Jungkook is technically a "sub-rapper" for BTS. :) He used to rap pretty often in their earlier songs and will still cover the rappers parts if they can't be there. He covered Suga's part in "Best of Me" for last years New Years concert when he was out from his shoulder surgery. There is also a great performance where all seven of them performed "Ddaeng" and even though they ALL killed it... JK REALLY killed it. :)
Fetus bangtan are so fun to watch😁 yeah, the styling is a little awkward and that's why it was soon changed, but the talent and sincerity are there from the get-go! There's a performance of this song from 2020 and the line of people Jimin runs on is much much longer 😁 and the song still slaps

I really recommend watching "Rise of Bangtan" it's made by Army so you can watch it on RU-vid. But it will really enlightens you on BTS, how they came to be, the industry.. just everything important.. every Army recommends to watch it.. it is truly eye opening, and teaches you a whole other level of respect for BTS and Idols in general.
Yoongi actually has the nickname of Minstradamus. His lyrics always have a lot of foresight but he’s also made some very accurate predictions over the years that came true like chart numbers and award wins. The one that always stuck in my mind was him talking of a stadium tour in a BTS Kkul FM 06.13 episode as early as 2013 or 2014. Jungkook rapped on several of the older songs, but he’s so often the center as the main vocalist and part of the dance line that it became a lot. He rapped Yoongi’s parts several times when the latter was on hiatus for his shoulder surgery. You can also see him kill it in Ddaeng (all members version, 5th Muster).
yes from the very the start they spoke their truth. for me this song sympathises youngsters but also criticizes them and the society theyr in. like most young ppl do, they question everything, they reject the norm, they rebel. bts at that time were just kids, jungkook was merely 15. and one can say they rebeled their way thru this music industry. from the beginning their music reflects who they are and what they are experiencing that time, it's always about their journey as ppl, as artists. tbh i feel like im growing up w them. it's truly amazing to witness their growth as artists and as ppl
I'm a relatively baby Army (as of early 2021), but I feel like I've caught up pretty much to all their music and their journey. One thing that sets BTS apart for me personally, is that they always had a vision. "No More Dream" was their first single. And, like you said, they were preaching about the same things they talk about now. A lot of credit also needs to go to Big Hit, because the company did a a great job fostering BTS' talent and helping them walk down this path. But the sheer hard work and determination these guys have had since Day 1 is incredible. You're right, they really do deserve all the good things that they have achieved.

And Jungkook-the-rapper was the reason I searched for more BTS songs. So imagine my surprise when I heard him sing. 🤯
That was Jin driving/crashing the bus. You have now been introduced to Rapper JK. You will find that he rapped in a few of their songs. Our Golden Maknae not along can sing but raps. One thing that he usually did (not sure if he still does) is learn all parts of the song, including the rap lines. This would allow him to fill in for any member if needed. We don't call him Golden for nothing.

When I was in 8th grade we were supposed to go skiing for a field trip. I had zero interest in going skiing, so I asked my mom if she would call me out sick the day of the field trip so I wouldn't have to go thankfully she said she would as I never really missed school and I also had pretty good grades When I woke up the day of the ski trip I had a really bad sore throat and felt nauseated. So at least my mom didn't have to lie for me about being sick, but instead of having the day off I was sick in bed all day.

I love baby Bangtan. They're just so adorable. But, yeah, they had a lot to say from the start. And JK did rap in the beginning. That's why they call him the golden maknae because he is literally good at everything he does. But I'm guessing Big Hit decided his vocals won out over his rap skills. I think they should have let him do both. But, yeah...This is where our boys started. They were awesome then and they've only grown more awesome since. Thanks for the reaction!

3:57 actually for me it’s the opposite i always believe that i can heal or prevent sickness with my mind so whenever i have a headache or I feel that I might be sick soon i just say to myself ‘no it doesn’t hurt no you’re not gonna be sick I won’t let you’ and it works most of the time idk if bc of that but I believe it does

I would like to say because BTS always changes their dynamic, they are truly one of the most versatile group.... And maybe its one of the reason of their success!
Bangtan felt so much pressure in all areas during those time.... They have to work harder compare to other idols who are under Big3 at that time... Members are open in how they exactly feel while they're trainee & preparing for their debut.... Some of them resisted but just like some other idols, it is the path that they have to go through in fulfilling their dreams.... it shows in every MVs & performances, how hard they want it for a purpose... the best thing that I love throughout the process is having those trusted people around them, who are guiding them with proper values... reason why we have Bangtan! I believe there are more groups like them and I wish & pray for them to fulfil their dreams too.... responsibly and with humility....

I believe that JK was going to debut as a rapper because he admired RM's rapping (although I might be wrong), and J-Hope started rapping during training/Pre-Debut in 2010. BTS also has some Pre-Debut covers, which are amazing.
