to my younger self. Even if as adults we're expected to "grow up" and let go of things we used to love as kids, holding onto that part of ourselves is important, fot me it brings a lot of happiness on sad/bad/stressful days to just play video games or fangirl over BTS hahaha. Tae made a really beautiful song

Inner Child was in my thoughts a lot during Layover era as I thought it was such an appropriate song for how Tae would have been so proud to tell his young self...yeah...look at what we have accomplished. We did all this. Believe in yourself my boy. You are capable of all this.

I had forgotten that they had already seen most of MOTS7's songs, this album is so famous and relevant. Remember to listen to the entire album from head to toe, it is another experience to listen to it from the perspective of the storyline guided by the concepts of human psychology of Carl Jung, your head will explode Respect's live performance is the funniest. I hope you see it soon. Namjoon and Yoongi had a lot of fun with this song.

You should see the performance of this. V has a little mini me of himself dressed alike and he is singing to him as himself as a little boy. It's from the same performance where Jin performed "Moon" at one of their online concerts during the pandemic. I was crying and didn't even realize it.💜💜💜💜

Inner child is definitely one of my fav songs from this album. The way it amps up at the end. Like it leaves you breathless I am so upset that we never got to see this live in a stadium. Imagine the crowd singing in harmony the entire last part of this song. Chills... Ps. I do listen to this song by switching my headphones to concert mode 😅

When I first heard Jamais Vu, it immediately went to one of my top bts songs. This kind of song is my jam and it's really a beautiful song, almost gives me the same feels when I listen to Heartbeat

there's something about inner child that makes me soooo emotional😭 I think the song says a lot about Namjoon's perception of taehyung and their relationship, since Namjoon spoke about his inspiration behind the song and how tae's innocence makes him think of his own inner child. But it also makes me emotional when thinking about taehyung and his journey over the last decade. the member's have frequently said that tae is the most innocent of them, but he has also experienced a lot of changes over the years, as is natural. when he was younger, he was almost manic with energy, so excited all the time to do absolutely anything and everything. over the years as he got older, he matured and calmed down a lot, but seemed to hit a wall around late 2019-2020. at this time, lots of people were concerned, but lots were also saying this was just the new, 'grown up' taehyung - that his personality now is just quiet, reserved, and aloof. in my opinion, it is clear that taehyung was struggling then, and in the last couple years, we have seen taehyung brighten again, and in his happiness, he has revealed that his inner child was there all along. all of this adds even more meaning to the song, even if that wasn't the initial intension behind it. I would do anything to get so see tae perform this live for a stadium singing it back to him

j-hope wrote Jamais Vu. I want to see it performed live more than any other song mostly because I think Jin, j-hope, and Jungkook are the three best live vocalists in BTS and I just know it would make for a powerful stage and sound beautiful!

What’s really cool is the melody itself also represents a jamais vu, because the chorus is so pretty and sing-along-able, that you think you know where it’s going, and then are taken by surprise and feel like it’s a completely new song by the time you get to the chorus! Very meta. Inner Child is gorgeous. It was my most listened to song on spotify last year. The “you’re my boy” part always makes me emotional. “The many thorns on the budding rose, I want to give them a hug.” 🥺 Respect is really cool too, they talk about the latin origin of the word, re = again, spect = to look, so it literally means to look at someone again, like “i see your flaws because i’ve looked at you so much, and still respect you.” And also, “don’t use words you don’t mean”, people say things so easily without thinking about the words they're using, which is so true!

Ok..INNER CHILD..My all time Fav..❤❤❤ Little bit about the song.. The song describes the uncertainty of future that V dreamed when he was a child.. But he is saying to his childhood that today's him is doing great and don't worry and work hard.. It's a message from future V to young V.. Overall it's a song that relates to anyone.. feels nostalgic about own childhood.. IDK about you but everytime this song plays I cried remembering my childhood. The lyrics and V's voice is so hearttouching. Also this was mainly written by RM and V based on V's personal feelings.. Also it would be great if you lookafter the lyrics same as the music.. MOTS album lyrics are the best.. specially Black swan, on and inner child💜️ (others also great)

Inner Child is one of my favorite tracks on the album. I like to listen to BTS song to get the feel of the song before diving more into the lyrics. I had nostalgic feelings and started crying when Inner child was playing. I can't explain it but somehow I felt V's emotions being conveyed through the song. V has a special voice that always soothes me it's always an emotional coaster ride listening to V. I hope you can watch Taehyung sing it live, V got emotional hearing ARMY on the live stream singing back to him.

V's songs tend to be an emotional gut punch, sooo deep , "This song is for the little boy imnida, who worked hard to become who I am today. Now that you got to it I'd like to recommend Map Of The Song: 7 it's a video they did for 2020 Festa where they did karaoke but singing each other's songs (units or solos), it's not only songs from Map of the Soul 7 but since it came out during this era and after Map Of The Soul 7 was released I think now would be the perfect time for you to watch it!!! I believe there's only one song there that you don't know that is "Winter Bear" by Taehyung that he released on SoundCloud, just so you know before you watch it in case you want to listen to it first!!

I always place this album as my favorite BTS album of all time. But I also hold it closer in my heart because this wad released when covid happened. In turn most all of us never got to experience this tour because it was canceled. This album deserved so much more recognition than it received but unfortunately covid put a halt on that. I'm still have that it broke so many records but imagine what more could've been possible if they were able to tour and or promote more.

MOTS 7 is such an amazing album. Jamais Vu is beautiful and Respect is so great and fun…Inner Child is my favorite Tae solo. It feels so epic and nostalgic and the live performances of it were so heartwarming. 🥺

Happy Independence Day! I'm sitting here watching this while having a late breakfast and when it came to Inner Child I just found myself with tears streaming down my face. Because when he sings "we gon[na] change" it is acknowledgment that he's struggling even now, or aware of flaws even now, and looking back and seeing how far he's grown is encouragement for positive change yet to come. I think I needed to be reminded of that in my own life today.

Greetings from Guatemala! I remember That RM was reviewing MOT 7 on Weverse, he told us Suga and RM were recording it at once. They tried to recording it again or tried to re-touch it, they realized that they couldn't bring the synergy like the first one, so they just kept it as it was. My favorite is Jamais vu. I think it is under rated song.

Ah..I know that you already listened to most of the album before. But especially with a big album like this one, it would have been better to listen to it from beginning to end to understand what BTS wanted to convey with it. I don't think that you listened to the full version of Shadow yet either. Either way, I love the fact that you are going through all of BTS' discography, and I suppose that when you are done with Proof you will listen to the mixtapes / solo albums, I would just ask of you to try and listen to them entirely at once. That's what BTS themselves always ask us to do 💜 And ofc, thank you for the great content!!

That respect lyric was a horrible translation by the way.... it didn't have half of the lyrics for some reason. Most lyric videos like those are bad I would suggest asking your mods to find good lyric videos for you guys before watching in the future. It's sad you guys don't get the full scope of how funny the song is.
